There are many names for the common ‘Fart’
To name them all is quite an art
Let’s start off with good old ‘Smell’
Who it’s from we cannot tell
From the mouths of babes a ‘Pop Off’ comes
Always a giggle to all their chums
A ‘Blast Off’ is popular with the wee ones too
Often accompanied with “who’s done a poo”?
The ‘Clanger’ is popular with many a folk
Teenage boys and your average bloke
Grandma says can you please refrain
From letting ‘Fluffy off the Chain’
Here are some more just to name a few
There’s ‘Flatulence’, ‘Wind’ and ‘Air-Poo’

i lied.
I say he isn't on my mind...
i lied.
I say i moved on...
i lied.
I say i love you...
i lied.
I say that i'm okay...
i lied.
I say that i'm an adult...
i lied.
I say i'm ready...
i lied.
I say that i'm happy...
i lied.
I say i don't need you...
I lied.
I lied to you and...
you believed
How can you stop time?
The precious moments past and passing.
The wreathed faces of so many friends.
Snap shots, jogs to the imminent fog of age.
Can you stop time? Should you try,
so many pictures so little eye.
Will not the gentleness of time,
embellish with sweetness, mute like wine,
the twinkle in a deep chocolate gaze,
the John Wayne, macho man, of another’s ways?
Do I even want to share, to freeze
their countenances with greed?
To perform the SO human deed
to place their bubbling souls,
giggles from the mouths of babes
upon something as soulless, as cellulose?
