Disintegration of India

union of India and its states are natural allies
but out of hometowners are uneasy
pitter-patter raining on statue of unity resonates
disintegration, disintegration, disintegration
collectively fight, collectively fall

union of india and its states are natural allies
but out of hometowners are uneasy
pitter-patter raining on statue of unity resonates
no government to fight disintegration
collectively fight, collectively fall

union of india and its states are natural allies
but out of hometowners are uneasy
pitter-patter raining on statue of unity resonates
no sardar patel like leader to fight disintegration
collectively fight, collectively fall

Disintegration of the American Dream

Since I left you I found the world so new
‘Left’ meaning that as I got older and grew
I realized every apology you ever construed
was a strand in an intricate web of your lies
where is the full explanation?
A spiraling maze of emotional abuse under the guise
of a man living the American dream
so, it seemed
You were an idea more than a person
I almost wish you weren’t there at all
Because every time we see each other thoughts resurface
from somewhere deep within my subconscious mind perhaps?
traumatic childhood memories spring like the flowers in April
contrasting imagery in the last line of text I’m certain
but this what it feels like
I’m trapped in your dark world like it’s Tim Burton

We are losing cohesion
in every aspect of the word

Our strength is declining
with our thinning of the herd

Self-isolation
has a price to be paid

This global pandemic
has left many afraid

Stuck in our homes
slowly losing our mind

Our economy is crashing
and we have all been confined

Depression now finds us
in this new isolation

Life will forever be changed
across this great nation

Haiku On Disintegration

Bask the spectacle:
Time’s debacle
Into oblivion.

'disintegration'

I really feel as if my soul is going to DETERIORATE right before my eyes.
Watching everyone LIVE while my life is slowly passing me by.
Embedded inside of a chamber that I have started to call my HOME.
Praying for a SANE release as I continue to fight this war alone.
...Life isn't too attractive...

Disintegration

Masts stand tall to support the sails on a one hundred ton ship
That ventures south.

I am one of fifty men in this boat.
There are many others out at sea but
our fate is the same.

I signed my life over to the Captain.
He branded his crest into my chest nevertheless
I was not conscious of my treaty.

I loathe my foolishness.
I never knew he’d take a part of me.
And now there is a blister from the burn: a “flawless” circle.

I can feel the sludge pumping through my veins.
My insides have gone grey.
My insides fall like ash.

I’ve inhaled an illusion
And exhaled everything else.

I am standing on the edge of this wooden plank and I’ve never felt so ugly.
Slowly my feet draw nearer to the edge.
My eyes search for something nameless
And only the water can see what I’ve become.

I knew I should have listened.
