Inspired by a scene between two colleagues and close friends, Kai and Alex, portrayed by the fierce and gorgeous Samantha Richelle and the wonderful and interesting Christian Kane.
They're establishing what's really important to each of them, including each other. The subtext is subtle and sweet.
I love the line said by Alex: "...these people need snow globes." From Episode 10: "Brigade", Season 2 of "Almost Paradise".
May each of us be blessed to enjoy the world we live in and the people we share it with.
These people need snow globes

There is beauty in this moment
There is perfection in our world
We are all here together
Colleagues and friends and more
The enemy is defeated
The bad guys are behind bars
Our island is safe again
This community under the stars
We're all in this life together
Standing together day by day
It's an almost paradise shared
And we have adventures that remain
These people need snow globes
To remind them of miracles and magic
We are all here for each other
Creating love and light and family

Go ahead snow, have at it
Fall away
There's a woman who I Iove
And I want to see the day
When we both sit and watch you
Silent, hand in hand
Her head upon my shoulders
Wouldn't it be grand?
To cozy by the fire
To sip some Scottish tea
To listen to her heartbeat
To hold her close to me
To speak with just a whisper
Love poems in her ear
To lift her chin and kiss her
Enraptured in her sphere
To rub her tired shoulders
To rock her off to sleep
To cover her in blankets
To wrap her up with me
Go ahead snow, fall, have at it
And while you're coming down
Land and form a pattern
A snow heart on the ground

Among the flowers in the field
She stands taller than the rest
Beautiful, magnificent
Spirit filled with zest
Stunningly attractive
No one else comes close
And I would walk around the world
Just to give to her a rose

Six Days of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas my MP had for free:
A partridge with all the trimmings.
It didn’t come from Aldi
On the second day of Christmas my MP had on me:
Two vintage Champagnes, a partridge with all the trimmings
And nothing came from Aldi
On the third day of Christmas my MP had on me:
Three Harrod’s Hampers, two vintage Champagnes,
A partridge with all the trimmings
And nothing came from Aldi.
On the fourth day of Christmas my MP had on me:
Four new suits, three Harrod’s hampers, two vintage champagnes
A partridge with all the trimmings,
And nothing came from Aldi
On the fifth day of Christmas my MP had on me:
Five houses rent free!! four new suits, three Harrod’s hampers,
Two vintage Champagnes, a partridge with all the trimmings
And nothing came from Aldi.
On the sixth day of Christmas the MPs did to me:
Lied through their teeth
Raised inheritance tax,
Froze all the pensioners,
Put thousands out of work
Crippled the economy
Cancelled local elections
Gave 50 million to terrorists
While I ate a sandwich from Aldi.

Little Globe
Grow me a planet
I want a moon
Followed by a Saturn
Real ones but small
To fit inside my pocket
Got my own worlds
In my palm

While Watching Golden Globes
Probably are watching the Golden Globes;
Long dangling earrings hanging from lobes;
No hims and haws;
Only loud applause;
Delightful entertainers were there in droves.

Remembrances lead to longing for souls once united in time long ago
still precise in memory now only in far distant accounts long closed
unreachable and compartmentalized without any semblance to reality
like snowflakes hypnotic white illusions of distorted reflections untouchable
The predictable heart in relentless wandering overlooks and overcomes
while foreboding and hope battle for dominance with impetuous passion
in the vainly desperate hours reason dances away upon lyrical notes
the spiraling cold blue music no one hears plays on in mystical magic
Whiskey soaked caricature’s fill the room with their constituent shapes
as the potent silence of unspoken words holds us captive purposefully
the decision for deceit is one whom another deceiver cannot believe in or trusts
as metamorphosis brings the senses present to the change in seasonal rime
All common attributes even when perfectly polished run black inside paradox
no more than a few percent of spectacular in the spectrum of light’s shine
the temptation to melt away no longer haunts from the icy facets of time
fire devours all impurities and remains one pure spirt ablaze.

A nice young man in a nice crisp blouse is rifling through papers as we speak. Somewhat undisturbed it is imperative that he reaches the halls at the correct time. For all is structured and nothing is made out of toleration born out of stagnation anyway. Under a identified roof a role is preplanned and preordained in a curtain duty. So please don't throw a pan away. Or a kettle into the net on the court. Courtiers are embellishing a primed print. In many a turret. But turrets can eventually topple so don't place the mountainous ironed towels and sheets in a bundle and derive not a shred from a seed. Merely the combination platter from a ambiguous frogspawm. Reduce to a simmer then yawn in a dawn emblematic yarn.like spin. Like sap. Like spit. Xxxxx no ha. Interesting insectivorous institutionalised iguanas. Lovely. Wooden woods weave weather. A very mystified mood is felt by a salt waltzing throughout grounds. Fading away from the makers of this song and dance and. And up and up is to verify a code. Such amazing wisdom. Duchess of duck in a cyclone whirling around quacks loudly. But a London bus is very very busy. With shrews, and suits, and bags and bags. Very exciting times of a landscape. Lanterns lingering laughter. And a very large toad. Bulging eyes then. Hahahaha and hahahaha busy bustling bursting boiling boinging boinking bananas. Xxxxx horizontally z xxxxx

All them famous, very gorgeous
Shining knights and splendid damsels
Some of them in big distress…
Showing dresses, shoes, toxedos
Bow ties and current trends…
All them talking, saying nothing
That pertains to common folk…
Everyday diurnal struggles…
Still amusing and worth watching
Fascinating gorgeous damsels…
Shining knights in bow ties…

I watched the Golden Globes
And learned who everybody wore.
I wonder who that information
Might be stated for.
It’s not like most of us will run
To find a matching dress.
If it’s couture, it costs much more
That most folks earn, I guess.
Yet still, it’s fun to criticize
Or ogle and admire
And try to picture being dressed
In similar attire:
The gown, the make-up, jewels and hair;
The shoes and corsets – ouch!
I’m grateful that I watched it from
The comfort of my couch.

Watching the summers final shoot
Seaside vewing my scenes blotted
Lines taking an exhausted breath...
Thinking in a sigh tis vacation time
Eight months and rewrites; telefax
Over budget; signing notes a photo.
