Premium Member September Pursuits

In our country’s
calendar of events
September is replete with
pursuits worth enumerating
reminding me to bask in meaningful
involvements, optimizing God-granted strength
midst pressure, propelled by blissful functionality.

With well-being focus…
I learned that September 16-22
is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week,
thus, my schedule seeks for appropriate
on-line seminars for the sake of our special child.

As to educational endeavours
Sports Heroes Day was celebrated
on the 10th, while all virtual classes for
Academic Year 2021-2022 did start last 13
along festivities like Family Thanksgiving Day.

Then birthdays and anniversaries
of loved ones radiate with greetings...
thus, fellowships abound, although compliance
to social distancing and health protocols is practiced.

Topping these all, September
commences Christmas celebration…
now, here am I preparing for my teaching
engagement, grateful to God for opportunities
to do* my life-building roles, with joy and diligence.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Premium Member Transcientific Dialogue

The lowest common green ecological denominator
of healthy highest interfaith power
and light compassionate dialogue

Is potentially now deepest learning
and widest eco/theo-languaged communication

Secular Earth as potential sacred Heaven
in multicultural dialogue

And global health care development
win/win systemic

For optimizing green therapeutic
polycultural
resilient multi-organizational
ego-health/eco-wealth outcomes
refueling pro-active
kindred
enumerating spirits

At least those not denominationally undermining this WholeEarth comparison
I am trying to recycle, non-linear,
to grow unstuck dynamically in-between
actively restoring hope,
dormant independent faith,
co-empathic love objectives

NOT reactively punishing Self
and Other
and WholeEarth BioSystems

As if merely
nerdy
unprivileged
unimportant subjects

Of omnipotent StraightWhiteMale
immortal internal Voices of God
judgmentally monocultural,
merely pedestrian denominational

The lowest common green ecological
left-hemisphere rational denominator
of healthy highest interfaith power
and light co-gravitating
nonpartisan
co-passionate eco/theo-dialogue.

Thanking God Daily

At times i find myself, revisiting the past,
not living each day as though it were my last.
Wasting time, enumerating years that mount,
previewing God’s blessings to numerous to count.
At times I’m lower, “than a moles belly on digging day,”
which is always an inducement for me to pray.

Premium Member Independence 2

Independence from Great Britain was an idea whose time had come
Navigating the 'high seas of King George 111' required a greater King

Dissolution and revolution, the price paid when there is no resolution
Eruptions result from the build-up of too much pressure

Pledges of their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor were vital
Essential to the success of the revolution was their unity
Noteworthy was their appeal to "The Supreme Judge of the world"*

'Decisions' unbacked by action is best defined as 'considerations'
Existence of God and reliance upon Him were evident
Not concessions or appeasements, but resistance is the remedy against evils
Courage is the capacity to meet danger without giving way to fear**
Enumerating their greviances, the colonists left no doubts

Give Up Don’t Live
In a Tough Old Bird
Written: by Tom Wright

You can ascertain much about a man’s persona,
By enumerating the bruises and knots on his head;
For it isn’t the frequency of life beating him down,
But his response and determination to rise instead;

In acetous longing
Penchant and efflorescent
Enumerating metallurgy
Feather, dust and stone
Apart and in essence same
Can in such majesty exist?

Sleep and Aristotle

SLEEP AND ARISTOTLE.

How to get a good night's sleep--
Instead of enumerating sheep,
Recline beautifully with Aristotle,
Don't decline, hit that bottle,
What does rhyme with Aristotle?
I ponder passing parades of axolotls,
Maybe Australia's golden wattles,
Driving by, foot on throttle,
Yes, they all rhyme with Aristotle,
Maybe I shouldn't hit that bottle,
I'll curl up with this learned book,
"What is beautiful?" at Aristotle I'll look,
Musing thoughts so philosophical,
Aristotle waxing lyrical and logical,
Far different from enumerating sheep,
Drifting into a good night's sleep..........

Premium Member Eternities End

All the days, I’ve not so patiently waited, waited for the one, the yang to my yin.
Brevity precluded me enumerating all the subtle joys of you, yet, your eyes,
Charismatic orbs of jovial laughter, crinkled from sunny days, and blue as sky.
Dangerous man you are, yet, the gentleness you show to me knows no bounds
and, I would wait another eternity, if only you could guarantee to end life with me.

For Arl

(1)

I read your poems you told me
Enumerating names that belong only to ladies
So you leaf through the memory
Cached in words in search of my ambiguities
And I laughed through the night
At your mortal frailty, for how could I write
Of love random after your flight
That crippled me so badly I wouldn't trust light
Nor song, nor pure flower bloom
Beauty is a tragic thing you know, to behold it
Is to be intimate with hope's doom
How could I love after you, I had no spirit for it

For when you were gone I saw long
Miles alone of desert sands that span from dawn
To bitter night of the subtle wrong
Where lynched and quartered my heart was drawn.

                          (2)

Lady, you are back again, and this tree
You left so green and full of leaves
Have shed them brown in wilted poetry
And I think the cold wind also deceives
For look at the grass
The same thing happened when the sun
In torrid summer pass
Ice or fire, I lament both and trust none
O remember now to read me like a parable
I do not keep my meanings plain in sight
On the surface meet me where I am affable
You are forever to me an eternal delight.

Vespers

This returning march seems parallel
to that God's choosing am impelled
to wile away all losing
not some instanced recognize!

The gifts I sought excelled
are fully given not excise,
my heart sure ridden with concise
delivers that injustice realize!

Now nothing new can compromise
my faith so driven with demise,
my soul forgiven knows its size,
no more the loft impersonating lies!

Return to pathways hidden, so advise
enumerating virtue, nor implies
I ask again for hope as truth complies ~
it is my vespers keeping . . . Godly tries!
