Screwtape Letter to the Illiterate

Why do you elitist traitors do what you do?

Did you not read the back of the book to see who wins?

Do you really think that a created can overcome
the Creator who holds all things into being. Devils advocate, if I was God and lost,
I would destroy everything rather than hand it over
to evil.

Are you so frightened of Satan's lies
that you believe there can be no forgiveness
of your deeds?
I am still waiting for one of you with the integrity
to fall into hell with an "I was wrong',
(one last caress to humanity, manuscript),
exposing you all.

Did you not know that if you were to serve humanity instead of destroying it, then you would be given
the things you steal now out of sheer gratitude and respect.

Instead, you ally with one who doesn't esteem you.
Satan does not and will never consider you a friend.
He loathes you.
When he is finished with your services
he is going to take great pleasure in dragging you
into the smallest hole available.
He will torment you by reminding you that you
betrayed a God who loved you.

I feel that I am illiterate
At times I can’t get my words to fit
Am I stupid
A lost eyelid
Tired, I don’t think my mind can make it

My Illiterate Mother

A software to read and write is not installed
in my mom’s system.
We download pages of ignorance. Sometimes,
her monitor is blank.

Our neighbors wake up hearing the divine songs
from a rural temple,
when I jump up listening to the metal words
rattling in the kitchen.

She pours calumnies into the ear-buckets nearby
from her vast tank.
There are pores on her palms, and her liquid money
always leaks through.

My dad is often tossed on her tongue. Today
the sea is serene.
I hear the roar of some unnamed anxieties
from her white shell.

I grew up on her barren lap. My tap-root
went down so deep.
I resisted the droughts. Thanks, Mom. I owe you for
all my burning blooms.

Illiterate

lay you on a bed of roses
and show you all i knowses
sure you top it like a bow
but quiet for my broses
leave me coming back for more
watch as my door closes
waiting for you by the shore
poetry composes

Educated Illiterate

EDUCATED ILLITERATE
Tell me all what you know
And I tell you what you can’t show
You are all but a logical myth
For you are of no good deed

All you care is to bag the degree
But where have you kept your pedigree
Tell me all what you can see
And i will tell you, you are as selfish as a bee

Can you ever be humane and not empirical?
Why are you so concerned and so not classical?
My question may sure sound so rhetorical
But is sure and always practical

Premium MemberThe Illiterate Goose

In the field across from me,
a sign as plain as it can be.
“Oats planted for the birds”, I read.
The flying geese pay it no heed,
and spying a stand of winter wheat
they settle on that crop to eat.
It’s testament to the absurd
a farmer puts up a sign for birds.

Rolling down the windowpane
But it can write your name

I Am Illiterate

i am illiterate-
inconsiderate
scum. my blood
is running rum,
my tears are acid
leaving burns
down my face.
words curse, rapid
force of a mind
unlearned.

Illiterate Games Are My Favorite

Illiterate games are my favorite
I’d rather you don’t speak to me
In words whispered
Talk to me totally tacitly
You’re so cute when you’re quiet
