Eunuchs Poems | Examples

Green Roses

Roses can be green

The globalized world is a grey blanket
the common language and culture (consumerism)
A haze of foul jollity and hollow laughter
lost minds, save elephants and waterholes

life is self-indulgent a rush into the arms of self
where the famous chef wears a toupee.

Roses are blue, the only colour of today
oxalate hamburgers, beans in tomato sauce
sesame seed for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Eunuchs are ruling the worldwide internet.

The Fifth Brother

The story from Arabian nights and its epitome,
life’s frustrations under our unique heavens dome.
The hero of the tail in luck of a modest legacy,
hundred silver coins from destinies hierarchy.
The brilliant idea to invest in fragile glassware,
taken them to the market to gain from the fare.
As Merchant sitting in the hot sun and musing,
how to pyramid the profit to flow ever oozing.
Two hundred with the first turnover, then four,
Allah wills grand me all and more.
A fine house with eunuchs and horses,
social prestige and influential sources.
Calling the most expensive marriage broker,
for the prime ministers daughter bespoke her.
Indeed all imagination until all length,
in that haughtiness completed strength.
The festive celebration in excellence performance,
bride and groom in gorgeous dresses accordance.
The opening dance a prestige’s protocol,
big steps which need to be floated on.
Striking out in his reverie, kicking fragile wares,
destroying his stock in short shattering affaires.
Make believe and its immortal confidence,
destiny and a muse in sympathy of providence.

The Patched Road

They sorrow not that tread upon this patched road

They murmur not,complain not

For a heavenly prize

These gallant soldiers await

The joys they see

The tears they hide

They love not sleep

Toiling not in vain for

their faithful Master

Eunuchs some decide to be

Celibates they choose as such

To be identified with

Earthly passions subduing

Fleshly weaknesses suppressing

Fasting often

Praying everyday

The scriptures they study

All and sundry admonishing

Beyond Christ's cross to look

The crown of glory to behold

Upon their heads to be placed

In His coming Kingdom

Living the Life

I enjoy living the life of a eunuch
like all the royal eunuchs of old
Always apt to minister to others
while putting my carnal desires on hold

It is so easy to live this way
all I have to do is earnestly pray
And Jesus Christ gives me the strength
to do without sex for an immeasurable length

I enjoy living the life of a eunuch
like all the angels in the heavens above
Always apt to praise the Lord God
for finally letting me experience true love

Limerick: Once a randy Rajah from Ratnapoor

Once a randy Rajah from Ratnapoor
Stole into his harem to take a tour
Eunuchs were most occupied
With Ranis left untied
So he cut their heads off to seal the door.

Dancing Eunuchs of India

Dancing Eunuchs Of India
Eunuchs they were, who sang at doorsteps for alms
At birth and death alike; blessed the bride and groom too.
They danced their dark bodies heavily gyrating, with
busted breasts, hairy chest and hefty forms tightly clad
in saris candy colored ,sequined and six feet long.
Painted smiles, jingling bangles, tinkling anklets
sang bawdy ballads of glorified virgins and stillborn children,
in a third gender voice-a hostile blend of two opposite sexes.

Note: Most of the eunuchs in India live by begging. They normally come out in groups of about five to ten and spread out in streets approaching small shops and restaurants for alms. Normally people give them alms out of fear of being cursed. It is widely believed in India that the curse of a "hijra" is very effective; same with their blessings. They offer to dance at small family functions like naming ceremonies of newborn children, weddings and other village functions.

Fatal Orgy

There’re seasons for singing and seasons for sinning,
Both of them can combine:
A feast for a glutton is only beginning,
Naked slaves pour out the wine.

The eunuchs are dancing, the minstrels are playing,
When the Black Stranger arrives,
But dukes are too drunk to hear all that he’s saying,
Pawing at dead peasant’s wives.

The crimson cloth curtains are suddenly ripping
Down from the black Stranger’s blade,
And sobering lords are all stumbling and tripping,
Grunting that they’re not afraid.

But too late they unsheathe their swords and discover
Pestilent, putrid Black doom:
A curse from a coffin with worms for a lover;
Black Plague strews rot on the room.

Beside Your Bedside

I woke at midnight, the digital clock like an electric rooster
It doesn’t tick but I hear the seconds pass with emphasized thud, thud, thud,
The kingdom of white, sterile, eunuchs wound by clockwork
Into the storm upon the horizon, placed within a bone china teacup
Drifting but safe from all unsavoury lesser gods or lesser men
Nothing remotely stimulating or challenging beside the saline drip
Thinking aloud but when the words fall out, almost just a mutter, a gust of air
It’s a world of obsessive compulsives, a wave of disinfectant, when sat beside
Your bland medical notes and records, the Holy Grail for overenthusiastic doctors
One mistake and you’re like a smeared fly, wings concertinaed into liquid
Your bones broken and oozing as some demigod’s thumb smears you out of history
But it’s still a calming whitewash, bleaching away or just coating the self-neglect
The machines, just how I’d imagine a clone’s manmade womb, an overcoat of wires
Regardless of appearance, it’s a calm tsunami which hits me like a war hammer
It’s a calming wave of silence and stumbled words when sat beside your bedside
