Indiscretion Poems | Examples

incapasitated indiscretion

I don't like anyone, especially you.
Some are still up in the clouds, next to you.
My eyes avert you, down on my knees
Drink till I ache, ditsy-stole
knock on the red door
I don't even like you,
against the wall
I kiss you until our lips are bruised
No-"take a shot"
"Just one more"
Isn't that what you came here for?
I see a face in the window
Stranger in the mirror
it is just a cig
drunk dance on the roof-
with you.
I thought I didn't like you
you're on my
your body sinks around mine:
places it doesn't belong.
I wish I didn't like it.
I wish it wasn't you.

Once dastardly acts
become as facts.

We cannot change
or rearrange.

They’re in our past
to forever last.

We live with regret
trying to forget.

Filled with distress
to God, we confess.

Though we relive
God does forgive.

One wild happy-go-lucky senryu
Was caught impersonating a haiku
They levied no fines
But removed two lines
Now she's a stick-in-the-mud monoku

The Spider : Midwife To the Afterlife

My web’s a lonely place to be
For no one likes to visit me

No one who comes here wants to stay
Yet neither will they go away

I really can’t imagine why
A friend (for life) will pass me by

Unless, of course, it’s indiscreet
That everyone I meet … I eat

Sam's Last Indiscretion

I saw her comin', guitar a hummin,
An' a smile on her face lit up the night
I said,"My you're pretty, but this ain't the city -
You're ridin' alone an' travellin' light."

She said,"That I am an' his name was Sam,
An' I caught him with some red haired floozie.
Gave his keys a toss an' forgot the loss -
Went to the bar an' had me a doozie."

Well I liked that tale an' since I'm a male
I offered to help however I could.
She laughed real low, said, "Wherever I go
I can always find some cowboy who would."

She smiled,"No thanks",then slapped the pony's flanks
As she rode off into the pitch black night.
I sat on my hoss and pondered this loss,
An' wondered at her travellin' so light.

Out of the dark came a dog with a bark,
An' a sheriff with a frown on his face.
Said he'd come far for a gal an' guitar
For she'd shot old Sam in a mortal place.

Well,I said,"No, - I didn't see her go."
An' was thankful she hadn't stayed the night.
He had no clue what that woman could do
While playin' guitar an' travellin' light.

Proclaim thee a Lady?
Oh, they of ignorant mind
Neither good or bad, but human, this man
Vexed of own passion, o' cunning love
Keep'st eyes blinded of all thy own wisdom and trust
Lest eyes well-seeing thy lady's foul faults shall find
Thy woman of past indiscretion, hath scarlet ribboned veins
Unknowing from whence cameth thou, she
Fancy fleeting bird be now belied
Wilt he never see her feathered locks, promiscuity?...
How boldly foolish is his name!
That on himself such murd'rous shame commits
What haste and wile steals thy seasoned eye?
Yea, who tamed the sea, yet drowns in thee?
While wed to one, yet flys away
Against tongued wrath, society
Against cruel slander of thy fame
Against the wind, self dignity
Fancy fleeting bird wilt you, fly on scalded wings
With scandal your offerings
Till own death near, to die in shame 'tis worth the game?
To shun the heaven that leads a man to hell?

Indiscretion of Our Intrusion

Running inbetween
Broken yous
And bronken mes
I'm trying to pretend
That we are none of
These

We are the new
The abused
The hidden
The viewed

Lapping up on
Precieved faces
And precieved cases
I'm trying to pretend
That we are more than
These

We are the old
The sold
The found
The bound

Stopping in
Lost yous
And lost mes
I'm trying to know
That we are any of
These

We are the known
The stoned
The able
The labeled
