their bathroom
once a

*** Kept Eternally ***

The causes for our weeping
— From hunger to grieving —
Occur — in whimpers to wailing.
However, our tears, we believe,

Are in themselves liquid, and, thus, silently
Flowing their sad running from our eyes
Along the crescents over reddenened cheeks to be
Wiped away…Although they go, those tears, each

Like a hologram, showing the whole of life
That brought them into being here. Similarly,
Just as our omnipotent God alone knows
Of the each and every hair on our heads,

The tears of all our yesterdays, with tomorrow’s,
Recite their poetry to our loving Father and
Comforter, who collects them, keeping them close
Beside Him in “Book of Life,” wherein the life stories
Of His of believing children are told.

Hieroglyphs and Holograms

Hieroglyphs etched upon rock walls
Leave clues for future observations.
Egyptian artists in ancient times
Told their stories in animations.

Holograms are recent constructions
That employ 3-D displays
On two dimensional surfaces,
On which its objects amaze.

Ancient hieroglyphs -
pictures of objects
that represented
words and syllables
centuries ago -

Seven hundred
signs (no vowels),
sacred carvings
of old Egypt

Left to right
right to left
or straight down

thoughts like
 magic

shown!

Think

ahead
of time

beyond mere
projections
in 3-D

Material
encoded, then
diffracting light -
An image “shone.”

Today’s illusions
on tomorrow’s screens
means special glasses
won’t be required for
modern holograms!

Hieroglyphs To Holograms

You were once a small child
With paper and crayon
Cacophony’s of colours
Scribbles so crazily drawn.

Then Mummies and Daddies
Crafted with circles and lines.
Soon squiggles of sunbursts
Your world produced in design.

Princes and princesses
Flashy flowers on the moon.
A glimpse of imagining
A child’s dreams in cartoon.

Illusions of spirals
Sophistication of style.
A mind in awakening
Creating art also tactile.

Definitions of shade
Pencil, paintbrush, and pen.
Astounding refinement
A babe leaving the den.

Inventions and visions
Digitising maps of the skies.
Discovering new vistas
Fresh frontiers as the prize.

Technology projects.
Scheming trips to the stars.
For you are the future,
That’s how special you are.

Hieroglyphics and Holograms

On hieroglyphics and holograms,
Ancient runes in endless sands,
We're journeying in a timeless sands,
Travellers in a great Southern land,
A distance past, times long gone,
Through the future we'll wander on,
To the world there is a helping hand,
We all come from migrants in our land,
A multicultural heritage, that's grand,
As Mum used to say, "Are you Irish or mad?"
A river of time floating by,
We're journeying in an endless sky,
Travellers in a timeless span,
Soon, hieroglyphics and holograms.

Hieroglyphics
   used in old Egyptian times
      communication-
through symbols, signs, and pictures;
non-verbal interactions.

Ancient Egyptians
   interpreted at a glance
      meanings and feelings.
Symbols would stir emotions-
provide factual knowledge.

Hieroglyphics
   exist in these modern times;
      new name- Emoji.
Used in our digital world;
pictures like smiley faces.

Just like hand signals,
   Emojis speak non-verbal
      emotions, feelings-
a whole thought in one image
enhances verbal insights.

Holograms- new tech;
   3-D visions, light-induced.
      Like feats of magic-
project images, not there;
visions that hang in the air.

Where will this tech lead?
   Like ancient Hieroglyphs
      replaced by plain words-
will we reverse the process,
draw 3-D signs in the air?

Language of symbols
   holograms show more than words-
      images and signs
3-D Hieroglyphics;
expressions of tomorrow?

Code carved in temple walls, tombs and charms
Used in a religious context
Meaning magic words in Greek
The Egyptians believed
That words written in
Hieroglyphs came
Real in their
Ancient
World

The photographic technology
Creates a visual image
Projected in third dimension
In movies or concerts
Appearing as real
To human eye
Something that
Is not
Real

Holograms and Hemoglobin

no mistake this isnt just a reason
logic and thoughts linked by measure
these planes that pull me hold true
only by way I made in being
love is built by pieces of me
and I want you to have them
something so simple held to beyond
the very means, in awe, I reflect
holes to the milky way
my synapses fire like stars
the spaces between not as influential
as the moment I hold now
When I realize in the details, everyday
I am not alone, was this sword double edged?
I am still a baby, I am still young
I am growing, and I have always been an old man
Take this and know me
Know you
my projection keeps on streaming
my reception not solely ego
May I own a satellite
