Setting: A castle garden where a man and woman are talking

Character 1 - Giselle
Character 2 - Robert

Dialogue:

Robert: My dear, you look ravishing today !
Giselle: Thank you darling, do you like it ?

Robert: The colors are perfect for your skin !
Giselle: I thought so also, do you like the material ?

Robert: I do indeed, so delightful and bright !
Giselle: Does the material remind you of anything ?

Robert: Well, now that you mention it, my curtains !
Giselle: Do you think I would make a dress out of curtains ?

Robert: No, of course not, that was silly of me !
Giselle: Do you like how it flows all billowy in the breeze ?

Robert: I do indeed, the inside panel all filmy and soft !
Giselle: Well, darling did you really like your curtains ?

Robert: I do, now hold on a second dear heart !
Giselle: Yes, darling this dress could be made of curtains ?

Robert: And now I see that it is, what a talent you are !
Giselle: Oh thank goodness, I thought you would be angry ?

Robert: So let me get this straight you are wearing my curtains !
Giselle: Exactly, they were too pretty for a window don't you think ?

Setting: A man and woman in a brightly sunlit living room.
Characters:
Giselle (G): Dressed splendidly in a brand new hand made dress.
Robert (R): A kindly man who had let Giselle stay at his place overnight. He was dressed in a suit ready for work.
Dialogue:
R: (With a furious demeanor) What have you done to my curtains? The windows are bare. How do you propose we keep the heat out?
G: (surprised, having never seen anger before) I needed another dress, my old one was torn and dirty.
R: Don’t you know why Nancy ran out? She is my girlfriend and what she saw … she thought was us being intimate—
G: Is this anger I see? I have never seen anger! You must go and sing to her Robert, that will fix everything:
R: This isn’t fantasy world it’s the real world!

Epilogue: Do not compound an accident with an “on purpose’’ The compromising position they were in was an accident. Cutting up perfectly good curtains belonging to a stranger that showed kindness, is an On Purpose.
Will she be allowed stay another night?

Premium Member It Is About The Title

Many poems are about the titles
Not the contents
Many books are about the titles
Not common sense
Many stars are about the names
Not the distance
Many actors about the names
Not the actions
Nonsense sails
And common sense rarely prevails
Color does not matter all the time
In many situations, it can be characterize
As a major sin or a colossal crime
Of enormous proportion or incredible size
It is the darn title
Giselle and Lionel.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter; known as just Beyoncé
Formerly a "Destiny's Child"; her mononym rhymes with fiancé

Much more than "Sasha Fierce", she's the wife of rapper, Jay-Z
A behemoth of a songstress, undeniably R&B's reigning queen bee

Old Twilight

resting by a garden path, I watched them lean into each other
like sodden loofers in a warm pool

then they rose to walk away and her voluminous dress, (silk)
danced a parachute ballet, caressing his tanned, mottled shins

and not heeding the peeling bell, he took her by the hand
to watch the balletic display...Coppelia or Giselle?

and he mused... would'nt it be swell to dance like Nureyev,
in $1000 shoes?

Fire Dancing

In Bulgaria, the Nestinari touched me when I was a child
high above the arm to hold, something new and something old.
She said, "Your feet were meant to walk the fire."
A plain proposition I did not understand; I liked the
acrobats, flying and walking the wire.

She asked my permission and I granted it unknowing
that my path diverged that night, cool coals on the ground and
Early morning on the rise, I see more than just shadows now.
In Bulgaria, we walk the fire and our feet do not burn-
in twenty-years time, it will be my turn.

In a trance I spin and the music pumps loud,
"Aye dance", faster like Giselle; and sparks fly
as I kick the soil, embers in the air;
just putting on a show for the crowd.

The glory of tradition passed into me; the fury and
the light; the cool of a glacier in my core.
In Bulgaria, we walk the fire and our feet do not burn-
twilight to daylight, there are always more steps to learn.

Belted the blues but
Got rich instead.

“Dreamgirls” was successful
Supra-astoundingly
Like her baby within
Surprise from bed.
