"The Sea Inside Me"
The sea inside me,
hides a Kraken
in its depths,
The Fathomless
lives there beside it,
some strange god
feeding on my
minnow soul
I am one of many
in its overflowing baskets
manna held in fishnets
where butter wouldn’t melt
the seams of clams kissed open
shucking for the untouched pristine
is like diving for black pearls
The sea inside me,
hides a Kraken
in its depths,
The Fathomless
lives beside it

Swaying, caressing sihouettes,
In the rose evenings,
Meditating, lighting candles,
As you sweetly gaze,
Swaying, liberating hems,
Like salsa dreams,
Your essence is exotic, stunning as rain,
Upon a flowers dazed petals,
Honey of mists,
Golden leaves,
in autumnal symphonies,
The green dresses,
Have turned a golden honey,
Let us shed our grievings,
The fishnets,
of hips and waves,
From our souls,
Like those majestic trees,
Waves,
waxing with crescents,
To gems and shore,
Ballerina dove, the moon,
Is dreaming your rhythms,
Swaying,
Meditatiing,
lighting candles,
In the warmth,
Of iris midnight dawns,
And the vineyards,
have ethereally,
Blossomed,
Within,
The enchanted,
gaze of your soul

The tambourines,
Are shimmering,
Like evening stars,
She put on her lovers makeup,
For her, through the rain,
And mist of clouds,
She was ready,
To dance again,
Into the shimmering night,
She dressed her,
Voluptuous body,
With a vintage gypsy dress,
And slid her gypsy fishnets,
From her heels to her hips,
Like waves carry its moonlight,
And love to shore,
As she danced, with her ballerina love,
The tambourines,
Shimmered,
Deep into the caress of night

Love hearts and scabby knees.
Dead flies and stinging bees.
Dirty nails and sweaty lips.
Fishnets with ragged slips.
Eyeholes in a hessian sack.
Pimples on a tattooed back.
Toys that she just can’t unpack.
Helen.
Secret Helen.
Lies from a mother’s heart.
Secrets that fell apart.
Beauty too divine to see.
As purple as a Judas Tree.
Singing from her cradle jail.
A baby crying weak and frail.
Giggle, breathe, inhale, exhale.
Helen
Splintered Helen.
An infantile brutalist.
A wide-awake somnambulist.
Mamma’s bile and Daddy’s fist.
A kiss, a slap a broken wrist.
She hides within a dark recess.
She dances with her own distress.
A monster wearing fancy dress.
Helen
Sacred Helen.
Fantasies of guilt and sin.
Concealed beneath a slab of skin.
Loathe the self and stunt the flesh.
Her impotence and spite enmesh.
To love the girl, she veils the face.
To save the world from its disgrace.
Before she leaves without a trace.
Helen
Shiny Helen.

Love,
Love is more than just the ordinary
extraordinary, doesn't hold it's clue
I want to pierce your skin,
lay claim to my love,
wrap my mouth upon your nipples
as I unravel the fishnets on your legs,
bite down upon your skin and penetrate deep
inside your wet and warming forest.
I want my love to be love,
not pretend or a needed friend
peel back the skin,
expose more than just a heart.
I want to join your soul
ride it thru the winds
wind wildy
freely
and journey past the ruins.
I want to build us up
sip upon the honey that calls out to my name
to come, to call, to conquer
I want our love to be love
to live in more than words or acts,
transcend the silence into peace
harmony
one.
Love like the last breath you hold is for me
as mine, and now your,
soul
awaits
devour me love, your love
it is love
our love
whole

Low lamplight at midnight
Ripped jeans & fishnets
Red smeared on stained lips
Twelve steps
You taste like a Halsey song
But vanish like a daydream

Both legs wore suspenders with fishnets in black,
Both legs where covered in love,
While her left leg wore a gartering tough,
Belt made of chrome hearts and studs,
With no dimples, no pits, no elastic stretch marks,
Not a blemish to be seen on her skin,
Her legs whispered intent pulling me down,
Questioning when I would begin,
And they whispered with a charmingly beautiful smile,
Her legs they grinned like a cat,
A cat that enchanted all that I am,
They enchanted with something abstract,
Slowly her talon-like legs pinned me down,
Her legs demanded total control,
They devoured the love from all that I am,
They gorged on the love from my soul.

