Ten unread messages and nine missed calls later
I finally texted eight friends to call you a lying traitor.
Please don’t leave me, I’m not strong enough to grieve
Our seven birthdays together or the six promises that you would never leave.
You bought your ticket with a five then took my heart away for free.
My watch struck four, but you had disappeared by three.
As the hours went on, I stared fixedly ahead at the sun
And slowly lost sight of you while two sets of footprints became one.

As a wise old owl
From a branch of a tree.
With eyes wide open
Looked at me
Intently, with his big staring eyes
What is he trying to analyse
What thoughts are coming into his mind
What information will he find?
From staring fixedly at me
To add to this Owl's vocabulary.
That he will hide behind his eyes
Eyes that we humans think
That makes all Owls look wise.

FIRE AND BRIMSTONE
Whitened collar, fixedly starched
To the ultimate limits of self-perfection,
Points righteous, crooked finger
At an open-mouthed assembly,
Crouching beneath thick-
Eyebrowed gaze of a dark
Frock-coated scarecrow.
His cackling voice emits
Hollowed-out squawks,
Casting lines of invective
Like steel confetti
Into the ironic celebration
Of a judgemental wedding
For outsiders, condemned
Beyond the pale.
Heaven is expunged by murkiest haze of hell,
Begrimed in dark, closed-off shades,
A treacherous welcome for
Those who smear themselves
With so much intrigued slime of purest evil,
Cloaked with superior innocence
For the delightful delectation
Of ascetic, hair-shirted fools.

C’est la vie, Billy!
His cheeks a deep scarlet,
His jaw tightened in an eerie grin,
He stands, rooted to the spot
While the snot in his nose
Like a long gooey
Streak of
Chewing-gum
Slowly comes dripping
Onto his dappled T-shirt,
and his eyes, like dazzling agates,
Fixedly follow the interminable course of
The red rubbery ball
As the projectile
In a deafening clash,
Smashes the headmaster’s office window.

Wandering through the memories, the old couple smiled
Observing fixedly the wedding album kept as a treasure
Naming the photographs that were taken for the leisure
Dwelling on the mind the years that were far in the time
Emerging a wish that will strength their lasting romance
Renewing their vows as a proof of a true love existence
Finalizing the commitment they pledged fifty years ago
Unveiling the devotion and admiration that did not go
Lasting forever until the last day of their existences

If you were to embrace me one moment,
I would melt in the fissures of your throbbing prestidigitation
My heart would dare not let me see the poison you excrete
My mind would make excuses, to be in your arms again
Devil! how you break me down so lovingly,
With fingers so candid on my gyrating frame
I am frightened by the chords you play on me
With those magic lips and that impassioned tongue
I befall speechless as I clutch you
Your auspicious words keep me partially consolidated,
As I tremble with every whisper in this gelatinous agitation
I mean to divorce my pleading fervor so that I may breathe
And overcome this pressing desire to please you
Devil! how you weigh me down so blithely,
I cringe, and I recoil—you merely close in
With certainty you plunge unwavering
Your sorcery slaying all of my resistance
If I were to embrace you again,
The fires of promise you enchant me with would die, and slowly
The ice of your soulful lies would shatter my mind, so fixedly
And my stubborn heart would cry, cursedly,
“You have endured thus far, and forever always!”

I see the one who stands beneath the shaded tree,
and fixedly watches the ripples on a stream
till the dusk of day has fallen, and nature
pulls its darkened curtain across the colored heavens.
I see the one who sits upon the cypress breast,
and with her slender finger touches the earth,
and from her heart creates the thoughts
embedding her with sadness.
Then with another finger yet,
the gently brushes from the earth
the thoughts she had transmitted upon the reddened clay.
As is to say, “I’ll keep the secrets of my sorrows
with nature’s heart alone.”
From her cheeks she wipes away the stinging tears,
which fill her limpid eyes and form the wetting pearls.
They never die, they never fade,
but renew themselves each time she thinks upon her sorrows.
When the day had died
and sun has sunken from the western mount,
she gazes at the distant hills with all their beauty abound
she sees with painful sigh.
Yes, I know the one who shares her every sorrow
with nature’s understanding heart, for this is where
her strength will grow to meet tomorrow’s trial.

Standing statuesque
At the traffic lights
With my sign in hand
My banner
With my shield I stand
Begging for alms
Asking for care
For you to care
As you fixedly stare
In another direction
You have edited me out
You see me but not
I have been removed
I have been photoshop’ed
I am an un-person to you
Sadness my mask
Desperate my task
As a few coppers
And for you to care
Is what I ask
I have tried humour
(Ninjas that kidnapped)
I have tried a moral stance
(I beg as I refuse to steal)
But all in all
It is my appeal
(Not to beg and not to steal)
I appeal to your mercy
I appeal to your love
I appeal to your caring
I appeal to your attention
Yet you have edited me out
Even though
I am an angel…

Ooh, the sky
carrier of my favourite colour,blue
Whenever i feel down and blue
All I gotta do,is look up to you
And all my problems reduce leaving only a few
I envy the birds who fly through you
Sometimes,I search through words to describe this feeeling, praying to find a clue
But the search is often fruitless, for words cannot describe you
You are so close to the place of peace
Now,I no longer have bad thoughts,or feelings of sadness
'Cause just thinking about your glory gives my heart happiness
Sometimes, when my eyes stare fixedly into you,I instantly receive a thousand fears
But that can never be compared to your showers of love and care
It is so wonderful that I find you everywhere
I wonder and ponder, would you ever grow old?I guess not even in a thousand years.

Your sweet kiss on my lips
Your tongue caressing my cheek
Your hands running over my body
Fixedly grasping my hot flesh

About to entrap you

THE WATCHING WINDOWS
City of a million windows all lit up
At the hour of vermilion dusk
The void dims into deep violet
With great horizontal bands of inky blue-black
Clouds - harmless, unmenacing -
Yet determined to block the last efforts of the sinking sun.
And the windows add their puny effort -
Their muted clarinets - to the strains of
The fading golden orchestra’s brassy finale.
Little yellow squares all watching me watch them :
Close fellows staring fixedly into my bedroom;
More distant cousins already blinking with sleep.
Windows in vertical piles waiting to
Be darkened as the clock hands sweep
Up the last vestiges of day,
And switch on the tiny fiery flares
Over the blue-black vault : watchful figures,
Ever-vigilant, never sleeping, windows of the sky.

Under the Constellation of Poets I see,
All I can say is, "O' boy, Wee!"
God is so good to me!
It is like Poetry Heaven & now I have the poetic key.
How the writings once were bottled up in me.
Now,
They are set free.
Nevertheless,
Infant I am among thee.
Seizing myself back in the rhyming meek joyfully.
My eyes cannot help but to look fixedly on the uncommonly called.
Embracing courage from my new found friends.
'Seriousness' conquers my blood vein rapidity as loving muse comes to me;
Poetry Soup,
Taste is not of one,
But many flavors to prevail over famine-reading,
Readers delight of endless banquet of poetry.
Fear not when one choose this or that,
Where one cannot reach words to the reader,
Another sees to their need.
Encourage one another in the poetic cyber-space.
Passed the grammar & writing mistakes.
Read between the lines of the poet's heart.
Friendly correction aides in poetical maturely.
Love,
Not hearing what I desire,
But what I need to grow in the Poet's Fire.
Now lay myself to dance is the moment within this hourglass,
Sharing with you all,
Common goals.
"Lord, what do You think? I'm I growing up yet?"
