Break forth, o dawn! Rise up and sing the sun
from underneath the hills into the light.
Put out the crimson fires and take a run
through azure laced with lazy wisps of white.
To sleep, o moon! It’s time for you to wane
and nestle in below the canopy.
Dear child, there is no need for you to strain
or stretch. Just rest; put off that jealousy!
Stand down, o stars, and watch above them all!
Go, fade away into the bright of day,
and light again to hold them in your thrall
when dark no longer can be held at bay.
The unseen hand thus orchestrates their course,
as they, in turn, reflect their gloried source.

The gorgeous cardinal returned as a woman to the Wi Now Pass.
Most did not recognize her, but the wise owl certainly did.
He was amazed at how beautiful she was in human form.
Knew she would take flight and soar off within a week or two.
Watched her entrance and enthrall the forest animals in the meantime.
Wondered if she would retain her lips or fly away with her beak?
In the meantime, he gloried in a delighted way at her loveliness.

I buzzed around
Amid our clan’s beesound.
My swarm buzzed in cloud
In beespeak spoke aloud.
But the babble of the bees
Suddenly did cease,
For one with gut swollen,
Legs burdened by pollen,
Dropped out of the swarm
And sounded an alarm.
We came to a rest,
Behaved at our best,
To ken what he’d say,
On this blessed day.
He dropped on the ground,
Did a hop and a bound.
Like showman he pranced,
Strutted and danced,
Clockwise he went,
Clear message he sent.
It was the bees waggle!
It told the straggle
Where lay the flowers,
Nectar and pollen showers!
So off we took to flight,
All of us were light,
To be glutted by dusk,
With bounty of bees' musk!
Basking in the sun,
His waggle now done,
The hero of the bees,
Gloried as the bee’s knees!

Entombed in the winter
to burst forth in April;
their petals bear shadows
of crosses and nails.
Some think Augusta;
I image Golgatha:
bread of life broken
and all that entails.
Gloried reminder of
what comes right after,
the dogwoods in springtime
burst into full bloom.
Moriah spared Isaac,
rejoicing with laughter,
Abraham’s seed springs forth,
prepares a room.

Long live in halcyon days
of yore the golden age
of my history mysteries
known to none but one.
My inner terminal washed
in ancient memory and gilded
in halcyon rays...
Of a memory remembered differently
known to none!
But one my inner sight encrusted
in a veneer of a golden age,
starting to crack
and
peel…
The Falling Away.
Reflects the truth of a mystery
burred deep in my history
like a corpse of a former life
longed to live in halcyon days...
Gloried in fading gilded rays of memories…
A lone.
Long
live
Halcyon Days!

Make your way through the parlous fog and place your trust in God,
As heather, moss and bracken fern embrace the peaty sod.
Take the fork at the Roman road that seems the wilder choice,
Then wander down, my bonny lass, and listen for my voice.
Cross the trace of the tumble-wall that borders on the glen.
Flee with me across the moor, the misty moonlit fen.
Follow close by the windfall light, two foundlings on the run,
We’ll shelter midst the craggy loft to wait the morning sun.
Huddle close as the small rain falls and gaze upon the fire;
Sparks dance free of their ashen vault as true as our desire.
Hear the song of the abbey bell; mark well the sweetest chime.
We’ll sway as one in warm embrace, our heartbeats keeping time.
Holding you in my dreams, my love, we gloried in our youth.
Waken then in the cold alone, the blackthorn’s bitter truth.
Lyoness, how the hard north winds do howl in angry speech
That what I seek in lonely quest seems ever out of reach.

As the real aura of our better angels presents
That they are essential to historical events
It stirs and shakes one to the core of reverence
Infidel's ancient cries refrain far faint ringing
Winging their will of distant darkness, way off singing
Articulating it into nature's aria
Gabriel spreads gloried messages with wide white wings
Touching three theologies: all Abrahamic faiths -
Includes Christianity, Judaism and Islam
Archangels may cometh once every few hundred years
Gabriel brings grace as it's needed, it appears
His broad arching flaming feathers cover every verse
Angelic influence flows forever beyond sages
When Gabriel appears from the side of the Divine
To tell mortals of their roles in this passion sublime
So says Jesus' scriptures and Muhammed's Quran pages
Karmic grace does glow glory across all of life's phases
Then from within, overlook the thought that belief is fear
Hold back the black and let light lead us on, start right here
Gabriel gazes the universe beatifically

