Heartsick

Heartsick that foolish thing
Thumping through my bones
Shooed away, an errant puppy
Still waiting for the stick throw

It has sat so long
Barely remembers what it misses now
Some flicker of imagination
A sense of who it was

Yet refusing to let go
Honouring it says
To let it go, lets it end
Drowning in defiance

Knuckles white to the stone
Yielding no blood

That Girl, a World Away

That girl, a world away
Does she think of me?
That girl, a world away
How to make her stay?

That girl, a world away
We would never be
That girl, a world away
Sleeps when I'm awake

That girl, a world away
I cannot unsee
That girl, a world away
Haunts me every day

Heartsick

giddy atmosphere the platinum boy had,
ocean drained eyes
esoteric depth

concealing grins the platinum boy had,
pure drunk man
shallow in relationships

august grieve the platinum boy had,
wailing brought the world to its brim
such doleful sight, crystal to folks is

sheer smile the platinum boy had,
emotions overflow trigged by lust
loathed the body of his own self

Premium Member Heartsick For You

He loved you when you didn't know. Heartsick for you.
He knew not how his love to show. Heartsick for you.

Forever will his love be true. Beyond compare.
He has been hit by Cupid's bow. Heartsick for you.

You do not understand his love. Divinely fine.
And he can almost see it grow. Heartsick for you.

Perhaps, Dear One, he should step back. His love too bold.
Convince the wind his love to blow. Heartsick for you.

Arthur would die without the one for whom he yearns.
He never wants to let you go. Heartsick for you.

Heartsick

Clutching my phone in my hands,
Hoping you’ll call or text.
But it’s been a month or so,
Since you grabbed your things and left.

Memory lane is colder at night,
As I lay in bed thinking of you.
My inbox has been empty,
And also yearning to hear from you.

I’ve never heard the clock,
Tick so loud before.
The echo still resounds in my heart,
From when you slammed the door.

When I take an account of my life,
You are the thing I miss the most.
And lately my life feels paused,
I feel like I’ve been sleeping with a ghost.

If you return to this loneliness,
You’ll bring back the color to my life.
The day seems to go by quickly,
But I hurt the most at night.

Heartsick

My whole chest feels like it is about to cave in
My head feels like it is about to explode
I loved you with the strength of 10,000 men
But our love hit a lonely dead end road
                    I'm heartsick over you
                     and there is no cure
                    I'm heartsick for you
                     my love was so pure
My eyes are red from the tears I've cried
I needed you desperately it was crazy, I guess
My knees are sore from the prayers I've tried
But for you I did what I thought was for the best
                    I'm heartsick over you
                     and there is no cure
                    I'm heartsick for you
                     my love was too pure
