Hardly Gregarious

You want to know the downside of Aquarius?
Just ask the folks who weren’t in Noah’s Ark,
or check out Jethro Tull and Linkin Park.
The paths we tread are manifold and various,
as Lewis learned by teaming up with Clark –
and now the Eightfold Way reveals the quark.
Is ‘humorous’ the equal of ‘hilarious’?
Is ‘mini-skirt’ the same as ‘cutty sark’?
About as similar as ‘bite’ and ‘bark’.
We take from this that language is precarious,
quite unreliable (if not nefarious):
don’t trust a man who says he’s made his mark.
Instead of “it is written”, “it is dark”:
for I have felt the sinews of the shark.

Premium MemberMolly Ann Could Hardly Wait

Molly Ann could barely wait said her dad
To show her hippie grandma her cozy pad
Where would I sit? Grandma asked eying the pit.
Daddy laughed so hard, for on the floor she used to always sit.

It’s wonderful, all rainbow and stuff, Grandma admitted.
But my arthritis is acting up, and my colon is all pitted.
I don’t want to grouse or gripe any more.
But I doubt I can lift this heavy body off of the floor.

“Working Hard Or Hardly Working”
Miracle Man
2/13/2024

Nothing worthwhile comes without hard work,
and seldom will success just ring your door bell.
Success always requires doing your homework,
and oft times personal qualities you must sell.

Try beating expectations, it will garner praise,
don’t settle for average, be top card in the deck.
Being as good as a peer makes you average always,
peer’s don’t matter, unless they sign your check.

Hardly

Hardly any craving is for necessity but rather towards desire
Hardly any desire satisfies but at least it gratifies
Hardly any gratification lasts, only fleeting
Hardly any fleeting brings joy but a flare
Hardly any flare can light or warm but catches the eye
Hardly any eye resists the momentary but soon forgets
Hardly any forgotten is remembered but remains as if never known

Acquaintance and Neighbourhood

Sadly , my acquaintance  of IsiZulu and other local  languages was so badly.
hardly to speak to acquaintance neighbors in the erea
 as majority of them were sadly.

Neighbourhood had an acquaintance woman
superstar of Hollywood,
African woman who spoke American English
fluently like an African - Americans.

Hollywood superstar once carried firewood,
Woodland is the name of  that Neighbourhood.
Place where you can find beautiful traditional houses
 and an  important old Palace.

traumatized good people always portrayed  Apartheid
and colony as the causes of trauma.
Hardly communication between some people
As  they were wounded by others hardly.

Painful life when you are victims of  injustice, Trying to transform some unjust people by  sharing love
and they continue to ignore your goodness
and kindness to increase your pain.

Premium MemberHardly Armageddon

His demons woke him up
To look at their Armageddon
Pleased that it was too late
Hoping he would despair.

He being a hero
Knew he could fix things
So he concentrated on rebuilding immediately
Glad he had grown.

Armageddon? Hardly.
He would rejuvenate, reinvent.
His demons were laughing, not realizing
Optimism was stirring his imagination.

He had conquered them
Instead of reaching for a bottle
He picked up a pen.
His new found therapy.

Premium MemberHardly, a Human Being

Hardly, a Human Being!

Get a hammer and garrote that
brainchild,
That demonic smartphone, I propose.
That mutant who seduces you,
With most amorous rings!
Put the sultry siren to rest,
Tune into the real world, as it's
simply the best!

Above all else do not invite family or
best friends over for dinner.
Place the sultry siren on it, next to your
sweaty palms on the table at dinner,
Then start taking calls, checking messages,
and avoiding human contact, you dolt!

If you are alone with this devious device,
have at it, play with it, stay up all night!
But never avoid human connection!
Thinking, mistakingly that the human
is less than that interruptive thing?
See...there you go!
Already?
Like Road Runner racing, entranced by
ear bling,
Lost to its call~ to her captivating
insidious ring!

Hardly Legal

my aunt lived in an apartment with a sickly tree next to it
crowded between two other lots in the middle of the city
there were men around and I got to meet my cousins
she was younger than me and he was older and I related
she wanted to show me something
we went upstairs and hid under the bed
where there was a hardly legal magazine
She knew about because someone had shown her

later mom told me about how much she hated her sister
but I already knew why

About Trump Could Hardly Wait and More

About Trump Could Hardly Wait

About Trump we could hardly wait;
We had heard about him as of late;
A procraster;
Prefers disaster;
Said his big mouth should suffocate.

Jim Horn

Over ten again.

Trump Way Off Base

We could tell Trump was way off base;
Full of bologna as well as  basket case;
Was ordained,
To be mundane;
Himself in mirror he found hard to face.

Jim Horn

Trump and It All

Trump had known it all;
Is responsible for it all;
Was his own;
Well  known,
And now guilty for it all.

Jim Horn

Last Remnant of Republican Party

Must save Republican party's last remnant,
Before down the drain, the last drop went;
Disappeared,
Like we feared,
While realizing that they may have meant.

Hardly Or Purposely Bereft

I’m plundered by my lack of will
And, all my timid thought
The life I lead is time-to-kill
I feel my conscience rot

My heart had planted empathy
But, thorns would grow and thrive
And now, they get the best of me
I’m hardly still alive

The flesh it felt, my heart replaced
But, you won’t see me grieve
For now, you know: I’m doubly-faced
And, all I built will leave

Instead of lust for Love or fear
I’m purposely bereft
Although I hear Her in my ear
My will to try had left...

Premium MemberYou Broke My Heart Not Hardly

You thought, you broke my heart when you walked out
Well old friend, have I got some news for you?
It stung a bit, of that there is no doubt
But honey, I was anything but blue

The day you left, I bought a Cadillac
I bought myself some diamonds for some bling
My love train kept on rollin' down the track
And all I left behind was big smoke rings

See, girls like you, give women a bad name
And guys like me, look out, for girls like you
The only thing you got from me was shame
Now, you're the one who's left singing the blues

You were a pane of glass right from the start
And by the way, I never had a heart

Can Hardly Wait Horn Haiku

Deserve a lower
Interest rate which would be great,
And can hardly wait.

Now if only myself I could sedate.

Hardly Work and Away Are Slaving

Hardly Work and Away Are Slaving

What I did find to be disgusting
Are people around who need busting
For broking rules and creating danger
To police who to it are no stranger.

Produce on society how many scars
Does it take to put them behind bars
Also how much more must we endure
To end up being safe, sane and secure.

What you should do is think for a while
And all of your questions start to compile
We work hard and away sure are slaving
While cause harm to us someone is craving.
