Faun
Oh! - Answered he, who is the sculptor of the forest's soul,
- I've lived in the songs and myths, in the hair
Of maidens who romanced me, and in my own nightmare.
There is an ellipsis right between an apotheosis
That submits the soul to a life-long worship, and a kindred mind.
Worship of what? Ex nihilio? Well,

Hunting For Pan
It’s said that, if you find Pan
when he’s unaware, he has to give you his
magic panpipes.
I do covet that sound;
that ethereal, lilting, chiming
sound; it’s tranquilizing harmony.
And so, I’ve hunted him since I was a kid;
in every greenwood, forest and hedgerow;
every mountain and emerald dale.
Ever-elusive faun...I feel as though

Interludes
Tender notes
harmonic echoes
ancient myth
a specter
half man, half goat, pan-piping
a Faunus named Pan.
Where fairies
dance and play all day
Pan pipes his
lovely songs
ethereal, images
display in moonlight.
Fleeting scenes
woodland dreams play out
greenwood stage
moonlights play
a mythic operetta
in night lit gardens.

they took upon themselves that day:
destroying what I miss the most ~
My home,
now just a

Faun
1 by 1 the day is gone
Like a faun I turn to run into the thicket of ambiguity
Caught in a tidal-wave of hit & misses
Drunk with longing; drowning in the aftershave
Reaching for a hand to save me
A word of comfort to console me
Soaring through the thunder-storm
With the feeling of gratitude slowly dissipating
Riddled with confusion
Afraid of

The Persistent Faun
I heard it from a woodland fairy
That whispered it so sweet and airy
A silly tale about a faun
That hides himself from early dawn
Until the time twilight appears
And takes away all his fears
So he may scurry in the night
In a flurry left and right
Picking the berries that he deems
Appropriate for the fairy queen
For he loves the
