Your noor overflows from your majesty
Your name exceeds over milkyway galaxy
At the earth at seas at skies your place
Who is in trouble caught up by your aids
Your arms are behind the dam of Gog
One blind eye of dejjal by your finger gouged
Next to Jesus your commander is Mahdi
You are the pioneer of glorious victory
You are the ruler of armies of Islam, master
You are the teacher of science Sultans, master
You are the hidden knowledge oceans' vessel, master
You are the light to heavens and earth, master
You are the honor of whole universe, master

Have you never shared the seductive charms
of a cool spring night under moons full glare
Folded in the warmth of a lover’s arms
basking in fire light as bold passions flare
Or felt the coolness of newly turned soil,
had the smell of fresh mown hay in your nose
Felt your imagination start to boil;
when feeling mud squishing between bare toes
If you have never watched a summer’s day
slip east to west across an open sky
While sitting in the shade of an oak tree
letting both time and caring pass you by
Have you ever witnessed October’s breath
shake hoarfrost covered blades of yellow grass
Or place a rainbow in each speck of ice!
that clings to hope upon the window’s glass
Never seen a blanket of winter’s snow
mound on leafless trees and frozen fence rail
Every bush and fern reflecting the moon
as a silent wind slides across the dale

Hoar Frost
Frozen fog specter
A glistening miracle
Sprung by the sun’s light.

Hoar-Frost Hearts
(with acknowledgment and apologies to Shakespeare)
Who dares compare thee to a winter’s night?
Thou art much darker and more treacherous .
Howling gales render darling buds to blight
And winter’s grip too long and arduous
Holds dark the swollen hope of heavens eye.
Allows false dawn gold weakly blushing peak
Upon the icy crust you would deny
Whilst cursing natures changing course as weak.
But your unending winter has not left
Nor lost the comfort of its ling’ring frost,
Nor death denied the coldness of your depth,
Its numbing sting the solace of love’s loss
Rest now, in time the beating heart will slow,
Rest now embraced by fluffy winter snow.

HOAR FROST
Multi-fingered trees drowned in the mist
Mist like the cold hand of death coming to Ramses
Last night’s mist - purifying spirit
Enveloping all in the frost
Like a well-tended graveyard
Dead, silent, nothing moves
The ugly old dead trees - and
The lovely young live trees
Are levelled, enveloped,
Masked in a white shroud
Each tree - asleep, dead
Recreated in white
Born again of water and Holy Spirit
Ready to enter the kingdom of heaven.
All souls look alike
All the trees look alike
New souls reborn sinless
Souls of trees waiting
These ghost trees are not real trees
Their previous life forgotten, bees and pollen
All sensual feeling numbed
Their tree souls purified
Pure innocence - sin free
Prepared for tree heaven
Cold joy of heaven
Ah….the forgotten delights
Of being a larch or elder or oak.
The warmly imperfect summer life
