My Journey My Life

M- Memorable memories of my life I have, some are good and some are bad.
Y- Young and innocent I was, that was great memoirs of my past.

J- Joyfully as a prankster back then, I had so many friends.
O-Ordinary mundane life was boring, I was an adrenaline junky.
U- Underdog of my siblings, I was not welcome in their company.
R- Relationships with my friends was ok for me, they were my family.
N-Never a dull day in my life, every opportunity was extraordinary.
E-Exceptional scholar at school, although some teachers I took for a fool.
Y-Young and restless years were great then I made the worst mistake.

M-Married at a young age and endured every time a husband raged.
Y-Yearning, back for my carefree life, especially when I thought I would not survived.

L-Life threw many curve balls at me, most of the time I was unhappy.
I-Independency was gone, I was married to an evil spawn.
F-Fight or flight I had to choose, or my life I would lose.
E-Eureka!! I build a new life for me, I am happy at least.

Premium Member Happy Birthday Usa

Happy birthday USA!
From your birth until today,
You have come a long, long way.

Two hundred forty-five years ago,
The U.S. was birthed in rebellion's pride,
Declaring independency from King George's rule.
Freedom from tyranny would not be denied.

From thirteen states we have grown to fifty,
Through extensive exploration,
Battles fought, purchases,
And fierce determination.

Through the years we became
A leader among the nations.
We've been a beacon of hope,
To those filled with desperation.

I pray that we will stay the course,
Of freedom and justice for all.
May God continue to bless this land,
Because without Him we will fall.

Happy birthday, USA!
May God give us wisdom to guide our way,
And forgive us when we go astray.

I remain motivated to subsist my presence amidst no regrets,
Nevertheless, this implies my shadow that ages hence begets,

I appreciate it obeys me amidst enough dynamic passion,
Ergo, this remains irrelevant unspecified acts of digression,

Because this implies the enthusiasm from my heart that it shields,
As remaining controlled every day within amber wheatfields,

Drives my psyche placed divided somewhat wedged discord,
One soothing touch is proffered amends transpire my reward,

Consequently my limbless crippling, towards blinded and muted,
Faint to teases, sightless to exploitation, rash being viewed,

There's an extraordinary bandage concerning this hidden me,
Regarding this while implemented it embraces most tenderly,

Empowers my fortitude, and encourages my girth--it rises,
So the fakers, bogus makers, sham friends in disguises,

My heart is all I require, for I walk, touch, hear, and see,
My heart, my friend, my complete INDEPENDENTLY.

Anthem For An Introvert

A fitting anthem for
an introvert like me-
Simon & Garfunkel's
scrumptious harmony
of “I Am A Rock”
spoke oodles to me
in its painful poignancy
bouncing buoyantly
on declarations
of independency
needing no one
utterly free
encased in fortress castle
with books and poetry

I was a rock, an island
a party of three
just I, Myself, and Me

Until he came along
and proved me somewhat wrong
as icy waters receded
I found that he was needed
an “island” no more-
I became a sort-of peninsula
with somewhat rocky shores

Yet, sometimes I still hum it
or belt it right out loud
“I Am A Rock”
ever my anthem
away from the peopled crowds!

Mère

The way she combs her fingers through her hair is captivating;
She always checks herself in the mirror before work to make sure her hair’s align and makeup’s ideal.
She couldn’t go one day without my palm in hers;
The way our skin brushes against one another's like a paintbrush gliding across a canvas makes her piercing, blue eyes glisten with joy.

I could never be like my mother;
Her effigy floats above my head, for she is poised.
She’s never able to confide in anyone else because her soulmate made her think otherwise.
Oh, but my mother lives her life off independency.
Whether or not she has her one true love to awe at her beauty or to reply with “i love you too”.

Altruism is what she’s always taught me.
Self-love is nothing but a void to me because I care about the disapproval of these mortals surrounding me.
Yet, she doesn’t, she never will.
An optimist, she is,
But I...I could never be like my mother.

Premium Member Happy Mothers Day

Dedicated to my mother, poetess of Poetry Soup that are mother and to all the mothers around the world:

An angel in Earth who watches for her son or daughter in their childhood, leading with her advices to the right path, take care or his or her when is sick, helps in the scholar assignments, in the teenager years, sees that her son or daughter is not a child any more, not an adult yet, worrying about that the incipient feelings of independency turns to make wrong decisions. In the early adulthood, a new stage with the college years, a young adult emerges. Later on in life, son or daughter marries to start his or her own family or moves to his or her own house. Then, in many cases, arrive the granddaughters or grandsons to compound a new generation.

In the day that is recognized your neverending labor as mother, applaude the abnegation that mothers brings to her daughters or sons, since their birth until the last day of her in this planet. God bless you all.

If There Be

You need not say
You need not ask
There is to be no more ways
Where everything begins to never last

With without effort
Ever lasting sacrifices unheard
An input without outlet
Chasing a dream without a single word

So much is meant never to mean
So much was understood to misunderstand
If there be a clue there’ll be no hint
If there be words, no messages were sent

And it hurts to feel so vulnerable
When you know its your life never your own
An independency explicitly dependable
When the known you know remains unknown

I need not say
I need not ask
There is to be no more one way
Where everything has a beginning to outlast

Lilies of the Universe

Look at them carefully
Look at them as they grow colorful
Look at them as they strive for
independency
Look at them as they distinguish
themselves from others

Breathtaking scenery
Beautifying our lives
Adding a meaning into our lives Because
of them we live a purposeful lives
Bundle of joy is what they are
Like a bunch of roses in special person's
hand
Like a bouquet on the bribes hand The
feeling is indescribable

Having one does not stop craving for more
Having many does not mean you have
more if you still need more
Children, let us care for them more and
more
Children are the lilies of the universe

Lessons For Life

Reflect on this, the teacher said
We’re on this earth until we’re dead.
So while we’re here don’t wait for fame
Or any monetary gain
With knowledge and some common sense
You’ll find financial recompense
For information is the key
To gaining independency
So sit up straight and please take heed
I’ll give you everything you need
To steer you through your doubts and fears
Until your last remaining years
And as you cross lifes troubled seas
These lessons learned will aid and ease
Your path and help you find your way
Now that is all I have to say
So face the front and look at me.
We’re going to learn our A B C

Birds and Bees

Brings expansion to life in style and grace,
Independency destroys affectionate lace.
Reality of dual sponsorship, nature’s base,
Delivers such beauty in everyone’s face,
Securing the future of a perpetual place,

All aspects of life and death take time.
Not to be stopped, for it would be a crime.
Directed in circles each one a new prime,

Birds, bees, animals, even humanity and trees,
Each one has procreation, as well in the seas.
Explaining it is difficult among many degrees.
Sincerely, life would end, without each of these.
