Evening star
that shines at night,
your spirit I see,
my guiding light.

Touching me
in such a way,
that feels so safe
'til each new day.

My spirits soar
with faith renewed.
All doubts I have
again subdued.

And as I lay
my soul to rest,
sleep comes easy
my life is blessed.

When I awake
to a brand new day,
this simple life
takes me away.

Soul refreshed
calm and strong,
the daylight hours
don't seem so long.

Our Beautiful Evening Star

A dictum that no mortal may impeach:
abundance is the concubine of dearth.
You soar above the surly clouds which wreathe
around us: you’ve enabled us to reach
beyond our matter-patrimony, earth:
your gift to humankind is to bequeath
ability to master thought and speech,
and know that death is but another birth.

Premium MemberThat Evening Star

That evening star shining bright above,
Never wavering, my compass guide,
Assisting me through a darkening night
When I wavered in my journey north
Seeking a special place in life’s schema
After my affairs were in order, blessed,
I was to make my way home repairing,
Restoring what once was, I had missed
While beggaring about aimless and lost,
That evening star was always shining
Even when I could not see its glimmer,
Most likely, not wanting its direction
Floundering as I was, far from serenity,
Seldom aware that I was missing, adrift
In a careless and cruel world caring not
Until near bottom I looked up and saw
The future I could call my own, if only I,
If only I, could begin again with you …
That evening star shining bright above
Never wavering, never giving up on me.

Oh my shining evening star
Just when dusk alights
Someone calls out your name
You blush in your twinkling game

You play your own tune
In the depths of my heart
In my souls desire you shine
Who will I tell your beautiful story

Fill my eyes with your light
Fill me with peace tonight
You are as good as love
Walk tonight with me above

My little evening star
Lets look into each others eyes
Why are you in such a hurry
Please cross the skies dark roads carefully.

A Dialog With the Evening Star

Above the twilight faintest glimmer,
end-summer evening turning to reddish dimmer.
The lonely star of love in dusky shine,
into the ocean of faint and far to prime.
Some sensing of splendor in awe as trail,
soft gleam and tender wonder bale.
I bow my heart in humility,
“Speak to me; I want to know your secret”,
a sweet voices spoke softly in spirit.
“My dear one, you are itself the art of love,
and the art to be beloved whom you adore”.
“Reflections from heaven on to earth,
that turn earthly desires into spirits of faith”.
“That freedom of space is found in the formless,
sparks, glance and dewdrop fortress”.
“Your presence in that immensity of space,
shows me your majestic providence”.
“The dimming of my light only in mourn,
when loving souls are in destinies storm”.
“The opportunity in life becomes a great pity,
when realized a too late reciprocity”.
“Thank you little star of mystic beginning,
and no ends in phenomenon mental spinning”.

Evening Star Rising

Evening star rising

into day’s fading sky,

alone, serene,

and wondrously bright,

surpassing dark hills

to cerulean night.

Peace Is An Evening Star

Peace Is An Evening Star

Peace is an evening star,
In Bethlehem so bright.
Guiding the wise,
Both day and the night.

Noah sent a dove,
Searching for God's land.
"Peace to all" he said,
The Lord is in command.

"Seek peace and pursue it",
David sang with love.
The world was in turmoil,
This message from above.

Peace is like a prayer,
Only good can return.
Seek the Son of God,
This lesson you must learn.

The people had no hope,
Cruel leaders in control.
There was no place to turn,
Only peace could make them whole.

Shepherds in the field,
Angels sang so clear.
Peace be unto you,
The Son of God is near.

Tonight you rest with hope,
Contentment in your heart.
The promise is fulfilled,
He brings a brand new start.

Many people search for God,
Jesus came to you.
Praise Him dear friend,
This is our prayer for you.

Evening Star

In the breath of summer,
The time was midnight;
With stars in their circuits,
Shining high with their light.
Still brighter the moon,
Midst planets like knaves;
Shines bright in the sky,
Reflecting on waves.
I looked at her smile,
So remote in the sky;
Wearing her shroud,
Above clouds passing by.
And I turned to you,
My dear evening star;
More lovely you be,
Than heaven's lights are.
So shall your light shine,
As I stand and admire,
But your glow's not for me,
With your cold distant fire.

Evening Star

Bedeviled by the world so brutal
He still bring – off with a grin
Baseless towards one among the nation
Still the only one to conform every time of year -
Once in a blue moon
One will surely inquire
How he find himself one among the elite group.

Lost in the woods to construe the pragmatism of nature
Yet she finagle to retrace a new ménage
Migrated from a distanced island
The Macaw can flee to a new world.
Flocked by same species and aggressed by foes
Over again a fresh habitation
One will surely inquire
Indolence if ever existed.

An aeon latter the brightest star even bears away
The brightness of a solarday
The duskiness undimmed environ is then
Oppugned by thous admiring oculi
In a moment of agitation
Back to same state
One will surely remember
The brightest ring god has ever created.

Rare to our naked eyes
One-time she dupes and one-time she comes along
A glimpse of it in the morning and in the evening
Hesperus usually appears at sunset in the western sky.
Viewed by few, yet known to all
Later annotates
And the former waits for the next eventide.

To my love wherever you are
I pray you shine my Evening Star

Sometimes in life we lose our way
Fall into the trap of living yesterday

Our memories become all that we are
For we have not just fell we fell to far

It can affect the happy as well as the sad
Can’t measure good till you weigh out the bad

More we hurt the deeper we fall
Be still the darkness of it all

At times reflection is a winning game
Face the fear of admitting our shame

Know that after we process our yesterday
We will no longer have that price to pay

Once we confess the sins we have done
Darkness flees from the light of the Son

To my precious love wherever you are
Please shine brightly my Evening Star

Evening Star

We are the Tolkien people
We walk in twilight

    We are the Tolkien people
whose reflections
     shine in the icy pools
   of white winter

   We are the Tolkien people
Who will see the branches
         of mallorn trees
shining in the distance

Soon we will leave Middle Earth
        Soaring on wings of
              imagination

    To a land where
       a silver mist
              delights the senses

     We are sailing now
         sailing away
    Sailing towards
                Sorrow's end

The First Evening Star

The first evening star,
burns only for you
If you only knew,
that I have loved you from afar

This rising star,
of brilliant blue,
burns only........for you
This love......so true

Evening star,
if you only knew
once you came in to view,
your burning fire,
the colour of sapphire

Evening star,
brilliant blue,
in the night sky,
how I love you too

This burning blue fire,
of evening star
My love,my desire,
viewed from afar

The burning blue,
if you only knew,
was right in front of you
Burning desire
Blue fire

This love burning,
For so long
Tender yearning
For together..........
We belong

The first evening star,
brilliant blue fire
It is you I desire,
not from afar

Burning blue
If you only knew
Our love.......so true
Starry fire,
the fruit of my desire
