The music in my mind plays softly.
It is quiet today.
I can write and enjoy
each stroke of the pen
as it touches the paper...
like a lover for the first time
with their dearest one.
Gentle, soft, and methodical
the sounds interlace the moment,
with memory, to create remembrances
for later, when the resonances have lessoned
or stopped altogether. .

In the distance
I can see the white clouds,
they are rising slowly,
and gaining power, and physical strength.
My heart beats slightly faster, at the sight,
and the music responds.

Somewhere nearby
harps were joined by lutes,
and flutes.
Not dancing and prancing,
but bouncing against the unseen
droplets that will fall with the coming storm.
It has not happened,
but I know that it will... still.

I rush to finish the equation,
of love and forever,
the answer clearly presented.
The tune changed,
and rearranged...
the water touched the paper,
and caressed it anew,
the secret was then lost.

Miles Yonder Ways

Tantalizing thought whiff wafted on the evening breeze
Both chapters and mistakes;
Lessoned me
Some chapters, I read repeatedly
Some mistakes, I don't want to repeat again

Yonder for miles,
Be and by now
His voice echoes
Like the high mountains reverting my own voice
His benign touches
Like wild wind tangles my hair tresses
His smell of scent and essence of his grace
Like an oasis, calmed and centred over sandy wilderness

Yonder for miles,
Then and by now
Ensnared with or without memories,
Like a casket filled with solitaires
Some were mine
And some he gifted me...

Absence of Discernmemt

Wisdom tree is broken down,
From the peak of hand in hands,it can't be replaced,
When condition got worse,
No leaves were found on its branch,
Thinking I would survive through jungle of attention,
Its remedy was an illussion,
Appeared as realist in blue jeans,
Walking on pavements linked to everlands,
I had no alternative than to jump for declining ideas,
Unfortunately, jungle of knowledge was putting on black mind,
My head was covered with helmet,
Craddle as kiddish ferret,
And my eyes seeing through a goggle,
Carnally,my thinking falcuty was going through ogle,
Making the glory fade away through the medium on my face,
Play of disrespect spat curses on my youthful days,
Ushered me into lessoned chambers in the brain,
Wisdom was nowhere to clean a stain,
After I became vintage for a while in vain.

Damn Again

Okay, so you come fill me up with your drama
You didn't even realize I would become a problem
You left me without a wave goodbye or a kiss to remember you by
In my mind I said to myself
Selfish as usual going around these men like a carousel
I am not desperate for sex, but desperate for love
WOW!!!! He dropped a mickey in my happy juice again, D***
Those words and the way you look at me
While being intimate with me
Making me feel free
Again, now I'm lonely
You did this to me and you sit there in your feelings and wonder why
I was mind-sexed by your good looks and great conversation
Let this be a lessoned learned to get with a true situation

Premium MemberFailure Teaches Success

His result slip showed he had failed
Friends celebrated their success
But his parents and some he shamed
Had pinned on him their hopes and focus

His Dad said "For negligence, it's the price
Your direliction is hard to repair
So change your style to do better in life"
And he sat like a mountain in despair

Son forgot laxity and his ugly past
And set himself to make it remember
Reformed for next exam and fixed fast
"Failure teaches success," he would utter

No more sorrow and shame he'd bear
No faltering, no fall but bright future
Bad experience lessoned him to dare
And avoid loss of face through failure

He abandonned excess video games
And concentrated in his text books
Made alterations to feed his study aims
And set Success like bait on his hooks

His consistent work bought him success
The year ended with earned love and praise
His negligence was just like an abcess
That of failure was just his life's phase

A Micro Haiku Anthology

my faith… tested
each day young life lost.. sadness
why not me... I’ve lived

the taste of life…
once sweet… delicate now… gone sour
final hours… close
~
raw facts of life… pain…
rapture… if treated with care
putting wrongs to right
~
project Mars… a dream…
Kids Radio Talk… their planning
journeys into space
~
galaxies…. beyond
infinity… life who knows
possibilities
~
wish upon a star
no… wish about a star…
then you will survive
~
white cliffs… limestone life
extinct… extant… habitat
seek and ye shall find
~
look to the stars
do you see a future
in the past…
~
garden of Eden
what if it had been true
no chance subsisting
~
past failures
should be lessoned learned by all
what went wrong
~
sunlight… slipping… gone
darkness on its own… blinding
bats conquered…. echoes
~
thunder rumbling,
echoes born of lightning
as was all earth' life
~
the plopping frogs
breaking water tension
beware of showers
~
beware of showers
breaking water tension
the plopping frogs

Now and What Can Be

I feel a weight lifted of my shoulders,
Like past B.C. Olympians throwing boulders.

The world overall is a place of wonder,
rules made to be broken, and disappoint mothers.
What if? Could it? Should it happen,
To be a rebel with a cause is my only passion.

Mistakes are what shaped us into becoming great.
Lessoned learned, through tested faith.
Do we blames ourselves?
Or pretend a pray?

In all reality, no God can challenge me.
I am who I am and am not afraid of my fatality.
Family is first because blood is shared in our veins.
Oneself can be hurt, from the heart to one's brain.
Together as one unity eases pain.

Speaking your mind is a characteristic I truly admire,
It must be facts stated, not opinions in haste to put gas on a fire.
To all those who work hard, while other retire,
remember if it was not for those who came before us,
who started the fire.....

...Our responsibility is to keep the flame going. When Our Generation can take over the nation....The world shall be saved.

Blessed To Meet the Wind

Blessed was I to see the wind
And yes, I felt her breath.
Her beauty held me spellbound
to dream of unto death.
She pranced lively never to trace,
her ivory face was carved from grace.
She could not understand our kind,
or of our fate, to her be blind,
but lessoned me in modesty
and lasting glee of feeling free.
She granted me a dance afloat,
above white clouds in skies remote,
showing the slightest glimpse to me
of constant motion, God’s decree,
to cherish all my days.

Broken Love

When I first met you I was so in love with you.Every text every call would make my heart bounce off the walls. But my heart broke when I saw you awoke with a differant girl and a whole new differant show.My tears would last for days and my friends would try to save the day.But the waves took me away on this long journey I choose to take.True love is only there when both people truely care. This is a lessoned learned for having my turn.At love that flows like the ocean goes.

Missing You

I wish you were here to talk to me.
But you're gone now.
So all your advice is thoughts you see.
You were the one I came to when I neeeded advice.
And i always listened though sometimes you told me twice.
I don't know what to do anymore.
When food is being cooked.
There is no little knock on my door.
Since you have left me, life has been so hard.
Sometimes if I sit long enough.
I think of the things you did, that caught me off gaurd.
Its funny how you never realize how much you really miss someone.
Until one day when you really need them
and you call but then remember that they are gone.
Another lessoned learned.
i'm glad my last words were nice.
I miss you Darnell.
I'm glad you have lived a good life.

From Time To Time, Now and Again

Time will lapse leisurely as it runs
On nimble legs through worlds unknown.
The moon is whole, the wind will still and
You can hear the whispers that they speak.
And when the hour is near
You will see,
As they forward and enter the scene.
A feeling of fear seduced by the night
That lingers in the betweens.
Was once a foe but now a new
This foes actions have been.
Foresight thwarted by a potent dream
And what was wrong is now right.
As they draw near with faces misplaced
All feelings and thoughts subside.
When they leave you understand
And time returns to the world.
Although, without a lessoned learned
It may just leave once again.
