Premium MemberVolcanic Eruption Of The Soul

Igneous rocks moltened, crystallized, solidified
rising towards the surface like a hot furnace
Volcanic activity of the soul, conundrum of the heart
rule out the mind and the body facilitates, erupts !

One transformative honest experience and we
arrive at a gestalt moment of truth, we are
both energies, ... "explosive and implosive"
filled with adroitness and clumsiness alike

Profound changes in ones individual essence
can be an awakening of great disturbance
Within the ring of fire, boundaries co-exist
illumination is feasible if it is undeniable !

Magnetic moments in the soul reinforced
through our dreams, hopes, and fears....
Owning both destructive and creative powers
our souls do make choices each and every day

Both volcanoes and souls contain openings
and when the day of reckoning is near
we either choose to lay dormant or explode
it all depends upon our soul's barcode...

Premium MemberSolipsistic

Though, a time ago, I thought you were a mystic
Turns out that your only real magic is your solipsistic
You think your a gift that's so explosive
But your deep as an acid shower; just corrosive
Once upon a someday, I might feel like I did before
I hope what rained that day is not lost; I miss the petrichor
That's it; I'm done being so hopelessly pessimistic
Re-manufactured are my thoughts by therapies implosive
Remove the plastic; I'm brand new as I walked out the door

Premium MemberIn Angry Protest

Self-mutilation a crushing despair
Helpless rage, no solace anywhere

Inner directed emotional surge
Urgent outlet, implosive urge

With self-awareness to your own self be true
Project not unto others what's shameful in you

Premium MemberA Wonderful Stigmata

To say one has loved
but lost...is to say one
has never loved; for
love is a wonderful
stigmata – an indelible
pressed upon the heart
of eternity, out-shinning
all lesser lights, even
those of heaven’s brilliant
while implosive stars –
love not only standing the
tests of time, but those
lesions of dimensions
separating hearts from
their immortal soul-bodies
boastful science stumble
over while poets
loyally reveal –

One does not simply love
but, in fact, becomes love –
the Pure Substance and Will
of God seamlessly woven
throughout His Creation,
a stitch never dropped
nor hole ever manifest
needing mending….

Hidden In the Hold

To bear with aplomb an existential
need to grieve unpurposed loss is unkind.
Enmesh in secret space and tragic thrall,
silver threads of death's hairsbreadth, small in mind...
So much improper placement now needed
to board up hidden pain's implosive thuds-
Footfalls on heart's walls now go unheeded.
And a slippery slope's where emotion's mud
drowns and buries sorrow's shuddered spats.
Feelings embalmed in cold- hearted reasons,
Tears' release now has no welcoming mat.
"For the best." Covers death in all seasons.

And yet grief's instinctive power to heal
becomes more powerful with freedom to feel...

Premium MemberOtherworldly Starry Sights

In the universe, before a star dies
 It goes through implosive pangs
In this realm a supernova lies
As the star goes out with a mighty bang

The resulting explosion causes a celestial storm
 And illuminates the galactic night
And then a nebula is formed
 A beautiful otherworldly sight

In our galaxy supernovas are rarely seen
Within our realm the moon must suffice
An earthly view much more serene
With a glow to enchant and entice

Premium MemberNuclear Family Issues

Might we be having trouble fusing nuclear energy,
as opposed to the more troubling nuclear fission's anti-energy,
because nuclear fusion is just normal everyday Business As Usual
cooperation of thermodynamically fusing nuclei?

Oh, I see,
like it's easier to notice you're having another nice healthy day
after you experience the divisive holon-caustic implosive alternative?

Yes dear.
Like visiting my lovely mother
and not your dreaded mother-in-law.

Premium MemberA Scream's Echo

A Scream's Echo
        by Odin Roark

How varied
How separate
These screams
Life's quiet
Sometimes boisterous
Identity

From inception's beginning
Screams heard
Screams swallowed
Screams thought of
But never exercised
Remain intrinsic
To existence

How gently we address the baby
How disciplinary our response to children
Shrieks of opposition grow their weeds
Uncontrolled they grow
Adults merely have more tools to hoe the threat
If they choose
If they choose

Take the horn for instance
What's man's phallic symbol on wheels
Without auditory drama?
A boom box without extraordinary BOOM?
A domestic squabble
Void of passion's bombastic voices?
Technology's insatiable appetite
without the wail of worker sacrifice?

Yes

Vibrations set in motion
Know no end
Canyons of escape
Become mere diversions from
Nightmare-enhanced slumber
Where inner implosive wave lengths
One's perpetual infant cry of why
Simply enhances dream's timbre
As we listen
But never expect to hear
The end

Until
The end

Needy Night

In needy nite
I pray the hardest,

as I walk
I am a cloud on the run,

a faceless gasp awaits
my every twist of the tongue-

it is here,
in the sun,

where we are rung,

when we are fun
and enjoyed in a lump some…

Being in heat is
such grave emotion-

such that I estrange from
just to be different,

to be alien,
in every absorbing encounter...

But the leak becomes pensive
the more I devour.

Being it monster or beast,
I define things in a shower,

because the later you start to lead,
the more you will scowl,

but at the dangerous dock,
I cower,

break nose,
and invent a stare,

doing it for the weed,
and for the pair,

family is walking and talking
but I remain out-there,

on drugs-
and totally bear.

So where to go-there?

On page, with glasses and hair?

It's 4:20 pm and I'm awake and infrared,

implosive, and scared
of catching a chair,
upside down,
with a nose and a stare-

will I or will I not be out-there?

Is the question to be impaired,

because now I have care,

for many years I have prepared-

...coming in a jump,

I am going to leap,

into the song,
and sing lead.
