You left with the first autumn leaves

Your hair smells
of conifer forests
and the Michaelmas summer
that I nurture on my palms.

Winter is looming,
they cut down the trees.

Knitting

Knitting gives me pleasure.
Keeping me occupied.
Keen to create with some
Kaleidoscope colors.
Knowing cold winter has
Kinfolk's teeth chattering.
Knackered knitting for them.

First Love

Heart pounding like thunder,
Cheeks heating up like the light touch of the sun,
Tummy tickling by the wings of butterflies.
Body getting chills all over as if Winter is about.
The feelings you get at first love.

Soothing

Tasting your soul
How it drizzles on my tongue
Like caramel in the sun
More like hot chocolate in the winter
Warming my body
I'm loving the steam from your heart
As it tickles my nose
When you are near me
Like the wind that surrounds us
My heart echos your name
As my lips soothes your skin

Avalanche

Resting beneath this heavy avalanche
My heart turned from summer to winter
Ice caused my lips to blanch
Couldn't get enough by the shudder.

My feet got cold as they were exposed
To season's numb disposition
But my love for her didn't repose
Though I was losing my recognition.

Time and again, without even refrain
The end was running closer to me
My wicked body benumbed, couldn't feel pain
Yet my heart was still yearning to thee.

Thawed

I ignite in a blur of
Dark charcoal, charred, chiseled into
Gentle locks that wrap around my cold fingers
Like metal curls when heated.
His fresh, baked gingerbread warms my
Crystalized, blue frosting, cool ice in my eyes
And the time frozen in place.
Roasting, red blushes burn passion
And steam frigid air ’til my breath is thawed so
Those who chilled it cannot see,
And the biting winter outside
Cannot faze the hot summer alit in me.

Another Day

Sun goes down,
                          another day,
out of my mind,
                         there is no way.
beautiful face,
                          a different guy.
keep my heart,
                         You know why.
Winter comes,
                         two years ago,
foolish girl,
                          won't let go
he doesn't care,
                         get over it,
Lock it up,
                        all this s**t.

The Time We Talked

I remember the first time I talk to you
That day I was in hurry
Your voice is soft and calming
"Do you want to go to winter bash with me ?"
I remember I was nervous
Shaky word came out:
"Yes..."
Even in the back of my mind I want to say no
But something different was out of my mouth
Probably was your gentle smile
Or was your charming eyes
Or those chubby hands were holding mine
But I am glad I didn't say no
Because that became my most precious memory.

Love, Your Vibrational Sounds

Echoing all around
Beauty of Winter stream
Frozen droplets seen
Birds from the forest
Greeted our tourists
My Creator, my heart
You are Master of fine art
Our harmony accords
Glory to you my Lord
Purity of life
It is you, Jesus Christ
With love we replenish
Your heart we have kept as precious
Honor to our faith
Heavenly Father preciously gave
Glory to delight
Many are in sight
Embraced by God's love
Heavenly blessed from above
We are beloved
Deliver them our love

Made Magic Come Alive

You can listen with your heart.
You can see with more than sight.
You can stand taller than your height when you let your dreams take flight.

You can feel the beats of sound
You can stop and hold all time
Capture a nation with a smile
Inspire so, so many minds

Your grace is of the butterfly
Brought tears to many grown mens eyes.
You humble heart shines like any star in any sky.

A Rose blooming under winter skies in these days of darker times.
You have made magic come alive.

Rose and Giovanni.

Your Heart In Me

Wondering where you are tonight?
Under the starlight I sail so bright
Rowing on surface waters that haunt me
Your faces on calm waters showing me

With my oars I hold so tight
Like your hold in me that caresses me
Winter dew that chills at night
Your heart in me, snugging me

Darkness now crawling on land and seas
On this river fitful hours spooking me
As birds and bees hiding in waft trees
Nearness of you following me

Winding, reaching the river bottom
Standing in white is cladding me
Over troubled waters you're standing over gollum
Your heart in me that's shielding me

Trapped On Those Winter Nights

My heart is traped like a winter storm traps you inside your house, my mind is solid like ice crystals, my soul can't feel because it's Numb inside. These winter nights are silent when all you can hear is the wind blowing the snow around, with whispers of loneliness. My soul is traped in these cold nights, when there's no where to run. My eyes try to water when tears are about to run down my face but the chill in the wind makes my eyes stop. My eyes are blind with my soul being numb, and my mind is solid like ice crystals, because of these lonely winter nights. My heart is still traped, as these winter night continue to be lonely.

