Entitling Poems | Examples

Vision of my mind

Far above the reaches of my mind
A mystery enslaves my thoughts
Entitling a Spector Visual Spectrum (SVS)
Scoping all enterprises of my mind
Enslaving a rainbow arc
Captures in visual power
Catching the historical recesses
Memorable times of speculating
Reaches the final the cranium sought
Still trying to catch up what's taught
My mind settles on the present
recycling and referring to the past
Imagining what flew back
Subtly remembering it at last
Still centered on Rainbow Vision of my mind.

What Is This Life All About

As I sit
I breathe deep, in and out
I struggle to calm my mind
Contemplating; what is this life all about?

I like my life
I love my family and friends
Life is filled with opportunities
I've learned a lot from the losses and the wins

Yet there is something going on
A feeling floating in the air
I try talking about it
It's not to provoke; it's because I care

We tend to take this life for granted
Yet there are victims all across this great land
The irony of this problem
Is we’re too quick to lend a “helping” hand

We fear that our kids will suffer
So we minimize the challenges modernity brings
We rescue them too quickly
They end up not learning a damn thing

So, we attempt to ignore or erase
The guilt and shame within our mind
So we “help” again
Entitling the weakest generation known to mankind

We have lost our ability to discern
Our emotions have completely got in our way
We wonder how this happened
Were completely blind to the road we have paved

As I sit
I breathe deep, in and out
I struggle to calm my mind
Contemplating; what is this life all about?

To Live Or Not To Live

To Live or not to Live

To live or not to live,
..duly optimistic about one's,
capabilities bearing flowers,
in fantastic shape and brilliant colours
referring to the shape of its tuber,
for a direction to its waiter.

"Within the wind a core of sound"
that mounts of mind's hill to be shine,
to see the 'mid flower and spine'
for a company of people honoured with,
thine.

The powers and virtue with the intention,
may be acceptable in its highest order,
	if circumstances are not,
exceptional for a share entitling,
	the holder.

Premium Member Freddie the Furlough Getting Let Go

Freddie the furlough
Sat there with his Merlot
Watching the sun go up and down
While his body got tan and brown
They said they had full control
That is what Freddie the Furlough was told
Sitting in his cubicle one day
They came over to say, ‘you are still going to get pay’
Are you asking me to take an absentee leave?
Despite my hourly wages having not much of a fee
It is time for you to go
They repeated to Freddie the Furlough
You do not need me
I do see
Without a tear
Freddie the Furlough got up having no fear
Tired of all this shtick
Considered office tricks
Freddie the Furlough knew he performed his tasks
Honestly not needing to hide behind any corporate flask
Resulting in wearing the afternoon mask
Freddie the Furlough did not fold
Instead he was pretty bold
In dealing with this feeling of cold
From this job they thought he loved
And in reality the one he was ready to shove
Freddie the Furlough
Finished his Merlot
With enough cash in his tin
And knowing that the day was a win
Entitling Freddie the Furlough to a Jimmy Buffet happy hour fin

Thanks To the Members of Poetrysoup

Just wanted to say thanks I believe that we are in agreement that Double Script's
Is my best poem I will not meet that caliber of poetry again.
Complexities of a poem that stretches the boundaries of literature.
From the philosophical philosophies to the unique elegance of a state of mind and just plain out trying to write a poem about crazy or entitling a poem of craziness it is extremely tough to write such a feat. Changing the world an so much more.

I'm just honored to have written those poems like a friend says nothing but trophy line's one in a lifetime.
Don't worry I have more an I will keep trying to top double scripts until I die.
Prophet of philosophy the philosophical philanthropy fe entreprenuer laughing out loud

Alliteration For the Planet

Wonderful wonders woven within wild.
Titillates theatrical tender thoughts
Consistently creation, contrives conservation concerns.
Ecology evolves equations, entitling entities essence.
Empowering equality, enlarges existence.
Life lovingly leases Longevity.
Biodiversity braces, blatant brutal balding.
Deforestation, destruction devoid due definition.
People physically, plundering planet.
Prevalently procuring, products proscribed
Pilfering practices producing poisonous pollutants.
Greenhouse gases generated, generously grievous.
Temperate temperature’s tempers tumultuous.
Creating Climate changes, causing catastrophes.
Planet purges peril predominately.
Preached, placid platitudes, politicians podiums paced.
loved lives logged listed lost.
Lacuna languished, lessons least learnt.
Losing Life lingers, listing leeward lazily.

Wwaass Tthhaatt Aa Ssppaarrkk Ii Ssaaww Iinn Tthhee Ppaarrkk

YA KNOW WHAT, I AIN'T ENTITLING THIS BECAUSE I JUST MISSED THE TITLE STORE

THERE ONCE BE A PAIR
THEY MET IN A PARK
IN THE DARKNESS OF DESPAIR
AND SUDDENLY A SPARK

BUT AN ERRANT FLAME THIS COULD BE
ALAS, A LAD AND A LASS
'TWAS ON A NIGHT TWO WOUDST AGREE
TO NAKED THEIR FEET AND WALK ON SHATTERED GLASS

OH THE SHARPENED SHALE OF DEPTH IT GOAL
LEAVING BLOOD AS A TRAIL THEY KNEW LED TO NOWHERE
AND OH THE INNOCENCE THOSE ILLICIT ILLUSTRATIONS STOLE
YET NEITHER USED THEIR BETTER JUDGEMENT AND NOR FEAR

EACH PAIR OF EYES FOCUSED ON A FLICKERING LAMP
YET MINDS BESET BY SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T THEY
AND THERE MIDST A MISTY EVE WITH TRANQUILLY DAMP
HE SAID "FOR THE MISSING STARS IN THE SKY SOMEONE MUST PAY"

AND SO THEY ROSE TO STROLL SOMEWHERE EACH KNEW LITTLE OF
BLINDLY DID BOTH YONDER THEN TO PIERCE A FEARSOME LINE
NO, IT BE NOT WHAT YOU MAY THINK IF YOU THINK IT LOVE
I ONLY KNOW THEY WERE WAYWARD AND ONE OF THEM DIED BUT FROM
WHAT......WELL YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE
