.

       from thuh straps draping
               hern shoulders
                   it's linen
            flowing unto hern
           hip's limb'z tramp's
                     digits
                 mine eyne
                   roam'd

       it's soft blueberry drape
                  outlined
                 hern taut

            mine unwrap'd
                 Frenetic

               thuh sylph
                her eyne
                  almost
           exophthalmous
                 her lips
                trembled
           az aft her dome
                 flump'd

             hern grateful
        echo'd through thuh
                  forest

Padraig was a talented man

stroked the harp in sack-cloth kaftan

blew tin whistles sweetly

sang harmony completely

now immortalised on a Guinness can

she split down her kaftan down the middle

spread hips imagination and playful foreshores

lay down on the beach and listened to the waves

at first the sand ground at her passion but soon

the salt of the ocean moistened appetite for more

as she sailed on ebbs flows and pleasure let free

her lover joined at mid-riff played with her pearl

anchored on their pulsating coral reef of delight

the stroboscope of a lighthouse pointed the way

erect near a beach hut of drift wood and starfish

shadows applauded uncensored communal rapture

until drift spilled ripples and spray into the waft

motionless they remained at the tide line of joy

imagined a wild fire roaring way into the night

retold their story and rejuvenated their dreams

Poverty

Sighted I a muddy cottage that stand erected not on earth Ready to collapse with the help of a very kind heavy wind

Through it cracked walls I saw the family that conserved using the language of hunger And their children befriended the crying

The day has knocked through their souls With vacant stomach like ravenous rat In search of morsel they move to and fro

They screamed for help to the devil and evils Who's was listed not in their menu and charity is no longer in existence

They swims in the ocean of misery And has painted their souls for a morsel they may loose their souls Surrounded by un pitiful riches

Ignominy is the kaftan they worn They forgot that poverty is insanity not
But They abhored to lulls their souls

Oh! this souls together we shall foster and bring them succour Not became like eagles and faunas Who only knows their family and friends

I met a Muslim family living down the road,
And I thought they’d be different in every kind of way.
But in the mornings they just wake up, get dressed,
Feed the cat, and they do this every single day.

Beside them lives a retired Jewish couple, two cars and a dog,
Their son had moved across town.
Their son moved in with an African woman
Who wears her kaftan, and head dress with a gown.

And the family run shop down the corner,
With the friendly Asian guy always ready for a chat.
That’s where I met the Brazilian theatre performer,
And she invited me to her show called “Acrobat”.

At the gig I sat beside an Egyptian guy,
He was so in awe just like he was holding his new born.
He was there with his French lover,
And we all talked and laughed and shared some popcorn.

It turns out everyone I met in life from every cultural hub,
Has the same desires, wants and needs.
It’s the politicians spreading hate and fear to exclude,
And regular folk planting the inclusive seeds.

Duped

Really its painful,
To let it go, go and cry,
Its uncertain that there’ll be another chance,
To make it wide,
No it ain’t right to cry foul,
I cry for when I fail,
To sigh on the faults I have,

Trailing behind the crowd,
I see the sight…..
And still they blame me,
Even if I wasn’t there…..
To whine and go? Nope I will mess
Shutting the windows closed,I see,
I know,
I have to offer a kaftan,
And later be given alms.

The good service we share,
It’s nigh to reign……
I cry a little and I let it go,
Seemingly out of track,
Say it over again,
I’ve been thrown to the scavangers,
And now I see it in your mind,

Give me your time,
Then we’ll wiggle,
Shawty I’ll get you along my freaks,
I shall set you free,
Don’t gramble for nothing,
But I see it gone.
You see,I have been dumped,
The pain is in me.

A Carpet Seller and Dali Lama

The Carpet Seller and Dali Lama

The carpet seller in Cascais is tall wears kaftan and his ebony
face looks as a relief of an Egyptian Farao…. Carries his carpets
on his forearm (like an offering) and show to tourists who sit
drinking cold beer at pavement cafes. When they ask how much
he quotes a price impossible high for his worn rugs, to be sure
no one buys because he doesn´t want to sell them. He just like to
walk around, it is his ways, when tired he sits on a bench folds
the rugs on his lap dreamily stroke them and smiles.
Where he goes when it rains I don´t know, perhaps he has got
a room somewhere, a bed, a book shelf and a postcard from
Senegal pinned on the wall. I noticed he wears solid boots as
Dali Lama does when flying around the world meeting famous
people, giggles and says simple things about life and freedom.
The carpet seller is not going home he has become a colourful
part of the townscape, and Dali Lama will not see Tibet again

Just For Your Mind's Thoughts

Summers day
a picture of a thatched house with all it's glow
arch way's filled with mother natures bloom's

rose's that trail for as far as the eyes can see

red's,yellow's,pink's,White's,purple's,

fresh cut grass so sweet to the summer's smells

a plane humming so ever peaceful,

blue bell's and daffodils that dance to the soft wind's blow
wheat field's so golden to the look
flowers with such grace that stand there place

see summer's so beautiful for my love to see

my kaftan lady .. the nightwalker 24Th October 2010

The Kaftan Lady

To all things beautiful that's to you

for your reflection will never fade away

for my loneliness will always stay

for my heartache and lust will always be forever gray

for the forbidden love is you

for the passion is so forever new

for the clouds will cry for my heart will die

Lost Heart

why did you push me away

you promised my you would stay

the clouds are so forever gray

oh for where is that beautiful day my heart lost for my hand are broken

my mind thinks no more

for the lady of the kaftan look i will write something in my book

so please help my hands of love heal

please take away my heart of stone

for i don't want to be alone

Aglarim Arkamdan

Ben sensiz yabanci her sey hayatta
Durur doner canim sila tasinda.
Sorarlar yeniden nasilmiyim ben.
Yazim cizgim gururum onurum.

Aglarim arkamdan dostlar mendilim.

Kefenim nakislanmis toprak bicilmis kaftan.
Ucarmiyim umidine cocuklugum omrum ruyam.
Doganin bir yudum nefesi tinsiz hayat kuresi .
Kopursem volkan olsa ofkem yasarmiyim yeniden .

Aglarim arkamdan dostlar mendilim

Dogarmiyim senle yeniden martilarin kanatlarinda.
Acan yildiz cicek basucumda yatarim adanin sehitliginde.
Gorgemli basim hasret askima yagmur olsa bedenim kaybolsa toprakta.

 Aglarim arkamdan dostlar mendilim