We Can See Time

We walk in wonder listening to the stream
The birds that flit, the grass so green
We breathe the air and see the colours of the sky
But do we ever really know who we are, you or I

We listen to the quiet in the night
We hold onto our joy with all our might.
But do we see darkness when it comes
Or does fate play that hand when it wants

We feel the cold in the winter sky
We know our hold onto this life
With love we find the path so strong
With love we know where we belong

The stars are out there night on night
We can see time in this dark of light
Does it make you shudder when you understand
That time owns you like it owns every woman and every man.

Winter Chills

Winter Chills
likely crept up on me
I shivered,
less than a snowman name Frosty
but breathlessly magical than the beginning of Winter Chills

Winter Chills
I breathe contagiously for
like snowflakes or more than the noise it gives rise to
my heart skips a beat
more than once for
Winter Chills

Winter Chills
tonight, on this eve is obviously illuminated
for my mystifying bones are undermining my strength of
passion for Winter Chills

Winter Chills
you solidified on this winter eve
lastly, my eye beholds a shiver coming from you
behold this sensation, bundle up
and carry on with
Winter Chill's

Wish Upon a Star

One day I wished upon a star to send me a love from afar.
I wished for a love with bright red hair.
Hair as red as a bright winter fire.
I wished for him to have lips as juicy as strawberries and
eyes as brown as an autumn leaf that falls to the ground.
I wished for him to have a touch as gentle as a cool summer breeze,
I wanted him to knock me to my knees.
Little did I know I had already found my bow!
We danced and talked under that bright star I wished upon until the early dawn.
I was lucky to have the star that fateful night, for I found the love of my life that night!

Pot of Food

Pot of food
Poem
Lionel Derbyshire

Our pot too whoo
You home through the storm
I am in .. you are out
Lighting strikes again
The maple tree is terrified
The dogs are petrified.
The window's fear
The thunder near
The cat runs
under the table.
Hearty beef stew
boiling stable.
Misty you sway
wet back to me.
My heart in hope
For lightning to miss you.
My hope is heard.
The fire keep's it burn
This warm house
Your winter food
Waits on the stove
Wanting you to get home.
This winter storm
A jealous woman
To strike and divide us
To be seperate.

I see a frame
You dripping at the door.
Our beef is warm
Like love
We beat the storm
And a hearty beef
Right in our home.

Mating Rituals

The warm evening breeze
Caresses my skin as I sit
Beneath the old garden elm.

The chatter of birds echoes
Through the trees as they perform
Their spring mating ritual.

Redbirds, mocking-jays, and hummers
Scurry from limb to limb, jealously
Chasing foe from new-found lovers.

Enjoying the serious antics,
I hear the voice of the mourning dove
Calling its forever mate in the distance.

My thoughts turn to my own mate.
No longer within my sight
I remember your every detail as last seen.

You have left me as a bird in winter:
Sure to return to this nest
As time marches slowly,

And yet I ponder the burning question
Weighing upon my soul.
"Did you take out the trash, Dear?"

Waiting For I Love You

Is there a reason why I'm here?
Is it to cry a thousand tears?
He doesn't love me
this I know,
But my love for him will always grow.
And during the Winter snow,
My love for him will still show.

	In the hot summer nights,
it will be a fight,
to keep my tears from flowing all night.
And when a star falls out of sight,
I will still say,
I wish I may,
I wish with all my might,
to have him fall in love with me tonight.

I begged and pleded with my heart,
Not to let this love for him start.
I should have been smart,
I should have stayed away.
Now I'm older and my hair has turned a dull gray.
I still stand by the bay,
Waiting for him to say,
I love you
And in your loving arms
Is where I will forever stay.

Winter Torched

Therefore as my heart beats for you and you only..(he's thinking)
(She knows assuming?) as she smirks while her fire-red hair ignites more than her surrounding
Yet the room is ready for a bong fire as her hair throws off more than this room can give off its space
Panic arises for there's no circulation in this tiny dungeon and I can't seem to breathe (he's acknowledged as she)
The fire is ready to set within flames and melt this Winter down
A candle burning near doesn't have a chance against tonights winter sonnet(shes considering)
Yet ready to consider for thee,
Thou my heart beating for her and her only will tame this flame(he knows)
My heart beats for her and her only(he still knows)
My heart beats for him and him only(she knows )
He grins thus Winter for MB"19"

323

323 years later,
His tearfully beautiful melody and jaw dropping harmony takes me to the most prettiest places and pulls me through the darkest places.
The music he writes is like,
Coming in from the winter cold during the day, snow left untouched with a beautiful glow coming off, and slipping on a cup of coffee or hot chocolate while dancing around in my coziest socks, no pants with my ice cube shirt on.
His music has always given me that mmmm feeling when the morning coffee hits just right.
That's what him and his music does to me.

