Santa's Workshop

The meandering cobblestone path,
Dotted with holly, brushed with laurel blush,
Led me to an opening — silent, spellbound.

I thought Santa’s magic lived afar,
Yet here it glimmered, close and clear.

In twilight’s glow, red and green interplayed,
Gold and silver showed the way —
Candy canes, wreaths, and mistletoe,
Stars and ribbons, warm hearts aglow.

The wooden toys in stacks so neat,
The mushroom stools — in red they gleam,
Santa himself, in pomp and cheer,
Giving a tour of his workshop dear.

Christmas vibes one can soak,
Christmas aura the place radiates,
Christmas cheer makes the heart aglow,
Christmas faith one cherishes and creates.

THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived

Kindred Spirit

I feel the fiber of our lives,
the intertwining threads of our existence,
     like weavings on a loom,
       join together.
As if made of the other's own fabric,
our life stories play in and out
             of
                   each
                            other,
like repeated patterns,
interplayed between us.

See the light, the empowering red light
Covering our bodies it does imbue
Orange, yellow caress my every sight
Dusk at its best surrounding our delight
Clouds impose beauty, coalescing you
The sliver of the moon imparts with might

The North Star shines brightly in the night sky
Where dusk just slightly starts to fade away
Surely the intriguing night does imply
Clouds fly through as we breathe in its essence
Now turned silver and nearing dark I say
Dusk is a memory in our presence

See the light, the empowering red light
The North Star shines brightly in the night sky

Unaware

She leaned closer whispering,
An ease, almost an invitation
Companionship offered?
Bits, pieces of words visible
Question unanswered
Simple fresh gift, honesty
Conveys a message
Simple and profound
Her hand slowly moved
Brushed her shoulder, a glance
Outlined smooth supple back
Glowing velvety soft skin
Shadows interplayed on draped hair
Complementing, softly placed
Unaware, gently moving
Her scent drifted
She was unaware of it.
