Burden

A load of unfixed weight,
We ourselves sum up or rate,
Sometimes pegging it to a kilogram,
Under lesser stress to a gram;
Either a chosen or entrusted role:
Office with files taller than a pole …

Going ahead to father another baby
Which one must not skip in budgets not the lady
Plus Grand Pa long roaming The Earth,
Not wanting to end a Methuselah Birth!

More burden fixing back enemies’ sandals
Than fending off neighborhood vandals,
A gown releasing to a hated sister
Than a dozen to an outsider, a mister;
A lingered chat having with the proud
Than one’s way elbowing though a crowd!

Premium MemberRhubarb - Simply the Best

Having lived out in the country
when I grew up near a farm
in our large garden, we grew rhubarb
large stocks of it, big as my arm

My mother made loads of it
we called it stewed rhubarb
left it to cool before entering fridge
then have a bowl of it with custard

Since these childhood days
I've always loved it so much
but shops don't have it often
so expensive now so rarely touch

Sometimes now have it for breakfast
putting it on top of my Special K
pouring milk upon it so very lovely
it gets me started right for the day

It's a funny thing tasting rhubarb
I don't like it at all as a jam
but really love it so well stewed
just don't eat it by the kilogram!

(One of my favourite dishes is a bowl of stewed rhubarb especially at breakfast with Special K)

Premium MemberMilligram Or Million

Milligram or million
Kilogram or billion
For the millionth time
Please pay me one thin dime
I do not know math you see
School was no good for me
So all these terms are the same to me.
Milligram or million

Selfies, Thoughts and Skintight Jeans

Posts on my Facebook Page
Done when I feel undone
In the middle of a nuptial night rage
In no way invite predators into my zone.

Selfies sent in moments of excitement
Admired in my mirror
Invite no corny comment
From minds assailed by error.

Thoughts caught on Instagram
In no way suggest hopelessness
In pound, ounce or kilogram
Though I’m entitled to tithes of listlessness.

Skintight jeans I wear
When it tickles my fancy
Don’t mean my subscription to indignities I swear
Nor do they signify my tenderness for truancy.

Premium MemberThe Candygram

One fine day Abraham
Wanted to send a candygram
All the way to Amsterdam
Sweets ad nauseam
Weighed by kilogram
All he could cram
In a huge box stamped with a monogram

This is the price said Ma’am
What’s wrong need a diagram
Abraham was in a jam
Had no cash felt like a ham
Meeker than a lamb
Thought he better scram
Postpone the candygram

Bad credit is debit card’s anagram

Spread Salt - To Trouble, There Is An Opinion

Spread salt - to trouble, there is an opinion.
What big a nonsense. You must not worry.
Spread cocaine a kilogram, which cost a million,
The one, that the bandits gave you for a storage.

My Dearest

Sometimes its bottled up
And hidden deep inside
I have no friend beside my paint brush
I have no life beyond these blank pages
my brushes,
my pen,my blank pages
Are all that i have
Every inch of power
Every kilogram of strength
Lies within these bristles
Beyond the borders of these pages
lies nothing related to me
If I step outside them
I become suicidal

Vampire Dog

The day is slowly moving towards the end
But the sunset instead of orange is of blue golden blend
This land once was to Dutch settlers lend
It is the only thing that from continent of Mu has remained

The hunter walks through the forested site
The moon appears since now came the night
Suddenly appears a creature nine feet long but its width is only slight
It lifts his demonic blue eyes that are eerie sight

Its ghostly features are visible in moons light
The two hundred fifty kilogram beast is ready to fight
The speed of its elastic gate is enough to give the bravest hunter a fright
The roar is like hundred thunders echoing in the night the eyes are shining bright

The beast has long legs it is tall but not very wide
The hunter throws spear at its rhino like hide
But the spear bounces off and falls to the side
The canine teeth are shown off with bad intentions and pride

The vampire like dog is eight feet tall
He is like beyond abstract beyond surreal from a point of view of the essence of the soul
He gives his dreadful but enchanting call
Then he disappears beyond tree wall

Premium Member- A Cake For All My Friends -

I want to bake a cake for all my friends
A cake that will tell you what I feel
The first to be mixed in is understanding and compassion
                         Afterwards, a tablespoon of faithfulness
                                      A pound of sorrow
                           One kilogram of sweet delights
                                        A little laughter
                                        Just a few tears
A cup of patience and a lot of smiles
Then I put up a good thought
                                and some words of comfort
Eight to ten warm hugs and a kiss
                                        Share a secret
Mix everything together and make a friendships cake
Bake at 25 degrees in sunshine for ever and ever with love
Finally, I rub a lot of sun cream with UV - filter on

Santa's Surprise

SANTA'S SURPRISE

Santa Claus stripped off his beard and red suit
And left the show in the officers’ mess
Pulling the last tiny pieces of cotton wool from his stubbled chin
As he ran to his position

At the end of the starboard bow catapult of the Carl Vinson
Eighty feet above the stormy grey Arabian Sea
He watched as far off down the flight deck
The final touches manoeuvred the F22 into the cradle

Its ordnance today a hundred kilogram fragmentation device
For a rebel bunker in Afghanistan an hour’s flying time away
A surprise delivery for them;
The salt wind whipped the last cotton from his face.

Then his thumb pressed the green all-clear button
Engine screamed to maximum and the catapult released
The flying load into the grey sky. Another successful delivery.
He checked his area of the mechanism after the aircraft blurred past

And hurried back inside to finish his Christmas dinner
Merry Christmas Santa, they all yelled as he came in again.

Live Again

Live Again

The wind swept thru my window,
Voices carry with it,
A sparrow,
True to being.
Grey skies gray,
Derived,
Absorbed dose,
Absorption of 1 joule,
A kilogram.
A telegram,
For who I am,
What am I?
Am I,
Dust in the wind,
Again we begin,
A chance at life,
Destruction, clumsy,
A pillar, lost,
In the middle.
Follow not who you see,
But those lost like you.
Absorb life in the air,
Underground.
This way you see all,
When you don’t see.
Destiny calls,
Desperado,
Acid rain fill my vein,
Float to the sky.
Dig deeper yet,
For the truth is deeper than you think.
When you lie face up in the sun,
Your back is not burned,
Burn baby burn.
Dance in the rain,
Live again,
For what is life, but living?
