DayShell

I can be, but have never been, iniquitous.

                   Trailing off
                      in
                 Endless gaze,

     A thousand-mile glare,

                 returned to
                    sender.

A hundred-thousand-kilowatt smile,

                  in repugnant
                         desire.

    Frigid Rocky Road
  and World-Class Chocolate
            companions.

Held,
          suspended
    abreast,

One-hundred-and-nine-degree
                         heat.

This rotten,
         vicious,
             and offensive prohibition
             persists.

      One must die
                  for the next to exist.

Premium MemberKnotty

half smile of caged concealment
Mona Lisa like, kindling desire
awash in pixelated illusion
your dark dreaming eyes preserving secrets
the glow of an image, layer by layer

my wish to un-knot the shifting shape form
with its unknown gravity
a stance
painfully inscrutable

till your voice, dusky, breathy
washes over me like smoke
reassuring in a kilowatt smile
telling me our lives unfinished
                  are an art installation
                  ongoing
                  knotty
that rarely fit effortlessly into the scheme of things
your repose
my white knuckle ride

Driving Through West Texas
By Franklin Price
05/15/2022

I was driving through West Texas
When per chance this sight did see
A hundred non-rotating windmills
That were looking back at me

Not a wisp of wind was in the air
Not a kilowatt was grown
Out among them were some oil wells
Pumping black gold all alone

I thought of how ironic
Was this power that we need
Maybe we should fly up high
And sow some needed windy seed

Or maybe we should study
On to how to make the oil clean
Then we could afford to drive again
Through this ironic sight I've seen

Wanted to stop and take a picture
But I could not pause my drive
I was past before I knew it.
I was cruising eighty-five

Corrosional Clam Creates Calm

Talismanic turbans trade togas. How great. Short grin large grin. Big beam. And now an elephant in baggy trousers dancing. Peachtree waving. Chutney calling. Tantric trade. Tanks. Till not a tailor. Traditionalists trumpeting. One six zero. And a purple patterned silk cloth. Rice dance then. Kilowatt jewels. Oooh sparkly. Good. Hahahaha green relish. Hahahaha many many many many turrets. Xxxx Adriatic sea. *** corrosional. Z

Random Four

The fundamental importance of knitting needles is to click click click and create many instructed patterns to place on and around torsos. But should a large two kilowatt bee arrive it will be time to move swiftly. Relying upon a beak is akin to lying down in a bed of curly fries. Both have huge similarities so it is much better to sleep in a spotty sponge cake. Nigerian politicians laugh and eat from combed money cakes. But hopping hippo burps to release a tsunami in a water hole. Warnings then. Empires. Emperors. Exempt from all bill paying duties. How like a quaintly decorated crystal duck. How akin to a crystalized drinking vessel. Always avoid an ego of an elephant or a potato. Pointing a pin at a bud. Ignoring the wishes of producing manufacturing pea people is unwise. Goblets go. Gratuitous wishes of gravy. Ink is a derived and fathomed idea. Leading to a rambling playlist of a number of male and female anarchists who aspire for change and alteration using vril. Utility united unison unity xxxx

A Prayer

Lord give me strength to hum
Even in the storms
Lord give me grace
When I do not have lace
And when all else fails
Still be the one who unveils
Still take my heart
For your power cannot be measured in kilowatt
Let me be the reflection of your glory
So when I begin my story
My once upon a time
Where I'm Ella without a dime
I'll end my song grateful
Cause all you are is faithful
This is me saying thank you
Cause all you've ever been is true