I Corinthians 16:14 - "Let all that you do be done in love"
~
Of all the dear intents that I'm shaped of,
No grand pursuit's more critical than love -
While all the world about me comes apart,
I'm but the soil for Heaven's hope, above.
This life has pushed me, often, to a seam,
The fringe of hell, to see a gloried scheme,
And though it oft' was of my own device,
God used each conflict to define a dream ...
That tho' life's issues have a varied range,
And some may press the definition, strange,
The truest resolution, through God's grace -
It's love ALONE, accomplishes true change.
Tho' it might seem too simple at the start,
The scripture that defines me, does impart
One single truth has been, and yet shall be -
'Tis LOVE, the seed God's sowing in my heart.

Was but a shrub, clinging to rocky hill..
when first I strayed in forest aflower.
Er'nt son's return to rose and whippoorwill,
and brook's water glider mossy bower.
Below..,seventeen years cicadas dwelt..
nymphs now grown, sing familiar forest song.
Aligned to moon and stars in homage knelt,
nature's way to right all ruin and wrong.
Seeds are sewn, winds of change how quickly blown,
tree lay down, bough's dream lost coveted cloud.
Heavens soaring branched crown no longer known,
once gloried sunlight, now in earthly shroud.
When last Spring returns Autumn's bounty owed,
the treasured forests Flora wisely sowed.

They're gathering their broomsticks
and sharpening their hats
Found catching little spiders
and feeding them to rats
Down pesty little fruit flies
and swiftly soaring bats
All mixing in a cauldron
for temptous gloary vat
And tasty to the forked tongue
of glecious gloried glum
While mixing to the tastebuds
of racious roary grumb
And taking home our vest lines
of ivy, flora, spum
when making it their best fun
of Halloween has come
I wrote this poem based on one I found
on the internet by Lillian Moore.
Here is her version of the poem from
the book Spooky Rhymes and Riddles
Poem about THEM
THEY
polish their broomsticks,
sharpen their hats,
catch some spiders,
feed the bats,
try out some yowls
with all the cats.
THEN
witches are ready for
YOU
KNOW
WHEN!

I think of that first Christmas
where in a manger lay
the infant, Jesus, come to earth
to lead us in the way.
Both Mary and Joseph
had witness of his worth.
Angels, shepherds, wisemen
all gloried in his birth.
And now a later Christmas
we celebrate joyfully.
The resurrected Savior,
who died for you and me,
would have us give our reverence
in gifts of common love.
In caring for each other,
we can follow him above.

Bright summer day; the midday sun glowing high in the sky
Beaming down on sunflowers as they turn their heads to follow it
The afternoon gloried with yellow illumination

Loves Needs
Yield not your favours maiden mine,
At least not until the end of time,
It is important that you keep
Your body pure so you can sleep.
Unfortunately my tenure here,
will not support so long a fast, l fear,
So with a heavy heart l must pursue,
others less principled in their view than you.
I doubt I would enjoy such trivial liaisons ,
But physical needs create unsavoury occasions,
My heart and needs respect your zealous grace,,
But conscience is dumb in passions strong embrace.
Of course I would eschew all thoughts of tawdry bliss,
If from your honeyed lips I could draw one kiss,
In gloried celibate State, for a while I would repine,
But not of Course forever or until the end of time.

Allotted time, of varied season
Child of virtue, child of reason
To tell of all your miracles
Be lead beyond all obstacles
Of such decrees, humble and just
Of noble measure, that I trust
The splendour of your holiness
Gloried shine of faithfulness
Where trouble finds, I am concealed
Of living lands, your truth revealed
From the throne, you will observe
Just rewards that we deserve
Guided forth, directed steps
Faithful guide, our Lord protects
Lord of favour, land inherit
Righteousness of spiritual merit
Unfailing love, patience abound
He sets my feet on solid ground

Night falls and I'm at ease
soon you'll be my waited dream
on painted wings you'll flitter by
reaching points that catch my eye
enter recesses my very soul
fillings voids in time worn holes
wonders seized in tender touch
caressing calm in natures blush
on silver streaks of amber light
filter hints of gloried sight
upon tepid breezes heading south
graze your lips upon my mouth
Shared thoughts surrender in silken beds
Hearts rejoice in shades of red
