The movers and Shakespearers

No comfort for the stickler, sticking literary fixtures depicting conflicting inklings to their minds as perfect pictures.
With one stroke of my pen the standards rose again and damned be lesser men.
As the pros of prose impose and profess, chaos needs redress.
For I, who's distress you must address, now cower and cleanse this mess, confess my prowess only serves to impress all reason to, "stop the press".
Anachronistic the measure of their metric, imperialistic so the eccentric can spiral in tantric concentric circlejerks.
Central to themselves, it works.
The stench of sh!t, a rose by any other name, smeared with effluent smirks.
With all due respect you may cling to the historic.
If you wish to press/play, I will lay waste.
I'm not here to copy/paste.
The past won't be replaced, though clearly trampled and retraced.
Finding you're fittingly faced with chagrin laden grimace feeding bitter distaste.
Thou is to doth o'er and o'er, as men of the cloth in unrestrained glory.
Touting the gospel loudly and poorly, wholly unaware it's a fairytale story.

The Mirth of Monsters

A picture appeared on my phone today,
on the proverbial page I perused.

A view of an evil most vile,
villainy veiled behind verve and vim.

Sadists from Auschwitz,
smiling in a storm.
Shoulders shrugging,
to shield from the sky.

No hint of the horrors,
the Holocaust they heralded.
Not haunted like the humans they harrow,
but hyenas, howling, in high humor after the hunt.

Their consciences clear, their cruelty concealed,
their cheer chills me to the core.
They caused such wicked calvary,
a calamity that echoes into the current century.

Yet they dare to delight,
while they deal in death and dread.
Their depravity so deep that they grin,
as they decry virtue and destroy millions.

But what mortifies me more is,
how mundane their mien.

Will we fear the next fiends fittingly,
or in time... if their faces feel like friends'?

Fittingly one randomly playing piano as I prepare
For heading home: where I am playing my most dramatic medley.
Someday even my own misery will meet its ending.

Wedding To Unfailingly Attend

They were all briskly heading
For a full member's wedding
With an attached harsh Levy
Only too fittingly heavy
For The Careless Absentee,
Who had stayed back like a tree;
Not The Dying at that time,
For that is Poor Health's own crime
A New Couple for wild cheer
While not skipping pleasing beer;
Charles and Eve watch as they join
And their church leave as one loin!

Nature My Inspiration

Mother nature never worries about anything
Embracing whatever needs grace with due diligence
Never trembles when its hard facing the scorching sun
Nor fidget at the provocation of mankind
Even when she yields to pressure, her beauty stands intact
Mother nature knows seasons, and that none stands permanent

Behold her exquisite members
The dance and merriment of leafy green
That knows the beauty of each passing day
The pine, succulent at exit and entrance of every season
The bougainvillea, always on its normal bliss routine
Adjusting both in soaking and scorching

Each of us is thus creator of happiness
We choose to dance in morning with the cool breeze
And soak ourselves in downpour
In all cases, we choose whether to merry or to sulk
In all seasons shall we therefore fructify

From our excellent mother nature
Be elastic to retract when bent by life
When monsoon threaten to sweep us off
Remember how deeply rooted we are
Through the drought we thrived and produced
Through the spring floods swept we not
Therefore at the status quo
Respond fittingly

Premium MemberA Meal In Five Senses

Within an overplay of paneled oak
and illumination fittingly low,
set upon a table, its style baroque
a lighted candle, its shimmering glow
plays an unopened bottle of Bordeaux

Distant soft murmurs of discrete lovers
a pop of cork, the chinking of a glass
gentle rustling of changed table covers,
the whooshing of a skirt as waitress pass.
Low background music with a mellow bass.

A rich old earthy scent from burning log
is mixed with fragrant kitchen spices, sweet
arouses memories of synagogue.
Pungent aroma from hot sizzling meat;
a whiff of petrol coming from the street.

The napkin soft, bread roll toasty, warm,
dinner plate hot, wine glass suitably chilled
all precisely the acceptable norm.
Granular grating as pepper is milled.
I press on the steak; it's perfectly grilled.

Fantastic flavors burst upon my buds
juicy, velvety, succulent, tender.
The wine my mouth with fruity perfume floods
I finish the last drop, then surrender
"I require another glass, bartender."

Premium MemberMacmurphy's Head

MacMurphy’s head hangs
Fittingly from my saddle horn.
I’d snatched it in a moment
When he couldn’t decide
Which way to parry.
The look of surprise is still on his face.
MacNulty’s ugly mug provides
Balance on the other side.
He was just slow, or stupid, or tired of living.
His expression is one of benign neglect.
I wonder whose woman will miss her man more.
But these are thoughts best left to philosophers.
The only head that speaks to me at this hour
Dangles with doggish eagerness under my kilt.
Fiona, warm up the haggis.
I’m coming home.

Premium MemberBaltimore

Bleeding as purple as the Ravens jersey with pride
A city so welcoming, fittingly and adoringly...
Labeled "Charm City," and "B'more"; this city is much more!
There's no dull moment or sight
ln this wondrous place. There's so much to see!
Most definitely livable...and not "rat-infested"!
Orioles tweet for this "Birdland" at the break of dawn
Receptive to tourists with open arms. Just like...
Every American city, imperfect, yet always prosperous!

Falsity

Fittingly hallowed gods must intrinsic majesty hold.
Even before deities invoked weigh the caller's case,
The deity's potent title should alone spell the balm,
And tint with nourishing grace the supplicant's face.

Woe justly betides gods modelled by mortal skill,
Conjured to define the worshiper's creative spans.
True deity outdoes their adherent's most avid drill,
And defeats most faithful admirers' keenest scans.

If while engaged they varied ethereal trends display,
But when left alone they silent and unbothered stay;
You already got there a freaking raw deal indeed:
You're the mighty guy your own-made gods need!

The worshiped must by heart the worshiper know,
And both will ever commune as if by infallible law.
It’s the supreme being mightily seeking the follower,
Who grasps it well and submits to the bigger power.

It’s a fake god if it bends to suit whimsical desire,
Or at once plays into your infinite imaginative fire!

fittingly unseen

                                          how it feels

Snow White

Finally, it is white annually-
pressumably, it is a white dress fourthcomingly,
it is going to be a white dress certainly;
convincingly, it is going to be complitely
a White decor.
Bonjour accessories, you going to stand on white,
convincingly,fittingly white in this decor;
i'd need a white carpet;
definetly everything is going to be white today.

White dress,white flowers
white moon like in the last winter,
snow drift, snow flakes in a snowline
i'm n't a snowfall, definately i'm n't from Europe;
certainly everything is forthcomingly to be white today.

budle up waiting for, hoping for, embracing for the white dress
a white hill covered in ice.

A Poetic Monotetra

I have written this poetry,
in a rhyme, that’s thought suitably
structured, and quite fittingly
apt, as you’ll see. Apt, as you’ll see!

Monetetra, is uniform,
and I chose it as the platform,
to write this verse in fitting form,
that would inform, that would inform.

I am perhaps a tad sublime,
for it takes forbearance and time,
to write a Monetetra rhyme.
For those who rhyme. For those who rhyme.

The strict tempo, within each line;
ensures the metre, remains fine,
when one keeps to eight beats a line.
A strict design: a strict design.

Should you attempt it, folks will know,
on reading your rhyme, it will show,
your poetic skills start to grow.
The way to go, the way to go!

Rhymer. December 16th, 2017.
