Lifes Journey

Life’s Journey

An adventure begins – a seed plummeted into a liquid pool.
A ripple arises – waves increase, they continue to expand.
They gain girth – they run across the crystalline surface of time.
They absorb much – their journey begins to wane.
They touch the shore – dissipate and are no more.

Poet Destroyer A Date: 12/28/2014 6:33:00 PM William, I was out for 6 months, I only had time to post one poem a month. I had many problems. However, I don't hear from you much. But, that never stops me from saying hello. Thank you for commenting on my comment. I want to take this time and wish you a wonderful New Year. I'm making this my year of new hopes and new opportunities. I have a good feeling, 2015 will be one of Poetry Soups Brighter and Better Years. Sending warm hugs. I do hope Linda, that it was for life’s pleasures ?, and not for some negative reasons ? I see that “ I had many problems. ” answers my concerns and I am sorry to read this my Dear. I do pray that today all your problems have been resolved . “ However, I don't hear from you much. ”, yes this is very true Linda, one of my many character flaws. Between living life, writing life, putting together auto biographical, biographical, pictorial family history books – some seventy seven volumes with some sixty tree thousand pages and over thirty five thousand photos, answering emails, relying to poetrysoup comments, etc., etc. I never seem to have the time to initiate anything, so I just reply / answer and that takes about eight to ten hours a day . “ But, that never stops me from saying hello. ” and I truly appreciate your, and the couple of others who are thoughtful enough to do so !!! Thank you very much for “ WILLIAM, Congratulations -- ”, something that I was totally unaware of and in my computer illiteracy have been unable to find my “ poem featured on the soups front page. ”. Thank you though for the heads up and yes “ This is a great way to end and start the new year, ” and even greater had I been able to have seen it displayed . Thank you Linda, for the thought “ Hope your Christmas was a merry one! ” and it has been thus far, even with five different Christmas Suppers under my belt – one was of my own creation.
