Patiently Waiting

I've been missing you, wishing you were here
Holding me so close, wiping away my tears
Being without you, my heart aches so much
How much I need to feel your tender loving touch
You know I need you here by my side
Cause everything around me just doesn't seem so right
And so I wait for you to walk on through my door
To wrap my arms around you and to love you even more
I know the path's that taken is out of our control
But I will continue to wait here with fishnets and a loaded bowl

This is a lovely poem, Mistydawn and worthy of your name. The depth of love implied by the fishnets is striking. Thank you for the memories. Lots of adoration--Keith.
