“Remember me, O my God, for good.” — Nehemiah 13:31

May the lantern
     of my memory
   shine like bright gold
as hope of renewal
     sustains me
   from late summer
through winter’s end

Of Canvassed Raindrops And Mud

Raindrops and mud:
God cried today;
His tears fertilized
the womb
of Mother Earth;
the wet smell
of nature’s essence,
saturated the air;
the moist breeze
blew breath
of new life
into dried hopes,
waiting in the desert
of despair;
hopefully,
as God’s
nourishing tears
continue to fall,
maybe love
will hallow
her footprints
in the soft mud:-

Premium MemberForever Blessed

His light, falls gently
Erasing the melancholy
The summer’s grief
Restless praises, stirred
By the music of a grace
Beyond the heavens,
Where love can amaze….

Sweet notes of praise,
On lips of leaf and life
When starlight trembles
Keeping away this strife…

Autumn’s brisk light
Falls across the night
Where melancholy
Whispers to a moon so bright,
Streams of tear like dewdrops
Rest on the soul who knows
Whatever comes in this life
God above will exalt…
Every heart who remembers
He is One who knows me best
And, with Him, life is forever blessed!

Premium MemberHalcyon Hope

Torment tempests perish psyche
Anguished anger blazes the maligned mind
Seethes sad life to cinder cake
Agony ashes soar to fly far
Bleakness blurs dark despair
Enticed essence seeks solace in
Halcyon hope of rare rapture

a fragile bright thread
woven through the darkest night~
 light that dispels dread

soft whisper of dawn
chasing shadows from the soul~
sunshine on the lawn

seed beneath the frost
waiting for the gentle thaw~
life will not be lost

tear begins to dry,
a quiet strength starts to grow~
shine anew in sky

sunbeam on the path,
melting away winter's grip~
greens in aftermath

a gentle warm breeze,
carrying a hopeful song~
worries start to ease

rainbow after storm,
colours painting skies anew~
peace begins to form

distant star's soft gleam
promising a warmer shore~
life`s journey still beams.

OVERCOMING

Troubles are always;
Grief often tries to be so:
Both, milestones to growth:-

Premium MemberAltogether Lovely

Hear the breaking of a heart,
In love with us the very start,
To reconcile, never again to part,
Altogether Lovely.

Reaching through the realms of time,
Healing the sick, lame, deaf, and blind.
Freeing imprisoned, captured minds,
Altogether Lovely.

To even raise up from the dead,
those in tombs and from death beds.
Born to be slain, death for life in our stead,
Altogether Lovely

Hearing the plea of my Savior’s heart,
In love with me from the very start.
For a love beyond time, never to part,
Altogether Lovely.

For He is Love, such Love Divine,
His child, I am His, and He is mine,
As much is yours, as He is mine,
Altogether Lovely.

Premium MemberFATHER TO ELDER SON: ONCE MORE AGAIN

FATHER TO ELDER SON: ONCE MORE AGAIN

I am your father;
Let me not be a bother,
Nor your enemy:
Please come and visit with me;
My time here will soon not be:-

The compass of God,
Has never led one astray;
Satan’s does—each day:-
Be in God’s navigation;
And love’s resurrection:-

Have mercy on me,
And forgive me for my sins
Against God and thee:-
Love you more than you can know;
Forgive me before I go:-

Forgiveness of me
Is not about forgetting;
It’s about mercy:
For the pain you’ve given me,
God knows, I’ve forgiven thee.

I’ll die loving you,
I have lived life loving you:
God guiding me on:-
And as death takes me further,
Pray tell, greets from your brother:-

Premium MemberLast Leaf

The blotted ink of sky engulfs my dream
While nightfall's soot and fog darken the shore,
And I , a tattered leaf, tremble midstream
Infecting my solace much like before.

Dreary this roam, this dreary roam so cold
Attended by a willow tree's limp veil;
Like ghastly air with sordid woes untold
Of slumber deepening... its tomb, my nail.

And in a haze, snow circles tainted blue
As forceful winds begin their groan, one howl
My tassels unraveling to imbue
This cry for life paling as woods befoul.

Yet, branches of hope , they rain down on me,
For spring redeems ...bright as eternity.

Premium MemberA Leaf In The Woods

My heart, though silent, beats steadier, then
Love is written in this gentle voice
Cool winds, playing softly, a moment, when
Gentle thoughts offer no other choice

Singing a chorus of love that believes
My spirit soars to new heights, I can see
Beyond the music of the tree who grieves
Sweetest song, so rich and brave, wind can free

Secured by faith, the joy of love shines bright
Sweetest tones of hope drift over my life
While notes of peace rise from the sunny light
I feel the sway of music that heals worst strife

Thrown about by the dreadful winds of change
Like a leaf in the woods, whose fate feels strange

Premium MemberLIFE AND LIVING HOPE

LIFE AND LIVING HOPE

In life, never give up hope;
For hope supports faith’s
Living belief in God:
Knowing, not wishing,
God’s healing grace
Will sustain life—
Keeping you here
For a while longer—
To serve Him
In labors of
His love:-

Premium MemberRainbow's End

Fly bold into the night, my friend,
and let your spirit soar.
For on your dreams you must depend;
renounce who came before.

A new dawn lies in wait for you,
there at your beck and call.
Your rainbow's end will shine what's true;
the gem who's meant to fall.

So let loose the sorrow felt
from ties that bind your mind,
and know that destiny has dealt
with hopes you left behind.

The morning sun will blaze its light
to pierce the flow of tears.
The arc of color lies in sight;
your pot of gold appears.

Premium MemberThe Day Has Come

Now entering the new season
Gives the meaning
Of the past life of old
Conquering the demons grasping hold
Knowing they were the reason
Of a lost soul trapped in the abyss
Breaking through, reaching heavenly bliss
I blow a kiss
To God
Waving back and forth his lightning rod
With the surrounding angelical squad
I kneel and pray
For giving me the continuous strengthening
Of a beating heart of cosmic gold
To peel each journey and unfold
Each harden lesson untold
The spiritual healing
Is a wonderful feeling!

Premium MemberThe Special Effects of Life

Maybe one day, everyone will walk on water
Or turn water into wine
Heal the sick. Turn back time
Live in a world without war or fear

Maybe one day, everyone will turn the other cheek
Or wear each other's sandals, year after year
Love one another. Help the weak
Be the light in candles

Maybe one day, everyone will know peace of mind
Or make origami of the sublime
All skins are kin, everyone wins!
Can I hear an "Amen"? Or at the very least
Can we all just try to get along
And maybe be friends?

Maybe one day, everyone will feel the holy spirit
Or fill in the holes in the fabric of time
Take a quantum leap of faith
There's nothing better than the Kind
The One who saves us from all the lying

Premium MemberHope

step by step, many miles to go
farther farther the goal to row,
the roads are dry, the trees so bare,
no shade to stop by, no water to share,
life is for some, such a long show,
the feet are worn out, Will so low,
but a hope beckons from a distant light,
of love, of home, of rest, where all is right,
in the deepest of sorrows, flicker of love,
is all that is needed, to urge us on—- move.
