Cease and Desist

Your hoped for an aural jump
from commencement letters abroad
Your idealised viewpoint of the West
minus the 2.4 children,
and your multilingual approach
even German for extra flourish
inches in Deutschland for cumulative security,
I'm not interested in a Trans Asiatic Plains romance
Im a confirmed Bachelor
of 42 years standing,
I don't know how you got my email
But cease and desist
better concentrate on your own menfolk

Premium MemberFree To Roam

Love's vibes sneered at my sunken face
And bid me to hear, booming from the
Calling clouds, that what I had idealised about
Is in fact nothing else other than figments
Of my own imagination!

I breathed in my anguish
While the rising winds
Seemed to tell me
That I have now become a soul,
Who is free to roam in a world
Which can be beautiful
If lived with caution
But can be dangerous
If lived frivolously!

Fists clenched, I let the tears dry up
On my face and set my new destination
As the many lands found on the other side
Of the calm ocean's horizon!

And while roaming, I came across poets
Bearing the same mindset as I do,
All living to allow their inner oceans
To thrive in their freedom
And felt, at last, like I have hit home!

I have been roaming for quite a while
And I am overjoyed at the discovery
Of new cultures, new delicacies,
New savours, new dressing styles,
New forms of poetry and other writing styles,
New forms of arts, and even new forms
Of that power which we all call God!

And so far,
I regret not having been set free
And having been given the opportunity
To roam!

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Right Words

To be so big with the world at our fingertips
To be so small when the world cannot hear
What can be the right words for departing lips?
When the wrong words can only induce fear

Most times I rather want to speak my mind
Most times rather... I am reduce and will refrain
Till hidden questions shall fade with time
It’s a wonder truly... how well I maintain

I have always believed words to be powerful
Provided it be used in the right way and context
But what is right in order to be mindful?
Of words chosen for use to perplex

We all possess a power we cannot identify
Because we learn to seek approval and validation
Yet... if we do, it isn’t idealised
Leaving a worthy simpleton unable for socialisation

Perhaps too small for the world to ever hear
What I would’ve thought the world to be at at my fingertips
When words to me can only mean so innocent and dear
Need I with the right but have the wrong words departing my lips?

I Am Sorry

I expected you to walk away,
You walked towards
The forgiveness visible in your eyes
Not knowing the extent of my error
I fell apart; you held me.

We departed, silence never ensuing
Hope was flickering, its sparks ablaze
Our futures were in the distance
Your life and mine, would not part
I saw a chance; you saw it too.

Old memories, spurred on by a last
Words forgotten, restored again
Acceptance was present, known by both
My hand held a spoon, you allowed the familiarity
I loved you still; you knew its truth.

Fireworks burst bright before us
A new beginning for young souls, made old
We saw it as a sign, and believed its divinity
Your lips pecked mine, reciprocation was pure
I lived our idealised end; you felt the promise.

A moment later, the air gained mass
Your expression changed, I knew the conclusion
The truth was disguised, its effects apparent
I reached to console you, your hand reached for the handle
I fell apart; you left me.

The Day I Die

The day I die is when I see the light
my body lit on my pyre

my ashes one with stardust again
into the wind it blows away

and bones belonging to rocks and river
nothing to fear and nothing to hold dear

I would part as I came to whence I came
to the grand halls of my grand fathers and my brother

through hell fire no one to guide
The sorcery of life has been a misery

footloose escapades, where I misstepped
my own judgements have become my enemies

I have let myself suffer for those
who are not willing to walk into our lives

by building stories and unbroken bonds
in my heart in my own idealised dreams,

whilst I became nothing more than a passing cloud,
decomposing rust, and saw dust in their fading memories.

no hope even in the horoscopes
stars too are out for their vengeance

guardian angels have left their posts
gods have forgotten their beloved son

At the crossroads of choice
do I give in or do I give up

East Jesus

Assemblage and mixed-media arts,
imagine a world without a waste,
Salvation mountains, acrylic colourful carts,
Sculptures and installations put with taste,

Self assessment of the deep inside,
Freedom of expressions for all sarcasm,
Thoughts brighten up to everyone's pride,
Epitomising the world, creating a microcosm,

Vibrations of secret knots that bind the world,
Low culture high art, low technology high concept,
Radicalised self, idealised societal bird,
To fearless present, bold dreamers will perfect !
