Well done, CayCay! Is the picture posted of your cat? We just had to put our 13 yr old cat down a few days ago. He was solid black but not fluffy like the cat in the picture. Congrats on a well written Pleaides! Thank you for supporting my contest. Blessings!

Dear Kim: Loving a cat, losing a cat and all that's in between are heart deep emotions we treasure and keep. They are family, precious and tender fluffs of joy enhancing our lives, even when they are gone, we can feel them. I know you and your family hurt, but only because you loved - such a ride, huh? I loved this cute Pleiades CayCay. I have noticed that some are using ajectives as their titles instead of the subject. I don't think they are aware that this form is somewhat like an acrostic which requires the subject be the title. Yours is perfect because you have your subject as your title. This form is challenging because of its strict syllable count and same first letter in each line. Yours is exceptional CayCay! Congratulations on your well-deserved placement! ; ) 7

I dislike cats (immensely thanks to trauma suffered as a young hamster owner back in 1992) but I loved your poem. Excellent!

I added a pic of Mati, but it doesn't show her fluffy bloomers and tail! Because Angoras do not have an under coat, their long silky fir doesn't matt. Mati knows the word brush and she loves how it feels. A family moved out of our apartment complex and just left her. We've had her well over a year and our best guess is that she's two. Our blessing, I'm crazy in love with her, though she favors Tim big time and is 'dog-like' in her attention to him. Hugs ... CayCay
