Crime Don’t Pay
Limerick: by Miracle man
October 5 2021

I once knew a man named Billy Bob,
who would borrow, five finger, and rob.
Apprehended with this loot,
he donned an orange suit,
stamping car tags is now his day job.

Song of a Traveling Man

I flop at truck stops
hid by other sleeping truckers.
I like the loneliness.
Amarillo, Detroit, Tacoma, Richmond,
places packed and stacked
with the bad and the good.
I scoot by paying no heed,
to features, just forms,
how bodies once glimpsed
sometimes return inside of me.
Cities of light, death-heads hidden
no one is looking.
I’m not looking either — just driving through,
hauling and honking.
No one looking.
Launderettes and liquor stores;
five finger fandangos in the back,
chicken wings and Jack D.
Atlantic City, Apalachicola,
soaking in the slipstream
while America looks somewhere else.
What are you watching America?
Sometimes I think
only the coyotes are paying attention.
Roads thread through my fingers.
The Great Lakes shimmer,
Rockies rear-up and ripple.
Moving along not looking,
just driving.
Old men on benches stare
as I hammer on by, and blare,
as if I were an 18-wheeled rolling exhibit
of America itself.

Kung Fu Kong

Sharp as a whip, and not really drunk,
the drunken monk
has the sober monkey on his back.
A cylinder of mighty words
chained to a cylinder of craft and trickery,
behold the clever nunchucks,
I don’t follow the trickery, perhaps you do,
the blank look on your face, though,
suggests that you probably don’t.
Monkey be still,
Five Finger Shush Punch,
we’ve been bamboozled, you know.
A gorilla in a china shop
is smarter and more dexterous
and, by extension, more destructive
than a bull in a china shop,
but he also understands close to none of it,
he’ll randomly smash it as he pleases.
Nothing too clever, please,
Five Hammer Crunch Punch,
we’ve been bludgeoned, you know.

Party Favors

Spin the bottle ...
give some unlucky lips a drunken kiss
Pin the tail on the donkey;
though you didn’t miss
on purpose you bosom grope insist,
when you stagger slipped
Tilt the bottle ...
pour liquid social stumbles into short cups
Place your hand on a spandex rear end,
and get a five-finger hard slap on cheek rebuff
Now some hubby is miffed
Romance the bottle ...
as you begin serenading the lamp,
the room starts spinning darkly too
Then you go doggy low,
and heave-ho on the carpet floor
Wiping your mouth
on some pretty leggings,
sitting on a barstool nearby you
That gets you the bouncer lift
Don’t give party favors
nobody asked for
Or you might get a swift boot in the behind,
and a hard kick out the door
Even worse,
you might get a sore jaw
and a liniment-approved black eye
Gaze into the crystal bottle ...
and understand the pariah reason why

Down For the Count

How can I poet slam them politrician liars,
let me count the ghetto ways
In the calendar of infinity,
there are how many days?
Forever and a clean smile,
I love doing this dirty job
Putting snake eyes down for the count
gives me spiritual rise ...
make me wanna eagle mount
Politricians ain’t gonna tell you the truth —
why should they,
they get paid by the filthy lucre dime
Farted out serpentine suits and blood splat boots,
cheap designer lies is a moral fashionista crime
Strip away the fancy honorifics,
empty titles that don’t carry no righteous weight
Politricians ain’t nothing but two-faced whores
looking for another voter sin paid date,
to put a five finger pinch on the tax collection plate
How can I poet slam dim politrician liars,
let me count the True Light wattage ways
In the cosmic year of supernova,
the Second Coming is the end of the last demonic days
Down for the count,
the wicked forever unable to rise
Dropped by a straight right cross TKO,
defeated by a crucifixion surprise

Five Finger Death Punch

Treading along the avenues of iniquity
The downbeat of mollifying choruses alleviate my ears
Ambivalent logic scours my cerebellum
A frown composed of disdain surfaces
Whilst I seek a hero amongst such strange clouds
I covet to taste of the superlative pleasures ‘tis Mother Earth
Though I am left to contemplate when next my happenings

Peace

hunger sets in
and i was never good a sleep
but theres nothing to eat
mr.noddles for weeks
one pack a day
it was winter
and we we'er broke
hey look the shoe's
are falling off my feet
broken home
problems at school
hey i was smoken at ten
five finger was the game
i placed
that and river play
just the games we played
in the land of the broken toys

It's Never Enough!

***Based off the song by Five Finger D**th Punch and dedicated to those boys/bullies at my
school who think they can just beat me up because I have life problems and I am weak and
could hurt me Physically,Mentally and Emotionally....You were soooo wrong....***

I gave you what you told me you wanted and needed
But yet you wanted even more
So then I would find myself in trouble with you and your friends
And by time you were done my mind was screwed up more,
My emotions isolated And my skin ripped open with black and purple spots all over my body
I told yet you only got a laugh and a pat on the back
I got in to trouble and called a little liar

But you hurt me once too many times one day
The day when my friend had shot himself
And the day I first self-distructed myself
With a rusted pair of sissors I found a way to cope
And allI had to do was take them and slice hard, fast and deep
For me to feel numb and isolated once again....

I hope that your guys's day comes and hits you with a BIG HUGE BANG!
And that I am there to see it all...

Five Finger Discount

(This is a fictional poem)

While we were shopping, you tried to steal a bracelet that was worth a lot.
But before you could get out of the store, you got caught.
They thought I was an accessory so they prosecuted me as well.
I'm mad because you got me arrested so you can go to hell.

This incident has caused me a great deal of grief.
My girlfriend dumped me because she thinks I'm a thief.
You may not realize it but stealing is a sin.
It will be a cold day in hell when I go shopping with you again.
