He went on the rap sheet as Shakespeare, Will
And in mitigation he simply said, ‘Nil.’
Male escorts earned plenty
He’d charge half of twenty
They nicknamed him ‘Ten Dollar Bill.’

Premium MemberOn a Chain I Wear a Cross

On a chain - I wear a cross.
Around my neck I do.
I don’t wear it to say, “I Am”.
I don’t wear it for you.

For me - it’s now a symbol of compassion and humility
and the world’s need for love.
It's a cry for a peaceful existence
just like the symbol of the dove.

When I was young - I often went to church.
It was a place my parents brought me to.
For I was baptized Greek Orthodox
therefore - an expectation of what I must do.

There - many things made sense to me.
Now some did not, and don’t.
But I learned to not be bothered
by inaccuracies and the unexplained – I said I won’t.

In my later years - I searched, felt, and realized the mystical
in the one God I believe exists.
And in the plants, the animals, and of course humans too
I discovered a spirituality that subsists.

My beliefs - might now be complex.
Some might say they do not fit a norm.
As I read about other religions and the spiritual world
I ultimately went through a reform.

Today - I occasionally go to my Orthodox Church
to pray in a place of sanctuary, where they say God does reside.
To fulfill a never ending need to learn and understand
and to still a rather busy mind.

Incriminations bolster theories
pestered by daily
salutations, delusions
sanctimoniously intensified
by the written word

Your philosophy exculpates
delirium while triumphs
wisk away irremediable
suppositions that defy logic.
Hypocrisy appears delineated

with confused ramifications.
Cerebrum and Cerebellum
transpose inaccuracies into
soft, sweet music to the soul.
Artistic creation utilized

to succumb basic instincts
with craft: skills of
evasion and deception
manifest themselves in
your daily realm as you
deliver time's desires.

Forever - Charmed

I started watching Charmed - when it first came out.
That I fell in love with it - there really is no doubt!
I believe it called out - to my Spirituality!
Time and time again - it brings me so much glee!

I almost gave it up - when Prue Halliwell died!
And yes - I admit it - on that episode I cried!
But curiousity got the best of me - so I went on to season four.
I'm so glad I did - because it offered so much more!

The Producers did a lot of research - but added fiction too.
The inaccuracies in the show - are minor and just a few.
I must be addicted - because I have all the seasons numbering eight.
It's like I'm drawn to it - maybe even by fate!

If you're ever at my house - come over and take a look.
Because I can even show you - many a Charmed book!
I even know some of the lines - of the show by heart.
From this series - I know I'll part!

People that know me - sometimes get quite alarmed!
That after all this time - I keep going back to Charmed!
They don't understand - that this show brings me so much pleasure!
And to me it is - most definitely - a unique kind of treasure!

Footnote: My second favorite TV series is "Leverage".

Myth

A myth and a fable can be found on a table. When an old man does look in an ancient book. Dragons and periodic charts do not mix. But historical inaccuracies a horse with wings can fix. Flee flee flee little mice. For that watering hole will attract bison. Heavy bodies and lots of hooves. Oh dear. It is never to be said that the honest truth of a pillar in a dome is slated with a burning bushel. But when a bushel of faith is carried by either a sea maiden or a voyaging spring queen the time for flutists, piccolo players and harpists is rife. And turbans link to dance and jump, headdresses and bangles leap in feathered and clawed unison (circling), moon painted bodies of the tribal ones wave spears, and all is a united effort. All is a unison. Globally positioned. But no monetary aim. So take a mixing bowl and create two hundred and eighty-nine deserts on ten minutes. Great. Kiss then. Good. *** horticultural horse hoeing horizontally and a big sneeze from a teacup. Fantastic so clap clap clap. Monetization Z

Denominator

Behold the bold denominator!
extraordinary matters level off
and find the lowest trough;
so-called experts mingle
as they winnow fact from fluff.

Prophets' exclamations gone to dust,
totems crumble, metals turn to rust,
we try for clarity, a bitter pill
for those who trick with ambiguity,
and cause the truth to spill.

Avoid inaccuracies,
seek and hold a firm foundation,
exercise your p's and q's,
then will excellence be won,
the goal of true communication.

Google Apology

I apologize for sometimes being lazy
having written down a poem that now translates to google voice paging.

I grab my tablet and hit display but lack the desire
to traverse the keys with my index pointed finger.

I press the microphone for Google voice
which now translates only words it hears.

And on the screen appears inaccuracies of what I meant to say
as the stylus now must correct the flaws.

My thick fingers missed the word list
and enter some strange and unknown scrawl.

So, I apologize
for errors on display that strangely appear upon the poetry wall.

Positional

I play my position
Systematically,
Organically,
I see seconds tick away
as the structural DNA of the competition
frantically loses its matter by way of decomposition,
All living forms under a serious threat,
Environmentally and socially are very erratic emotionally,
Society is changing so fast like Clark Kent in a phone booth,
The cells of our future investments rapidly firing wildly
like the KKK trying to kill a ***** boy on an unlit night route,
There may be no return.

The nucleus of the situation needs stimulation
to continue to expand while watering its hand,
Cause the leaves may die and so goes the chlorophyll to this land,
The sun is our source of energy,
It’s a shame for the most part the inability
to develop any sort of synergy,
Leaving the constant back at step one,
Alone,
Wishing and subconsciously staring at the winning team,
The inaccuracies may seem too great for me to edit this composition,
I only wish to see change before my gradual deposition.

Pleasant Picture

Brush in hand I gaze at the scene
How can i paint, its beauty within.
How to interpret whats before my eyes
The amazingly beautiful sunrise.

The colours of orange and  red
The shape of the clouds  overhead
The insects going about their work
The buzz of bumblebee is oft misread

I wash the canvas with a pale hue
Adding the oranges and reds to merge
Carefully putting an insect or two
Standing back i observe

That nature can't be bought
By the inaccuracies of sight
Just a flat pleasant  picture
Is all that is achieved tonight.

~becalmed Beneath the Storm~

With shoe cast eyes
buried in inaccuracies of leather life lines,
and no cries to shatter walkmans sheath,
we traverse those macadam’s,
hoping to slip beneath
all the broken flowers that pray for sun,
as they wilt in the gutters
ignored by everyone.

No time to leave our tunnels
lest we slip between the cracks,
and show hope clinging to an outstretched hand
we have the very thing it lacks.

We see the stubble blurring beauty
as it burns across a once proud face,
a cardboard castle is all that remains
to hide away from our disgrace,

and we heed not the whispers
carried in headlines, window shop displays,
more content to bask in denial,
and wrap ourselves in bubbled protection,
than run the risk of this self-trial,
where a mirror shows how much we’ve sinned
and our eyes scream to our souls,
“you should listen to the wind.”

We Agree To Grieve--------------

We agree to grieve
against all inaccuracies
that you plant ,going awry all the time
to make us fall as preys to your planted ill fate

Your reddened eyes
will not frighten me my friend!
Your hard heart
and autumnal feel always –do--.

Practically you are a key doll
ready to play foul in some ones' hands.
Humanity is not there
to counter your criminal bent of mind
and you feel not faulty at your heart beats
when some of their hopes and desires
are soaked in blood –shed
showered by your splinter stricken bombs

Have you not heard the cries of a mother
Who lost her grown up children?
Have you not heard the bane
showered on you by the children
Who lost their bread earners?
all these will not go unrewarded
by a suitable punishment in days to come.

Let not your own people meet this type of ill fate
Today or tomorrow,in the similar kind of unhappy blasts
