Alcoholic Servitude

Lead me towards
your light like the
three wise me of old
oh famous STAR.

Make me a grand
gladiator in your
sacrid arena,tasting
ultimate victory oh
GULDER.

Tune my ears to your
alluring melody, great
HARP of ancient
singers.

Lead me to the path
where my diva lie
still,awating my
reviving touch,am at
your servitude dear
EVA WINE.

Lure me away sir MAC
DOWEL. To your
hidden shrine lord
MISEUR PASCAL.

Spin my head, and
sway my feet,down
your liquor
path,follows i in full
pace,the grand SPINOF
ICE.

Extend my greeting to
your brothers,tell
them about my battle
with the DRY GIN.

And my chronicles at
the great temple of
DEROK.

My dance with the
LEGEND and miss
CALIPSO don't fail to
mention.

I tried my devoted
BEST,revived by the
almighty BULLET, defy
the RED LABEL but
falls under the giddy
claws of ANDRE.

In sacrid servitude to
alcohol birth forth this
lines.

Nervous Purvis

Nervous Purvis, why so quirky?
I’m losin’ my hair and the future’s lookin’ murky

Nervous Purvis, why the twisted scowl?
No woody here, just a slim little dowel

Nervous Purvis, why can’t you score?
I’m wearin’ silly drawers and I eat off the floor

Nervous Purvis, why blame it on the Man?
Cuz he’s real bossy and kicks me in the can

Nervous Purvis, why the dirty pants?
I wore ‘em to bed while reading Judith Krantz

Nervous Purvis, why not make a change?
Cuz I like sittin’ pretty and scratchin’ my mange

Nervous Purvis, you could be so much!
Like paying for meals and housing and such?

Nervous Purvis, why the dirty nails?
Been slurpin’ on felch and fillin’ diaper pails

Nervous Purvis, you’ll never fit in!
On with ya, donkus, and wipe off your chin!

Some Assembly Required

Some Assembly Required

By Elton Camp

If a product has these words, better stay away
Unless you want to toil on it at least half a day

Pages of instructions the maker will provide
And a list of parts that are said to be inside

Expect the tiny print to be impossible to read
There will never be all of the parts you need

And the wording will be ignorant and crude
Due to having been written by a foreign dude

If to sell to the American market they aspire
You’d think a good translator they’d hire

There will be unfamiliar terms and complexity
“Insert dowel A into the crescent arch at three”

To purchase a complete product I much rather
And so I never buy one I must put together

Bleak Sunshine

Smile, Sunshine,
Smile, Darlin’,
Smile when the world dies around you,
Sunshine in the stormy night,
Your smile through the clouds,
Dark times,
Smile through the haze,
Bite down on the dowel so you don’t break your teeth,
Smile, through the day, Bleak Sunshine,
Smile, through the night, Darlin’ Sweet thing,
You smile and glow, but it kills you, you know,
The summer may never come again,
So Sunshine with your iron core
Smile and cry, smile and cry,

Sunshine, my only Sunshine,
You make me happy, when skies are gray,
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you,
So please don’t take my Sunshine away….
