Evening Star

We are the Tolkien people
We walk in twilight

    We are the Tolkien people
whose reflections
     shine in the icy pools
   of white winter

   We are the Tolkien people
Who will see the branches
         of mallorn trees
shining in the distance

Soon we will leave Middle Earth
        Soaring on wings of
              imagination

    To a land where
       a silver mist
              delights the senses

     We are sailing now
         sailing away
    Sailing towards
                Sorrow's end
