The Lying Papers

The lying newspapers

To vote in Britain is a strange affair
since it is class-based, every class only read
what is of their interest,
doing the best to denigrate the enemies party leaders
but since the owners of newspapers are usually
right-wing the conservative party often wins.
There is an exception the Guardian can at time
the sound left-wing, but then they get cold feet and join
the shrieking of the right.
The popular press also called the gutter press destroy
peoples reputation, say “Corburn” an excellent politician
belonging to the left of the labour party.
What is scary is that working/class readers get influenced
by the constant lies and vote for a party
that is no good for them and the country.
This comes down to lack of education not being able
to read between the line and think independently.

The Russians Are Coming

The Russians are coming.

Picture this North of Norway it was early spring but still cold
but the days were longer, and the land was gripped by
the German army and their collaborators.
The Russian army came pushing the Germans south,
the German army tried the scorched earth tactic burning houses
and barns killing livestock, the people were hiding in mines.
The Russian army was seen as heroes, gave the starving people
food and shelter and the North were freed before the south.
The Russians didn’t linger which the deal was struck by
the USA and the Soviets.
After the war when the first election was held the communist
party won the north, which was understandable, but as time
went by and the atrocity of Stalin came to light people voted
for the labour party, but the sympathy of the soviets lingered.
This war is forgotten now; suddenly Russia is the enemy and NATO
troops are protecting the borders, from what?
But so is the politics of power, shifting alliances and the papers
to that should know better, is staunchly anti- Russian.

A True Red

This whole left V right is starting to get boring
The only honest one is Jeremy Corbyn.
They convince the old he can not lead
Judge him on his character i do plead.
Debts or the people is the last thing on their mind
Its about protecting their way of life I think you'll find.

Hated by the media and both sides of the house
He's stuck to his morals he's not a mouse.
With all the elites pressure he refuses to kneel
A touch of Cromwell I do feel.
Vote after vote the people they decided
Yet the labour party is still divided.
Money grabbing leaches like snakes in the grass
All puckering up to kiss Blair's ass.

A true Red this country does need
Jeremy Corbyn, someone for the people, someone who'll lead.
Please do not listen to the lies media tell
They sold their souls, they're going to Hell.
