Thankyou, Andrea. Glad you enjoyed my little ‘Muse gap’ filler. As for your revised gem for the ‘new’ contest… gave me a good chuckle so reckon you’re in with a shout. Terry

Thanks, Ilene. He’d probably be livid that I’ve besmirched his reputation… or maybe in 2022, I’ve enhanced it. Terry

It certainly is a limerick...and a good one at that and with a tenuous tie in to Shakespeare...BRAVO

Tenuous being the operative word, John. I might have used Bill Clinton but I’ve never heard him referred to as Will and I hate rhyming a word with itself… ie, Bill with Bill. So Shakespeare got the gig. It’s not widely known that Shakespeare took a gap year to explore the new world… honest guv… why would I lie? Ha ha, cheers, John. Terry.

Choc a block with historical and geographical inaccuracies… but it still made me chuckle. Glad you enjoyed, Jan. Terry
