"Referencing an old poetic imagism sort of poem I wrote some four years ago--almost to the day---wherein lies a paradox," ... by The Poet.
MIRROR, MIRROR
I was in a room,
there, I saw a mirror,
and then I saw him,
I told him to get out,
and he did,
and he took the mirror,
and I was no more.
--The End--
Albeit, natheless
of no consequence
admissible ... thing
humiliating
how now brown cow ... speak
named ... must be unique
imagination
generalization
easy, perspective
yours or mine, fictive!
that stretch, what is there,
images ... despair
strays loss memory
rare remembering
instantaneous
matter strenuous
reason of drainage
mayhaps some carnage
yes answers reason
purpose--intention
... a dreamer affects
... or schemer effects
telltale prophecy
image precisely.
I think the thing I think of most
Is blood rare roast on buttered toast
I smile awhile mile after mile
I boast I eat it coast to coast
But now the thing I think of now
Is how I think I'm eating cow
Wary my diet should vary
Now I think I should eat more sow
SHOULD I WOW YOU
Should I essay to wow you I trow
That my words shall be honest I vow
No mere rhymes such as ‘How now brown cow’
But an aesthetic furrow I’ll plough
Then I’ll speak my lines if you’ll allow
As we sit in cool shade neath a bough
And you fan gentle breeze on my brow
While empyrean scene I endow
For my impudence I should kowtow
Now please pardon my lack of knowhow
If I press my attention e’en now
You’d be right to say ‘Basta! and chao!’
But I’ll try one more time anyhow
Just dream that you are in Curaçao
Or on tropical sea in a dhow

And then wake up in Slough. Holy wow!

THE MEERKAT
Meerkats are delightful beasts,
Arousing warm affection
They stand in groups discrete
Looking in the same direction
COW
How now brown cow
A bestowal to the world art thou
Miracle of God's construction
Four stomachs in mass production
THE PIG
Our blessings upon you abound
In our hearts you did awaken
A sense of gratitude profound
For bringing home the bacon
CHICKENS
In these days of Genetic modification
There is a question that begs
Should we yield to the great temptation
To get a chickens with four wings and six legs
THE URBAN PIGEON
I've nothing against the urban pigeon
But could it not maintain a smidgeon
Of caution when it makes its flyway
In the middle of a six lane highway
THE ANT
The ant delights to frolic
In Formic acid vitriolic
But on the tongue of the Ant Eater
There is nothing could be sweeter
THE BULL
His spontaneous emanation
Given without solicitation
Should encouraged him on a mission
To be a salesman or politician
Trump Should Disavow
Trump we all should disavow
Hillary is best here and now
With murder he has been getting by
Best if politicians cannot lie
Can't remember how now brown cow.

Having been brought up on a farm cottage
cows are a breed I know about
they make indeed an interesting study
of that they can be no doubt
Think of yourself as a cow
having to eat grass all day
drinking water from a trough
to produce white milk for your pay
Would you like such a life
so mundane so predictable
not much different from our own?
maybe ours is just a fable!
But this life has some plus points
you don't need to talk
just a moooooo! here and there
time passes no need for a clock
So what do you think?
live on a cow farm oh wow!
want to make your introduction
how now brown cow!

Ever hear these words, “How now brown cow?”
Wonder where it came from, this to me is very bizarre anyhow.
I realize that it’s just a little saying.
Why this crept in, I asked myself while praying?
You see many people have their ways and collect.
Artifacts like; key chains, buttons and I collected baseball cards,
I reflect.
My wife’s thing is cows,
Why, I can’t figure it, anyhow?
Cows are a blessing to mankind,
giving milk for all humans to survive.
“How now brown cow” is just a little phrase,
But the milk gives us cheese, other products and things that are made.
They give nourishment to fill our lives.
As the Lord put these animals on this Earth
for us to survive.
The Lord has put these brown cows for our use.
Along with all animals, if that’s what we choose.
Man has dominion over all creatures on this Earth.
And we should be grateful for these brown cows,
they were put here way before our birth.

Jesus and to V.
How now brown cow.
This one is Z last for now.
I am resting on my laurels.
I am an Ambassador.
A Poet on many levels.
I have needs and wants,desires.
A lifetime to be mended.
My Lord has said to me to live,
and that is now intended.
This one is Z last for now.
How now brown cow.
