Premium MemberTreats For Kids

Before us lies a week of tricks or treats.
But I beckon you to join me in a time of treats.

Kids are presently tricked more and treated less.
In a season giving rise and unfolding evils yet untold,

May we extend to kids bags of sweets with no bitterness.
And we pray that God will hold back the curtain of darkness.

Hush Little One

Hush little one
Hush little one
Nap time is here
Hush little one
Hush little one
Please have no fear
Close your eyes tight
Dream a nice flight
So, hush little one,
Hush little one
Nap time is here

Sex Education For Kids

A day at the zoo can be tough
As animals tend to play rough
So mom said, "Whoa!
Its time to go!"
When bull elephants did some stuff

Premium MemberThese Are For Kids

These are for kids out in the cold and the rain. Telling them everybody's the same. Don’t for a distance in a no dare of more. The hall for all answers yet a look at the floor. These are with deadlines in the can’t make every care. Telling them next in a better to share. Long and a hard glance for no chance with a grip. Tall tales and no fun in an always our flip. Makes for a true model yet in a car with a steal. Run down an alley for a life less of feel. These are not answers yet the question’s a guess. Takes on a childhood that is yours at a bless. More in a less frame for your time with a stand. Then in the best name for a fine then a man. These are not questions yet the gun's with a view. Theirs is the future in the no next to you. It tell's of a test lane for a ride in their strife. You in a distance for the kid with a life. No or a maybe it’s your call at a home. Left for the kids who stand naked alone. These are for kids out in the cold and in pain. Telling us not everbody's the same!

Premium MemberSit Down the Genii Told the Pirate King

Scrambling onto the rich green and purple magic carpet,
I waited in eager anticipation, for her golden threads fascinated me.
“Quiet!” the pirate king cautioned.
Reading mirth in my mind?
I turned and smiled.
The carpet started off, and I promptly sat.
I grabbed the genii’s leg as I fell and he smacked me.
“Sit down!” the genii told the Pirate King.
Pirate King laughed.
He was not used to orders.
He fell off twice.
The first time we swooped down and saved him.
I imagine he thought we would do it again,
but we didn’t.
I stared at genii.
No worries, he told me. I will turn him into an eagle,
and he did.

Premium MemberI Celebrated My Mother's Birthday

I celebrated my mother’s birthday by taking a walk,
reveling in her knowledge of every kind of tree.

I celebrated my mother’s birthday with my dog,
who understood my sadness that I could not be there.

I celebrated my mother’s birthday by
smelling roses, celebrating their scent, which she adored.

I celebrated my mother’s birthday by
smiling at young children, remembering how kind she was to them

I celebrated my mother’s birthday by
saying a prayer that she was having a great time without me

I celebrated my mother’s birthday by
laughing full out at funny things that happened that day

I celebrated my mother’s birthday
by being myself and enjoying the day fully

I celebrated my mother’s birthday
knowing that she was having a terrific day, and I was too.

Premium MemberI Cannot Outguess This Dog Today

Sophie Dog is excited beyond belief
No idea what she has heard, but she is barking like crazy
Sometimes a large truck puts her into this kind of frenzy

The way she runs up the driveway, I am expecting to see
Dracula with a mountain lion chaser, coming to bite my neck
She is gone an extra long time, too long. I start to worry

But she comes running onto the porch from the opposite direction
So I know she has run around the house, and maybe further.
She is by herself. She growls at Shark K. Cat for putting her claws on the glass door.

A motorcycle buzzes up the road. Usually this puts her into berserk mode.
It does not today. She starts drinking water like a colt that has never had a drink.
A Mack truck goes by, and she ignores it too. I cannot outguess this dog today.

Nowhere Now For Kids To Hide

Nowhere now to hide,
Fearing for their hide,
Every time they go for a ride.

Few doors to hide behind,
As open plan puts them one step behind
While governments and councils close their doors and their mind.

Not the right food to get to get them out of the starting block,
For a run around the block,
Should come as no shock.

