If we'd lived in olden days
days of yore
the golden days
and I were a troubadour
I'd serenade you with my lute
unless I had a flute to toot
or go more than the extra mile
and sing a song to make you smile
not with the end of a lance
would I beg my lady's favour
but gallantly request a dance
mayhaps a carol we could savour
to fight and kill the dragon
and do it all with no fear
I'd pull Excalibur from the stone
for my dear Guinevere

God, take my hand when I breathe my last sigh.
Let me get on my knees and comply,
Weak and meek before Your Majesty.
Take me home so gallantly.
My spirit is so tired.
Life is short and so long too, so desired,
To be in my final destiny,
Rejoicing with the angels, their voices so velvety.
A brown-eyed angel follows me around;
The loss is so profound.
God walks warmly alongside death—
She whispers at your last breath.

O lady, banish my monochrome days
and weave your coppery threads into
a dim red florescence of coyote words;
There you stand draped in beige chiffon
against the Tomistic piety of a striptease sea
continuously playing with creamy pastels,
O lady, gallantly unleash your plump cherubs
and licentious cats with that Guerlain
je-ne-sais-quoi witchery of your vanilla
perfume darts; throw a rain-soaked
dusty rose like Madame Pompadour,
I am flying into the sugary abyss of setting suns,
My whole world is tinted in Bouchet’s
Prussian blue and silks of flickering coral
as the dragons keep fighting in the heavens
to bring us April showers and champagne pearls.

I still remember your easily smiling face, poetry spilling from your lips
Singing joyfully at the dead of night, not a care in the world.
Oh how I miss your face when it was alive,
When it was not hardened, frozen,
unfeeling.
Was it God’s love what drove yours away?
For what reason does the Sun rise; rousing this cold star?
Was it for this the bullets flew? Was England worth
Stealing your innocence away, carelessly, flippantly,
selfishly?
Our country is filthy with ignorance, the front clean and pure,
Snowy white feather mocking, girls giggling gallantly,
Surprise when I snarl, stumble back; shocked.
The Soldier's uniform staves off the dove,
its curse.
Desperately lingering in your gaze, I search in the abyss,
The most loving part of you asleep, or dead.
Nothing I can do can make it stir, still I reach for you,
Ragged, scarred skin, they’re only remnants of your service,
my dear.
The jolt of terror evoked not from your maimed face,
One side ripped, gouged of recognition, eye mangled,
But from the other, undamaged pupil unmoving,
Emotions missing, heart agape, your brain stone,
Empty.

affable aardvarks amused arbitrators
brash brazen baboons enjoyed escalators
careless careworn camels circled sissy
dark dusky deputies danced until dizzy
eccentric entertaining elephants enthusiastically embrace
faithful fashionable forest foxes follow a feverish face
gloriously gleeful gorillas gallantly grab a griping grouse
happily, hopeful, they can share with hippos, a house

An Alliterative Pursuit Of A Lover
I will firstly frankly forwardly forthrightly fastidiously befriend you.
Then I will completely correctly courteously candidly chastely court you.
Then whencesoever I have wonderfully wackily warmly wooingly won wed you,

Promised a honey baked life by Uncle Sam,
a V.A. loan, and a mini-van.
Three kids and a fenced yard.
It should be attainable to those who
worked so hard.
They served, they sacrificed as mother's wept,
came home to be forgotten to a government
that's inept..
Our unsung hero's who fought gallantly, are
supposed to be our nations first priority..

In the bare fields of Winter,
To be found are lessons tender.
Themes of life they gladly render;
Words of wisdom to saint or sinner.
They are prepared for any rhyme or reason.
Note how they portray rest and freedom.
Note how they endure the chilly season.
They do not feel locked in a prison.
They are at peace with last year's harvest.
The fields of Winter have given their best.
They rely upon nature and God to do the rest.
They fought gallantly against every harmful pest.
They receive and absorb the heavy assaults of rain.
They boldly shield themselves from the winds of pain.
Fields of Winter anticipate the Spring and its gains.
And they visualize the Fall fields of grain.

Her trace of terror remains in every home.
The fear of death lingers wherever she roams.
Although improved and four years removed,
We will always remember her tyrannical rule;
And never forget medics who labored gallantly
To halt the evil beast of death and travesty.

It burns its way out of wood
resembling a fiery rose,
and penetrates the gloom
with gleams and bloom.
It murmurs ceaselessly,
its breath an autumnal aroma,
with the finesse of melancholic nostalgia.
It contemplates constellations,
its eyes a myriad of reflective lanterns.
It rises and rises gallantly
like a summoned Phoenix,
sparkles and sways,
as if in delirium.
Its blaze
an avalanche of petals,
the color of sunset,
the perfume of ethereal catharsis.

like a hush …
sentinel …
the old willow stood guard
his branches, stout arms that held her
safe in childhood
supple limbs hugged and
flexed whene'er she sought blue sky
his embrace of lush fronds
let no rain wet her brow ...
their sweep offering but a kiss of gentle breath
and cool shade in the heavy
press of Summer heat
while shimmering strands of light
illumed her play time …
all her life he had gallantly charged her safety
but oh, how he weeped now from
his twisted old roots
as to-and-fro she swayed
at the end …
of a rope.

In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won’t turn into screams…
Out of body out of mind,
Wishing someone could be so kind…
As to for you to pray,
So that there as you lay,
You can have a safe night…
Out of darkness into light…
So tarry me the burden,
Of sending thousands of herdsmen…
To take me in the night,
Into the dark out of the light…
Save me the desperate trouble,
Burst not my fragile bubble,
Save for delightful dreams…
As the world around me gleams…
The gentle harvest moon,
Above me gallantly looms…
Drifting ever far away,
Into the stretching galactic array…
So I wish thee a fair night,
Out of darkness into light…

In the state known as the Land of the Kings
Is the city I belong to , the city my heart is within
Where royalty and regalty is in the air
Tales of Bravery and Heroism everywhere
The princely state , adorned with many cities
Rich Wildlife adding to the diversity
Home to the oldest mountain range : Aravali
Rajasthan is name of the state so godly
The city I live in , is called the pink city
Named after the color of hospitality
Known for its Pottery , Paintings and Jewellery
Leheriya and Bandhani sarees exhibiting feminity
Art and culture portraying vibrancy
Serving mouth watering palatable delicacies
Jaipur is known as the Island of Glory
The history of valor it gallantly carry
Sacred temples with their divinity
Forts and Palaces depicting surreal beauty
Emboiding with pride - the Rajputana ancestry
This is land soaked with the blood of victory

“For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.” Psalms 22:28 of the King James Bible
Governed by God to keep on going
guarded am I around His secured goodness…
Guided with the Saviour’s wisdom greatness
gallantly, my mind is taught with His truth-glow…
Goaded to become a blessing along the Holy Spirit’s goal
glad is my commitment toward kindness’ growth…
Granted with abilities to enhance along divine gifts
generously, my soul shares by the Lord’s grace…
Grateful that the Almighty’s girding
grips my heart for reaching-out gear...
Gleefully I pursue after ventures of eternal gleam
Grabbing service-opportunities while all my best, giving.

Grinning grasshopper gallops gracefully,
Getting garden grasses,
Gathering green grapes,
Grasping gorgeous goldenrods,
Grazing grand grounds,
Greeting greedy grubs,
Gliding gallantly...
Going,
Going,
Gone!