Intricately fragile, embracing her curves,
She silently breathes in this womb,
This womb where she is a prey to its wants,
Its black silken webbing costume,
That clenches her neck, runs down her back,
Is tattooed the length of her leg,
Where every small inch of her dark gothic body,
Is covered in this spider’s thread,
She’s at one with this life of widowed disguise,
Eyeliner, fishnets, boots, and nails,
Each covered in this rich exquisite black web,
Becoming her corseted black jail,
And she wakes up at three, the unlit in the dark,
To play and to stalk and to bite,
To walk in the black crisp air of your town,
Our black widow who walks in the night.

Standing defiant, her feet are apart,
Black fishnets from her thighs to the ground,
I’m mesmerized by this woman standing so proud,
She leaves me completely spellbound,
With black boots on a heel, short skirt and a shirt,
Buttoned half way up to its top,
I’m blown away with her blazing blond hair,
As she stands inside the book shop,
Gently pushing, with dark reddened fingertip nails,
Her glasses to the top of her nose,
Her red lips smile at me, as I stand like an idiot,
My mind emptied, I stuttered, I froze,
For this short moment of the day, I belonged to her,
I stood like a useless small clown,
I stood in front of her dominant stance,
My mysterious woman, I fell in love with, down town.

I've been missing you, wishing you were here
Holding me so close, wiping away my tears
Being without you, my heart aches so much
How much I need to feel your tender loving touch
You know I need you here by my side
Cause everything around me just doesn't seem so right
And so I wait for you to walk on through my door
To wrap my arms around you and to love you even more
I know the path's that taken is out of our control
But I will continue to wait here with fishnets and a loaded bowl

I decided to take the high road...let nature have a say
I’ll let my hair go natural...I will embrace the grey
So I stripped the color...saw it wash right down the drain
Studied myself in the mirror...luckily, I still looked sane
I put on a fitted skirt, and headed out the door
I even grabbed my fishnets...Yeah, listen to me roar!
I pushed my cart around, and winked at all the guys
Sure they acted real sly, but they were getting a rise
I smiled at the pretty cashier...she told me the amount
I asked why so low, she said, “That’s with your senior discount”
I guess I’ll have to keep it natural…till who knows when
‘Cuz I doubt they have Clairol…in the pen!

Touched by madness, I go dancing
Through mental mind fields,
Down valleys of time.
Finding neither rhyme or reason
I season my dinner
With copious tears.
The girls, all naked,
Whirl like spinning toys
Through smoke and noise,
Just out of reach.
Unimpressed
I drum my fingers
I’ve never given away
Dollar bills.
Squirrels in fishnets,
Tighten garter belts;
Gangster rats chomp fat cigars.
I may be crazy;
But I’m not stupid;
No way am I walking
Down that alley alone.
Call me a cab somebody
Tonight I am flying home.

Your eyes spring forth flowers from my soul.
You come to me in dreams,
And as the jogger on the street.
You haunt me as the moon haunts the night sky.
You are the ghostly promise of pure love.
A woman cries against a brick wall,
A man anxiously changes lanes in traffic,
While others kiss on the beach.
While I in dreams feel the lightness of love:
The heavy warming wonder
Slipping out from my mind and
Reaching out through
The jalousies of my bedroom.
I arise to the incoherence
Of grogged and lumbering passions.
And then I slow down,
My feet on the carpet…
The cruel, cold fabric of the world.
The warm, softened fibers of the world.
The mind’s range and scope
And bounce against the light.
Times like these I seem to burn with no purpose.
My solar space, those silvery irises,
Skin as spirit,
Love the wandering ghost.
With fishnets and convertible spaceships:
I will catch you!
