Isolation N 46 Every Sweet Arrival

under this gray sky
to the name rose they gave sharp thorns
to the name nettles nothing to suggest the itch when touching them

maybe it's just fate and nothing but appearance
although
every sweet arrival is preceded by a steep path
and every profound evil is hidden to the world
only if whoever whatches has no heart to see

...........

I Live For Her

Cinnamon and apple fill the air

Scent of Gram's famous pie

Warm fire roaring in the hall

Music turned up for all to hear

"Vivo per lei da quando sai
 La prima volta l’ho incontrata,
 Non mi ricordo come ma
 Mi è entrata dentro e c’è restata.
Vivo per lei perché mi fa
 Vibrare forte l’anima,
Vivo per lei e non è un peso.

Vivo per lei anch’io lo sai
 E tu non esserne geloso,
Lei è di tutti quelli che
 Hanno un bisogno sempre acceso,
 Come uno stereo in camera,
Di chi è da solo e adesso sa,
Che è unico per lui, per questo
 Io vivo per lei....."

Thoughts of you ring in my mind

Playing the music in my soul

A burning desire

Making my heart beat strong

Vivo per lei

I live for her

My warmth, my breath, my soul

Taking my lonely

Making it whole

My heartbeat, my strength, my home

From the depths of my heart

to your soul

My vision, my meaning, my know

Even though far, we really are near

Oceans apart but I feel your touch

Sweet music is all that I hear

Whispering I love you so much

History

A man who does not know his history
Will never know the path to his future
A man is no better than a beast
If his intelligence does not distinguish him from another creature
One thousand years before Hanno came to Africa
We lived in Tabulas Ras
Our science was not recorded and so was our culture
We cared for very little
And left to Providence
To determine our future
Doing very little to develop ourselves
We left it for our other brothers
Up north
And still relied on the ideas and science which they bought
History began to creep slowly
Through a chain of events
And occurrences was not preserved
As the events present
History of man
Will enable him learn
His wrong from his right
As imperial entities spread
From the left to the right
As a great power began to spread her imperial wings
Which is now widen spreading wide and thin
Events in history began to spin
Western hegemony dominated the global polity
African contribution is a sad apology
But is not too late for redemption
We can still think
And pay more attention to nature
And the slightest wink
