Lifes Journey

She's haunted by the what ifs, The why's and what could have been, She's haunted by mistakes she's made, That shattered all her dreams. If only she could reverse time And go a different way, Maybe things would be different Sitting here today. She knows her worries are futile, We each have to follow Gods plan, Lessons had to be learnt, She had to play her hand. She tries to live in the here and now, Forgetting the pain and sorrow, Enjoy each day as it is given And live with hope for tomorrow.

I can very well relate to this poem of yours, it's like you were writing about my life's journey as well. Adding it to my favorite poems, this is a 7 for me. :)

Wonderful Elizabeth. a 7+ Sometimes its hard not to regret mistakes of the past though, bringing forth the question 'What If'?

I'm sure we all have regrets that we wish we had handled differently. Lessons we all learn.
