If the moon rose in the morning
and the sun in the evening
without the least warning
What would folks be perceiving
Would they be disbelieving
even some of them grieving
Or would (it) they be receiving
somewhere down in their being
However you do it, just get away
Regularly do it, and for a whole day
Get away from routine
Get off of your screen
Put down that device
Please take my advice
Live in the moment. Ditch the stress
You can't predict the future or change the past
Do it this week, and the next and the next
A full day, 24 hours, without any texts
Shut off that phone, and open your mind
Find space for YOU, to yourself be kind
Take a walk to nowhere
Midst forests and gardens
Free up your senses
Ere they eternally harden
Make a friend, sing a song
Blow a kiss -- nothing wrong...
Live in the moment
Let life come to you
You'll be glad you did
~ Recreate a new you
She was the greatest kisser ever, but I tend to focus on flaws,
and she had the biggest Adams apple that I ever saw.
Quarantined, you're stuck behind panes of glass,
depriving you of physical contact.
Goodbyes get exchanged like a fumbled pass,
sorta clumsy, putting on a brave act.
Ah, maw, we’ll visit you here on the grass
however long it takes, and that's a fact.

I see you there in despair my dear friend
medical needs, kids to feed, job now lost
I will get you food no matter the cost
dry your tears, make you laugh, then help you mend

Life bustling all around me
As fast and unhinged as I once was
Seems crazy that I was caught up
Entranced within the walls
Of that fanatical maze
Sold on the idea
More is better and faster is smarter
That’s a pace for the young
Going nowhere fast
I wouldn’t switch my age
With just about anyone
Finally living and appreciating
Every precious moment
Remembering life is about options
Not being bullied
By should-and-musts
I’d be damned if
I let you cheat me
Of my last few days
However many

Hailey was so much impressed by Saint John that thinking of him was an eager excitement. She talked with him always stirred, becoming twice the lady she was, with the hand missing glasses and whenever close to him feeling idyllically calm and peaceful. No-stress. Yes, no-stress, this high-class and profound luxury. The surprise when he appeared was bigger than average as he appeared in her life rarely. And it was not important that not everything was as it ought to be- next to him the world was taken in slow motion. And in slow motion she could enjoy both the world and Saint John himself. Open, handsome, with bright smile but only a little shy. Her sinking in his really good-hearted look meant: Everything is well now. However corny that seems, it was real as the heat before the storm.

He is so very married.
the road to her was not easy
the valleys of her mind were not smooth ones
there were times when love smelled like new suitcases
there were times when hate and its pungency was the freshest scent
however here we still remain wrapped in each others arms
how we can be big kids teasing adult things is beyond me
how we can remove the thorns and clean and bandages all the wounds is not that plain to see
the road to me was not that easy either
the volume of my moodiness brought out the worst in the worst
my loner's mentality was like arrows playing follow the leader with arrows
there were moments when we were plotting murder schemes in our minds
there were moments when we wanted to just jump from some high place ourselves
however here we still remain kissing each other like halloween candy bandits
how what comes next transpires is beyond even the most vivid imagination
how what ultimately becomes the conclusion occurs befuddles even the most genius of a mind
all we know is that we simply love each other
the rest we put in the Healing Hands of God....
a true haiku should only be about nature i. freaking e.
ROOTS GREW LEAVES OF LOVE
WEEDS TRIED TO STRANGLE THOSE LEAVES
ROOTS OF ROMANCE WON
if you people weren't so adverse to reading me i could teach you all a lot of interesting facts, for instance, in the entire English language which i revere there is only one adjective that should never be modified by an adverb and that singular adjective is the word "unique". one should never say "that woman is VERY unique" the chick is either unique or she ain't unique...the word VERY is inherent in the word "unique" itself...one day, if i feel you are reading me enough and i deem you all worthy i will post a unique poem entitled "A UNIQUE EUNICH" also...take the word "LAUGHTER" AND LEAVE IT JUST AS IT IS ONLY ADD THE LETTER "S" TO THE FIRST LETTER "L" AND YOU GET.......
