Premium MemberVictors Survive

Victors survive in nature’s wild.
Protectors are most determined.
Mother Bear needs fish for her child.
Victors survive.

The strongest, biggest, hungriest,
does not always win the food chain.
Love and caring make the smartest.

Females in the wild fight others
in protection of their young cubs.
A loud male growl scares no mothers.
Victors survive.

What Never Changes After An Illusion

If happiness was all we wanted...
what changes after an illusion
that seemed real when lips kissed
and didn't wait for a revelation?

Was the rush to feel the hands
all over the body while eyes
where shut tasting sensations slowly?
who really was the hungriest one?
Who wanted to scream from ecstasy?
We both had the urges in the veins
that shut blood to our wild brains;
and we didn't stop until it was done!

What changes after an illusion,
after having felt an hour of pleasure?
If once is enough, there's no passion;
be truly honest with me: isn't love a treasure?
What changes after an illusion...
if all is burned by a pretentious sensation?

We have surrendered to desire,
no resistance was shown...
while other lips wait to taste a lie
that from betrayal was born.

If happiness was all we wanted...
what changes after an illusion
that seemed real when lips kissed
and didn't wait for revelation?

Was there a rush to feel the hands
all over our bodies while our eyes
shut letting sensations work magically?
Who really was the hungriest one?
Who wanted to scream from ecstasy?
We both had the urge in the veins

Illegally Entering Russia

Never join – Please! – in taking Russia
For the less alert nations in Asia
Or choosing her own furry coat
For disguisedly sneaking into her boat.

Some Ivanovitch will be coming for you,
First amusedly radioing his crew
About “The Freshest Stowaway
To make a Human Yesterday”.

Russia doesn’t fail to get him
Simply swayed by a whim
Lengthily teaching him ‘How to Borrow’
For a desired voyage, tomorrow …

Your keenest prayer: To not end up a meal
For the Hungriest Planted Shark:
What shall off your mother’s skin peel
And make your wife like a dog bark:
Russia’s last Nobel Peace Winner
Leave confused and thinner?
And her KGB,
A Scarier TB!

Old-Rose

a wilting flower’s qualities
are just as admirable
as that of
a freshly bloomed rose

unlike their sprightly counterparts,
shriveled flowerheads project wisdom
experience
and growth

their browning petals dangle
with a lifetime’s worth of memories
as their stem grows weary
from withstanding the windiest of storms

their lifeless leaves
once fed the hungriest bees
and their roots still venture
beneath the turning soil

although their physical beauty
deteriorates against the test of time
their memory lives on with each grain of pollen
whisked away by the breeze

drooping stems are a mere glimpse
into the progression of nature
for the death of one flower
leads to the blossoming of another

Premium MemberSpit Out the Grit

wouldn’t it be awesome
if life were always as smooth
as scoops of homemade
strawberry ice cream
easing down our throat
on lazy summer days

sad truth is
oftentimes we’ll find
grit in our leftover soup
when we’re at our hungriest

yes, my friends
we’ve got to make the most
of good times as they roll by
because we never know
what’s around the corner

when the road ahead
is smooth and the sun is out
let the wind blow your hair
as if driving
the convertible of your dreams

always be prepared to
spit out the grit
as you ride
the roller coaster
of your life

Dream the Impossible Dream

To Dream the Impossible Dream......

To dream the impossible dream,
Is to rise to unreachable heights,
Or to climb all unconquered mountain peaks,
Or for you to dive to the deepest depths of seas,
Even to travel to the far ends of mother earth,
Or to feed the hungriest of child,
As well as to preach to the unreachable soul,
Or to fly to highest cloud,
For you to beat the unbeatable foe,
So, in order to being successful;
It is for you to dare to visualize
Your possible dream….

Sorrow

We share the world's beauty.
We love the instant contact.

It is very difficult for those
who do not share it's wealth.

To most of the world, those of
us in the west are wealthy
beyond imagination.

Meanwhile, we struggle to
keep bills paid, and wonder
why we don't share either.

A video of the Louvre is free
anywhere, a meal is not for
the hungriest of us.

A live sporting event may be,
access to health care is not.

We are all of one species.
Of our animals, sometimes
thousand of species.

Among us, extreme disparities
seem to some to be nomalized,
yet the dangling carrot for some
is a mirage.

Utopian held to the hope that
mankind could each rise to our
best and at the same time look
out for others.

Could there be a way? As we brace
for yet another storm.

Leave the Note Upon the Limb of the Oldest Tree

LEAVE the note upon the limb
of the oldest tree & cry for me
A sense of urgency
& if you sense fire my Love
Oxygen removed from the
hungriest brains are so biblical
   Spreading my arms wide
apart to separate the water
from the lands so you can
walk toward me. Desolation
of thoughts mostly by
the lonely and victory held
as history for the thickest
hearts and i'm still here
until the End. Until the End.
Where every point intersects
all points of our Universe.
   Matrix mathematics is
clearly closest to our Souls.

And three cheers for tyranny
while the rest of the world
marks their future moment.

Trail of Regrets

Times spent most unwisely, unkindly
are each marked on this journey of ours
with a cairn of regret; small reminders
strewn by our souls like rancid breadcrumbs,
untouched, even by the hungriest of birds
not to stain the past, but to steer the present
and with hope, to sweeten the future

Seeds

One being seeks another to increase.
Fun!famine!weak or strong and blinded by thunder or peace.
Fed and nourished by the elements of life.
Welded and flourishes to the betterment of man and wife.
Children of knowledge with the healthiest brains,
Wisdom bred colleges are the hungriest wanes!
Imaginations only god can bestow on lowly man.
Inventions are rods to rule some glorious plans.
Evil is the crusts of torn hearts so easily washed.
The devil trusts the parts where god has seemingly lost.
The tree of good and bad addictions tasted.
And the freedom of the gifts cherished or wasted.

Over the Blue Horizon

With hungriest eyes

I scan

the distant skyline.

Searching for love at

all compass points.

In the crimson tumble

of sunset

your face smiles

imposed on velvet clouds.

Distance impales my heart

on javelin lasers.

Biting back the sting of tears

I pray

beyond the cruel vault

of land and sea;

over the blue horizon

we will be together forever

some day.
