Raja, our soft precious fluffer nutter,
for you, I always melt like love butter.
Simply watching you sends me aflutter.
With tail up high, you are a grand strutter.
You are the best dog we have ever known.
Your intelligence is frequently shown.
That cover is only now and then blown,
like when trapped in a plastic bag hole zone.
You fetch, heal and we all think, sometimes speak;
'I muve you', 'mello' and 'melp' sound unique.
At times I think your talk is tongue and cheek.
You tell and show all our doors you WILL peak.
Unlike most felines, you hang with your peeps.
Together, more pack love flows for our keep.
You stay to play, talk, groom, perhaps lap sleep
and for popcorn, cheese or yogurt to reap.
Now thirteen, you want a new mattress share,
between us, on our pillows and my hair.
Knowing what you do not, I hold you there
to memorize you for my heart's layers.
whimsy and fantasy are for a fluffer
I am a concrete wall, none of that for me.
No weird nicknames like little duffer.
I’m hard and rough and coarse as I can be.
Don’t try to soften me up or make me smile.
I am not happy, merry, excited or gay.
Your cagey ways you need to back pedal dial.
I’m strict and staunch and mean-like; and I like it that way!
Dedicated to Mati, our Black Angora Beauty
Awesome soft, like butter
A cute fluffer-nutter
Adult itty-bitty
Able playful hunter
Alert loving kitty
An active stunner and
Adorable wonder
When I was a child
I loved marshmallows
so soft, so gooey and yummy
Oh I'd beam out of doors
when the birch stick bore
charred marshmallow goop
for my tummy!
When I was a child
I would go hog wild
for peanut butter and fluff
all that white marshmallow
in which I'd wallow
my mouth all covered
in sticky stuff!
My Mom often spread
the white Fluff on bread
with peanut butter galore
And we'd bypass the meat
for this sticky treat
and scream for her to
buy much, much, more!
But you see Mom knew
that good food it's true
can make children strong unlike
those sweet Fluffer-Nutters
so we had to contend
with the meat in the end
if we wanted that treat
from our Mother!
