Premium Member You Get What You Pay For

It’s a truism that you get what you pay for
Or vote for or ultimately what you deserve…
But when we pay illegal immigrants
To stay in five star hotels with pre-paid debit cards
And the homeless to just hang out with food stamps,
Cash handouts and Obama phones
What do we expect will happen
But for the problem to grow!
And so we watch a nation crumble
Under the weight of its own excesses
Fueled by bleeding hearts,
With blood collected in taxes
And just poured into the streets
And down the drain.
Where does it end you wonder,
Wherever the sewer takes US.

You Get What You Pay For - For Contest

The wizard just bought a cheap wand.
He knew right away he'd been conned.

A yellow Lab pup;
what it conjured up.

He'd asked for a young feisty blonde.

Premium Member A Gift You Are Holding

Watching t.v. makes me laugh sometimes
The things people said
"What do you expect for $ 26 a month?"
about a house in some countries
- a room actually
Yeah what do you expect?
The way he said it was actually funny
I like to laugh at people
Not laughing at them
But with them
There is a difference
I do laugh at them too
I am not a saint
"You get what you pay for
You know?"
Here he goes again
Some people are just too funny
I can't help it
"It's like a hotel" he said
"Private" - too funny
And another one goes
"life is never perfect"
Yeah you learn so much by watching t.v.
and everything else too
What did you learn?
I learn that life can be funny
with all the twits and twats
with all the geese and goose
with all the goosebumps and bags of chips
It's worth living
It's worth taking
Hold it with open arms
What is it that you are holding?
A gift - my friend - a gift

A Special Sale

Buy one and get one free
A special sale,but you can't buy me.
You had my heart and so much more
But you preferred the girl next door.

A very good price
But you know what they say
You get what you pay for
It shows everyday.

You can't send her back
you got her for free
The one that you paid for
Yes it was me!
I cost you time lost when you were with me.Your love and your laughter
was spent on me....

You get what you pay for.So now you're alone
Be careful for sales when theres no return.....

The Bargain

Everyone likes a good bargain
That's what life's about
But you still get what you pay for
In this we have no doubt

Too many times we see a deal
That's too good to be true
But you never get what you wanted
Or what they promised you

But I have found a bargain
That none should ever refuse
For it's already been paid for
And it something all can use

I'm talking about Salvation
When Jesus bought our sin
We can trade our pain and suffering
For a joy we feel within

We must consider this offer
For He offers it to us still
We can trade death for eternal life
That He bought on Calvary's Hill

You Get What You Pay For

The people are afraid of the change they see coming,
It is like the mask has been removed and the site is quite numbing.
The way I was taught was that the elected official was to be the voice of the masses,
But the ones we have elected now seem to be more like jackasses.

They seem to be determined to bury us all,
Bury us all with so much debt that it will be our downfall.
How can they give away money they didn’t have in the first place?
Personally I think they are only there for themselves and they’d cut off their own nose
just to spite their face.

The decisions they make are appalling and they say they are for our own good,
Why are they changing things we’ve lived with for over two hundred years, maybe I just
misunderstood.
Could be I’m just too old and don’t want to change,
Cause I will never accept things I know to be deranged.

I was taught never to let someone force stuff on me that I know is wrong,
And to me if it is not in the Bible it just doesn’t belong.
Someday we will all stand in judgment of the things that we do,
And I hope I have a front row seat when these politicians get everything they’ve got due