Have we forgotten that open spaces used to be all outside?
And most windows had trees outside,
With mostly enough hiding places inside.

When our parents had calmed down,
Their frowns turned upside down,
No longer in danger of wearing a set of handcuffs downtown.

Why then are we hot on removing hiding places,
As even big faces sometimes need hiding places,
So we can all live to see other smiling faces.

Premium MemberRhondhouse Rhonda Dances For a Dime

Roundhouse Rhonda dances for a thin dime.
She’s at the laundrymat all of the time.
It’s kind of funny,
All about money,
A dollar would give you a spin sublime.

Premium MemberIn the Corner Again

Why are we in the corner again? The child asks his Daddy.
Daddy shrugs. “I guess Mommy likes us here,” he replies.
“What did we do this time?"

“NO idea,” Daddy says.
“Same time next Saturday?” the child asks.

“Sure,” Daddy agrees.
Typical day with Godzilla-wife-Mommy.

Premium MemberGrandma's Singing Prodigy

She came out of the chute with a song in her brain.
She sang it all the way home, leaving hospital, during a big rain.
How old is she? Her pleased grandma asked.
Twenty-six hours, her Dad and Mom basked.

She’ll be a singer. She is already a star!
She is better than you, Grandma said, “And I mean by far!”
The new parents laughed, a little nervously.
They knew how pushy this mama could be.

She had her in Vegas by the time she was four.
She had her dancing burlesque, and other stuff to deplore.
She sneaked her in, and she claimed she was her mother.
They learned her real age, after they located her brother.

Her irritated, exasperated mommy and daddy got on a plane,
They flew out to Vegas to rescue, their child, no longer tame.
The grandma got arrested, and put in Naughty Grandma Jail.
And if you believe this, you are now being swallowed by a whale.

Funny, a Rhyming Friend For Kids

Hi, I am Funny. Will you be my friend?
Let's us rhyme until the day ends.
Try to find a meaning for my name. Putting the letters down in a straight line.
Find a word with that first letter is the game, and you have to make it rhyme.

F for fun, my name says it all.
U is for Unicorn. does it exist at all?
N is for now. The time we are meant to spent.
N is for new. Funny, your new friend.
Y is for you. Smart and quick.
Let's try another name. What shall we pick?

How about my cat named floppy.
He likes to creep up to me, quietly.
He loves to eat his treats and nap.
And he only drinks water from the tap.

F is for fur. It keeps him warm.
L is for lightning, he dislikes during the storm.
O is for open. Where he likes to be on a sunny day.
P is for patio. Where he loves to rest and lay.
P is for purr. The sounds he makes when we cuddle.
Y is for yawn. After a tiring day playing with bubbles.

A rhyme can be a fun way to talk.
It's like hopping when you walk.
It gives rhythm to the words you speak,
Let's try another one. Why not you pick?

Cocaine For Kids

Cut me a line and I'll hang myself, I 'll take a toke and choke myself. Where will the saga end? When I fall in the commode ? I didn't take life seriously, I didn't give a crap. Now the time has come, I want my life back. I didn't want to listen, I thought I knew it all. I never thought in a million years my drugs would make me fall. The clock is a tickin. The window is on the pain, I look in the mirror, and wonder, will my life be in vain. I want my sobriety back, this is my curtain call. I am the only player, I'm too young to fall.

Premium MemberChristmas Poems For Kids and Teenagers: 4 Hours To Christmas

It’s eight, I’m waking up late
the aroma of mummy’s fry
gives me so much joy to cry

It’s nine, admiring my gifts so fine
counting the time to display
this, I’ve been hoping since may.

It’s ten; guess who’s here; Uncle Ben
can’t wait for his Biblical stories
as the Kitchen scents with currys

It’s eleven; I wished for this hour since seven
dancing through the city square
I’m so happy Life is fair.

Hurray! It’s Christmas
and I don’t want it to pass
so thank you Jesus, for this gift of Love!
