Somewhere

I saw you there
sitting alone in a corner
while our classmates played.
The look in your eyes—
longing to belong
but fearing to fall.
We were seven then,
in all the chaos,
still finding our places.
You noticed me or not,
I never knew,
but I saw you smile
when you saw the chocolate
I hid in your bag.
Then… one day, your seat was empty.

Hopelessy Hoping

As I walk through the light of hope,
the trees stretch over me, folding in—
as if they want to hug me with the full force of the wind.
I feel all the baggage I’ve carried being swept away.

I fall, and the world pauses—
everything is muted.
I let myself drift,
not stopping, just floating,
letting the earth pull and take control.

Hoping

Hope is what we feel,
Creates our even keel,
Hope makes smiles aglow,
Here on golden plateau,
Source--faith in Our Lord,
Wake up blessed, still awed!

i hope i wasn’t born the die young
i hope i have the chance to make it out of this damned town
to go to college,
to get married, 
to have kids, 
and to die happy
i hope that my mind wont get the better of me
when i am 14
and alone

Hurtfully Healing

Steadily swimming
She flashes a grin
Doc in a boat
Take's a note
she won't surrender.  
She wants to win
finds strength within.

Worriedly Waiting, 
friend wishes she'd ask herself "why"
and paces the French side.  
Hastily helping, 
she rises a moment 
to wave, before waves re-hide 
He feels pride inside

Stand by the starlight,  
The watch boat is tossed

The future continues to become the past
I wonder, is the dye really cast
Accepting that each day could be my last
Grateful for each breath I take
For each new day I awake
Finding my way
Molding my life like clay
Ever hopeful for what I may see
Sets my heart free
From what could of been
Sometime way back when
I never thought I

Hoping the Doors of Happiness Will Open

Hoping the doors of happiness will open ahead,  
I clung to fleeting dreams my heart had bred.  
Yet life, a cunning thief, stole the days away,  
Stripping hope from my soul, leaving it astray.  

Though I fell from the heights I to climb,  
I never crumbled like sand previous time.

hoping for finger replacements

mothers hands were claws in the end
crippled from arthritis
in sixteen years I will be that age
I test my appendages daily
looking for signs
hoping they will have finger replacements by then

Hoping You'll Choose Me

Our names always rhymed,
Our reconnection well-timed.
Hoping you'll have me
As the one who sets you free,
The one you'll love divinely.

suffusing through the air 
Hides beneath floorboards 
that rot beyond repair

doesn’t really care 
Probably won’t happen
if it does, hope its fair
Hope is a fantasy 
from my comfort chair

keeps away despair

I always felt like A soul without a refuge 
Every place i have visited 
None flutter my inside with the feeling of being home 
A heart without a haven 
I contemplated,
My whole life where i lived never felt home
Nor it gave me the sense of peace and love
I'm drifting aimlessly, 
Yearning for a place to

THE SINGING PARROT

Up above on a pole sat a parrot
Portraying a great attribute
Singing a melody with harmonies
soothing and rejuvenating tune
Singing a song that liberates
Leaving the listener amuse
Picking the soul up from doom.


Beautiful sweet and lovely rhymes
Absolute rhythm just like blues
Wiggling it's colorful wings
Slowly and softly she sangs sadly
Expressing the feelings of solitude
Emotionally drained by loneliness

Hoping an End

Woke up amidst the screaming cries, dared to stare through the window
Eyes couldn't believe a thousand corpses lying, hands couldn't recognize the skulls
The day before a boy told me to hurry, jokingly I said, Why will the place be bombed,
A house filled with joy nobody idealized could grow into ashes,
Defeatedly begging with joined hands to

Hoping for a Bed

he thought life was tough at home
did not realize the thrill of warm food
or a soft bed

decided school was too hard
hated algebra and biology
knew living on the streets would be fun

danger came many times a day
what started out as an adventure
sometimes took a nearly deadly turn

he was embarrassed and ashamed
did not want to call his
