Imagine the ocean waves rolling in
seabirds gliding away with a red sun
a warm evening breeze
causing clouds to spread
the hands of lovers warmly held
as they walk along the pebbled sands
to watch the daylight meld into the sea
leaving footprints to flee with each joyous stride
beneath a wide black sky of starlight and moonglow
to wash across an incoming tide
the beauty of it all causes their eyes to cry
when the wings of their dreams
lift them wondrously high
filled with images of soulful bliss
as their hearts are duly wed, their joy is fed
by a single rose held in their hands
inviting a kiss, that was imagined
when they walked upon the ocean sands

INCOMING--
Lord above be my only love;
I come from above, I need you ;
Always...
And God I love,
I thank you for life;
Oh, it's in you that I
Son of God
Filled with love
Mercy grace you've provide;
Unworthy am I;
As I do try;
To repent to save my soul;
Father God;
People find it odd;
That I praise an invisible Lord;
But upon my last breathe;
Just before death;
In an instant I'll be in His arms;

At mid of night my memory stirs,
My Heart pounds Incoming heard!
So
Loud; so many- God; will ever end,
Shoulder to shoulder dug deep in
Our
Promise given before brothers fall
Silence- incoming heard it's hell.
An
Oath taking changing one’s life,
Help us God; through this night.
Then
Night would come straight out hell,
Sounds with site as brave man fell,
So
For what" was ask, for what you see”
For you we say, for our democracy”
For you we came, for you we fail,
Far from home, in this living hell;
At mid of night memory’s still stir,
Then silence- Incoming… heard!

Dreaded words.
Raining particles of death.
No place to go.
Out of time.
Many broken.
Hear the horn,
ringing aloud,
for the dead.
Cross of life,
rushing to aid.
Mangled bodies,
twisted, tangled.
Bleeding through,
bleeding out.
Pressure here,
bandage there.
TQ's all about.
Ready, set, lift,
straining to load.
Rough road.
Cash arrival.
Off load.
Cutting, sewing, splinting,
striving to survive.
Failure.
Plunging into darkness.
Fallen angels,
going home,
in an ebony box,
draped with the
Colors of Freedom.