His voice is so velvety through my phone when he calls.
I know places and bars we can go too just to be alone
And I wonder if he'd save me from this wave that has over taken me.

Singing in his basement at 12 midnight
to his song I wear around my neck.

My Man

MY MAN My man, now, I will close my starry eyes. Catch... As I'll held my hand to yours. Quench my emptiness with your heart. Each heartbeat may it etch, no depart... My man, oh how I long to be like this, All of a sudden, summer and winter collide. Bringing autumn and spring in one be nearer. nearer... nearer as you please. My man, you and me in bone-melting bliss Stars whisper bright of blooming love kiss Next to God, you're my fortress, my air, my life From darkness thorns to daylight rose, no strife My man, hold on, cling tight. Never forgo. Together, we can soar like pigeon's flights.. Intentional Winters

We spoke loud ripping through layers of insecurities and shadows. Unrecognizable at the reflection of what once was memories to be kept ,we weep. The thought of reviving what we thought would never die is a challenge unmatched and yet we fight. Using only what we know as weapons our emotions those poison thoughts in which charge up the ego and unleashes devastating blows to the heart ,the one thing that makes beautiful songs when cared for. A mysterious feeling of uncontrolled passion the highs and the lows and yet so cold like winter storms with no heat on the freezing nature that causes pause to time, only for a moment when the low sets in and the glass shatters from all the pressure when darkness sets in after the fire dies down that black soot awaking every feeling of disparities fear the realization that all that release really meant the let go the finally and for what intentional winters ended up just breaking a heart.

Your Countenance

To look upon your countenance is all that I desire

To sit with you and hold your hand by this red winter fire

But you are now so far away,I do not recognise

Those features dear to me and your deep blue eyes.

You had a merry cheerful soul and loved all your friends

You may have loved your enemies,to wit I'll not descend.

I heard your voice one morning late,I heard you clear your throat.

I hastened down the stairs and found that old brown winter coat.

I put the coat near to me and felt salt tears slip down

They ran across my face and dripped onto that old coat brown

The memories seem too few,my dear, though we had happy times.

And now I must be going and I'll finish off this rhyme.

So many years a part of me,the hole with sorrow filled.

I'll sit and gaze at these bare trees until my heart is stilled

Goodbye, goodbye , goodbye my love my dearest one.

I'll try to start my life again, accepting that you're gone.

I'Ll Be Your Girl For All Season

I'll be your girl for the spring time when the flowers are in bloom, we'll wonder through the meadow, strolling hand and hand to smell the sweet perfumes, of the flowers and every night I'll hold you tight underneath the April moon light. I'll be your girl for all 4 seasons all the way through, because I'd love to be everything for you. I'll be your girl for the summer, so we can walk on the beach and play in the sand together. We'll spend the days together maken love and getting a tan, on the beach at sun set we'll be strolling hand and hand. I'll be your girl for all four season's all the way through, because I love to be everything for you. I'll be your girl for all four season's during the fall and if you fall down, I will pick you back up. I'll be your girl during the season of winter, when the snow falls on the ground so we can cuddle by the fire, and keep each other warm, so you'll know I will always be around. I'll be your girl for all four season's all the year through.

By Julie McKoon
I hope it sounds like a poem now.
I do try, to make sense.

What I Am To You

Winter leaves but you’re here to stay…
The one I loved – you are my prey…

The walls before me shake
A back so bare can slowly break…
I can hear the cracks and the ones in your voice,
But the fate He gave – it’s not my choice,

I can talk but words cover my voice
To the people I hate – to the people I love,
These words I speak – they are just noise…

I can paint my fingers and color your soul-
I could give you my arms
I could give you my love…
These rules that your peers had start’
Two different hearts,
Each parted; two different parts.

I can give you a kingdom,
I could give you the sun…
But with a person like me?
What am I to you? What do you see?

Who am I?
A question you’d have to ask…
But with stupidity like yours,
You’re in the middle of the sea and I am at shore.
I am at the mountain peak which you cannot see,
I am.
I am a wonder you won’t solve!
This mind of yours, this soul and heart,
With me it can evolve-
But with the rules you have,
And an ego as a shield,
With a mind like that…
True love is what you cannot feel…
