A drop in an ocean

A drop cannot be greater than the ocean,
yet when viewed i the correct way contains it.
The only righteous pleasures are the love and joy of the spirit.
Worldly pleasures are selfish and therefore evil.
The supreme deity is a mystery of love, wonder and awe.
When we embrace these things we embrace them.
So what then of suffering?
Suffering of the flesh is purification.
Suffering of the spirit is education.

The Drop Tine Bull

The brindled drop tine bull
Brings his herd along the fence
He steers the steers and leers at me
His look not quite intense
We ponder life, each his own strife, this old cow boy and me

He clears the gate with one old cow
They amble past the here and now
And take me back to the woods by the creek
And the hedgerow post pile by the birthday tree
And the chicken coop and my first chores

The mem’ries flood
To the water tank and the crawdads there
In Holstine’s pasture, way in the back
Not far from a line of walnut trees
Black and tall against the breeze

Each straight as a sentry at his post
Who walked this land
Bow, rifle, plow in hand
It connects me to the land my feet
Negotiate in the autumn heat

I’ve drifted south, as things seem to go
Yet somehow in my soul I know
I’m tied to the land in a way not seen
By those whose mem’ries aren’t so keen
For the ground they trod when their feet were bare

But my mem’ries warm…	and it takes me there

Quickie

In the next life
if reincarnated
as a mayfly
I am designated
it's good enough for me
with nothing but fun
for twenty-four hours
(under the sun)
until the race is run
bonking here bonking there
I'll be bonking everywhere
non-stop until I drop

A Drop

On June 21, 2025 U.S. military made strikes against three nuclear facilities in Iran called Operation Midnight Hammer.

Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan
No longer places in Iran
And gone at once atomic clamor
It took a drop of "Midnight Hammer"

Premium Member Life, Drop Me a Love

Life, love is in your pocket, just share me, give it to me
I can’t give it to you, it is closed to you. Dark loves you

My life is dark. Everybody knows my past. Night that life
This life wants to be your will. Your respected life. Dark

I am the darkness. I will be the darkness. Only for you
Life, you just loved someone. She loved you. The you

Loved me? I cannot understand. Unbelievable for me
Let me touch you with my heart. Do you feel my soul?

My soul is stone. Beton. There is no soul. Destroyed
Your heart yearns for the last love. That was eternal

I still love. This guy wants something from you. Satan
The life. The love. The eternal. Key? Loving the other

Life, thank you. Don’t be a judge. You are king. Love you
I drive you, stay on my path. Lonely silence. But lovely. So

Life, drop me a love
Where is it located?
Tell me soon. I move

Premium Member GUM DROP PRINCIPLE

Gum drops are like Races of all people
Assortments of all shapes and sizes
Small components with sugar rush
Flavorful and tasteful
The end result being delightful
Feeling of content and well pleased
It’s not the color
It’s the association, acquaintance and friendship feel
Without the association there is connection
It’s the heart felt loving paying attention
Total experience of sensation
Gum Drops uplift
Relating to Race with no hush
Sense of savor and fulfillment
The aroma that follows and extends into goodness
Taste of the taste
Quality leaving no waste

The Journey of a Drop

The drop in millions of them
Waits in the ocean for its turn
To go up to the heavens

It believes it'll stay there
Because the drop before it
Rose and never came back to the sea

Its wish comes true
And the droplet hovers up to the gray clouds
It becomes a part of a cloud and wonders
If this is how its life will be

In the cloud, it feels
Not quite what it expected
Confused, the water drop waits more

The droplet thinks that there must be something
Beyond, beyond the sky that it will go
And suddenly, the sun hides behind a cloud

The drop falls, rushing to the earth again
It feels suspended in the air for a moment
Then hits the floor, soaking into the earth

NATURAL INVISIBLE EVENT

             dawn breaks, the sun shines
a drop pauses does not fall
                suddenly dries up.

A singular Drop; That's All There Was

I gaze upon an opaque silver sky,
Descending dewdrops, developing above the mustache maw.
Ascending the nape to taste cherubim cry,
Permeating petrichor, pervade the nasal in auspicious awe.

Palpable pain of tactile taps
Kissing canker sores and rainstorm rush.
Radically rampaging, for its rapid relapse
Rain, it's infinite, swirling fervor flush

To drown by an inundated impound,
A vehement, vicious, void that immersed,
Wandering weakly on the ocean gored ground,
Drowning, isolated lungs; bellowing burst.

The tyrant tsunami my miracle world-wide flood,
Exploding existence, imploding insistence, ichor pools; blackened blood.

Premium Member In the river of life, each drop carries a touch of magic, a hidden secret

In the river of life, each drop carries a touch of magic, a hidden secret,
Yet in its flow, it merges into a majestic and ancient song,
Thus are our lives, solitary stars shining in the night,
But together we form constellations, a story written on the infinite sky.
Like a shard of light dancing in the first rays of spring,
Reflected in the fabric of the day embracing the earth with a warm glow,
We are like the notes of a choir lifting uplifting hymns to the heavens,
But once the song fades, we disperse silently like echoes at dawn.
The glory of our moments, ephemeral and fragile, like butterflies touching the earth for just a moment,
Is a glance cast into the vastness of eternity, a flash of light in the ocean of time;
So rich is the beauty flowing like an endless river full of mystery,
That in its presence, our fall is merely a grain of sand carried by the wind.
Just as, when the last spark of the ember fades and vanishes in silence,
A bird loses its way, but the flock continues to soar, cradled by the sky's currents.

Premium Member Drop thought ego begot

Prone to weigh and size,
we stifle surprise,
of bliss magnetism,
in body-mind prism.

Thought opaques soul’s light,
a blockage, our blight,
which when we release,
life flows on with ease.

Watch how dreams unfold,
as stories retold,
in which love’s bliss squall
melds us with the all.

If we be but still,
voids in heart will fill,
revealing God is
light and love’s bliss fizz.

Feeling not thinking,
focus unblinking,
obtaining clear sight,
we behold His light.

A Drop in a Bucket

Last night moonlight swam
over the brimming surface
of the water bucket.

Now, sitting on a porch step,
I'm watching high sunny showers form
elliptical dewy spheres.

One droplet falls
into the rain bucket – just one.
A ripple piddles over an edge.

Breezes shake themselves dry.
A thousand miles away
a frog begins to sing to a puddle.
